How’d the painting go Kathie? I hope you and Art didn’t overdo it!
Agreed Bill. After our time away I was looking pretty shaggy until I got my hair cut.
Have a good night everyone. See you in the morning.

Karen we just got through watching
“WONDER”! It was fantastic! Thank you for letting us know about it! :emoticon 0115 inlove:

LEE: Art did taping of the baseboards and crown molding. I baked some Choc Chip cookies that hopefully the kiddies will want their Mommies to buy at the Bake sale. 70258597776__60BFFA95-08BD-4557-8237-B9BDFE7A3C5E.jpeg

I was on the phone first with Apple Help for at least 45 mins regarding not getting any EMAILS since Wed. Then 1hr 12 mins with Microsoft same subject. Finally got to somebody that told me Microsoft’s processors were down and they are working on it! Well, tell your HELP DESK people so they don’t keep trying a fix that was going NOWHERE! Crazy.

MAMA Bunny posted on FBook that she was going home! So she should be back in the Hutch very soon!

Good night all. Hugs to all.

Saving up your energy today Bunnies? Keep in mind, tomorrow is our "work" day.

It's a good thing we went grocery shopping yesterday, instead of today. The place was quite busy. Today it's probably a zoo. I've got a feeling that a lot of people took Friday off from work.

Lee, I would have been surprised if it had been closed on Good-Friday. I can't think of a single store here in town that was closed. The power of the almighty buck.

I too am very picky about taping before a paint job, K2. I finished watching "On Golden Pond" yesterday. It's a great flick, as is "Shawshank Redemption". Cute little bunny cookies. Thanks for the heads-up on BB.

They sure cleared out the golf course at the Masters when that storm came through, Bill. Also, it's starting to look like Tiger Woods isn't going to be in the match much longer.

A fluke in our weather forecast. For at least a week there is a zero chance of rain. (Place your bets.)

MOMMA BUNNY IS HOME!
Happy Dance GIF by foodieg

Those are really fun cookies Kathie! Do you know how many times I've scrolled back up to that cookie picture? Now I have to clean the screen because I keep licking it! Ever since Lu-Ann got me my first Mac, "Microsoft" has been a four letter word.
Old Fart that I am Dave, I remember when Good Friday and Easter Sunday meant that NOTHING was open and EVERYONE was in church!
It's still below freezing here this morning. Should hit 50F later on. We'll have breakfast and let it warm up a tad before we take Ava for her walk at The Navy Yard. She hasn't been since "P" came to visit. Miss "P" can't get into our car and at there age she simply can't go for long walks like she used to.
So, I best get a move on. I'll check back on you all later.
Enjoy your Saturday!

I'm BACK!!!!

Read the following only if you have nothing else to do. This is the Reader's Digest version of my week in the hospital -

This has been one roller coaster of a ride this week! It all started a week ago March 31st. I was to have the second vascular surgery done. This time on my left leg. The right leg one was so easy, I expected this to also be a breeze. Unfortunately, doctor was not able to get through a blockage, so he couldn't do that leg in the office. Told us I would have to go into the hospital for one day to have it done there. IK, that works.

This is where things got weird - Suddenly in the recovery room things started to look very strange to me and they quick took my BP. It had dropped to 70 over 37! They started pumping fluid into me through the vein in my leg. I got 2 1/2 liters before blood pressure was where it should be and I was sent home. Trouble was that with all that liquid, I was so bloated. I was getting severe belly pains when I would use the bathroom. I made up my mind to call the vascular doctor on Monday morning.

Unfortunately, during the night I got up and went to the bathroom and when I sat back on the bed, I was having trouble breathing and my pulse was racing at 123. Scared the crap out of me and I had Bert call 911. They took me to Kissimmee Hospital's trauma center. I have to say they were great at the trauma center. Then they placed me in the cardiac ICU for about 4 hours before transfering me to the regular cardiac unit where I spent my time until last night.

According the them my heard is only functioning at about 37 %. After consulting with my regular cardiologist at Advent Health, they ordered and have put me in a Life Vest as a safety measure until I can have another ECHO cardiogram in a few weeks.

The out of the blue yesterday, they decided my blood count was too low, so they gave me a unit of blood before discharging me last night.

So that's where things stand right now. Never expected these results from something that should have been an easy procedure. I have to get in touch with my cardiologist, the vascular doctor and my pulmonologist all this week to see about setting everything on the right level.

Worst part to me is that probably 95% of my favorite foods are not allowed any longer. That will definitely take some getting used to. Good thing is that I am still allowed a bit of wine a couple of times a day. Thank God for small favors!!!

Still not feeling 100%, but at least I'm home and letting Bert take care of me. I read all you had to say while I was gone, but I can't remember squat about it. Still on lots of meds too.

I do want you all to know that I so missed you all. Typing on a useless cell phone is just not for me, so even though I had you all worried, it couldn't be helped.

Only have one thing to add - I was not in Celebration Hotel this time. Boy, what a difference. The food was terrible, really terrible. Some days I just pushed the tray away it was so disgusting or they'd switch up what was being served.

This cracked me up when my kids posted these comments -

Gary -

You should get a punch card - Stay 10 days in the hospital, the next stay is free!

Maybe she's trying to get platinum membership at the hospital? Would that give her access to some vip docs?

Platinum gets you access to the doctors lounge I heard but do to cutbacks it’s only available from 3:30am to 3:35am.

They were thinking the same way you all were!

Time now to get off the computer and go relax in my wonderful lounge chair and who knows - maybe take a nap! Have a wonderful rest of the day and rest up for our big day tomorrow!!

Pat, good to see you back! That sounds like a mighty scarey trip to the hospital for you, but glad you didn't fool around & try to tough it out!

So good to know you are back home, Pat but sorry that you have had to experience such health problems. Get some rest and let's hope that the various doctors involved can get you back to where you should be, health wise.
Went to a small supermarket this morning and it was packed with shoppers who looked to be stocking up for a length siege. Fortunately I only had 3 items and there were only two people ahead of me in the Express (12 items or less) aisle so I was in and out fairly quickly.
Very chilly (37degrees) when I got up this morning but it has risen into the 50s and may even reach 70degrees this afternoon.

Welcome Home I Missed U GIF by Bells and Wishes

Art is going to be very un-religious and start paint the 1st coat in the spare bedroom TOMORROW——- Easter Sunday. I’ll be at church and then busy at the Bake sale. (It’s only my Palm Sunday) :clap002:
I went to Kohls today after visiting my friend Elaine. I had $10 reward coupon that I wanted to use. I found a nice blouse that I can wear to church tomorrow. I looked up my Kohls acct on my cell phone while waiting in line.
It showed I had. $25 dollar reward and the $10 Kolhs Cash and 30% off too!
So this blouse which as $48 bucks and on sale for $44.99 ended up
costing me $7.41 with taxes! I saved $41.01 with all those coupons. Amazing.

I had to post this sales receipt so you could see it was a real savings!

I had my neighbor across the creek come over with his METAL DETECTOR and he did a scan of the Stuffed Cabbage. NO RING was alerted! He could. SCAN the Nut Rolls because they were wrapped in Alum Foil.

All in all I had a good day.
You folks put on your best Easter Hats and suits and ENJOY EASTER!

Happy Easter....Bunnies!

Very happy that you are finally home, BB. What an unexpected journey you had to take. Looks like you are going to be getting out of the house quite often now. Mostly, just to visit different doctors.

We all would like to get a receipt like yours, K2. Heck, 2 or 3 of them.

On this day remember what Dean Martin always told us; You're no Bunny till some Bunny loves you.

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL THE BUNNIES IN THE HUTCH!!! Now go shake those tails and get your day started.

I'm having a quiet morning before Bert gets up. Then it will be time to get the action started around here. Still have to bake a carrot cake, of course, with cream cheese frosting. Not as fancy as I would have liked, but it's the best I can do right now.

G&E will be coming for dinner with a charcuterie board and veggie tray first. We'll hold dinner until around 6, so that there will still be food left for Missy when she gets home from work. Most stuff is already prepped and Wesley is in charge of cooking the veggies.
Only bummer is that I am not allowed to have any of the ham that I contributed $50. towards. That sucks. Instead I get stuck with the same protein I had last night - salmon. Couldn't make it the way I usually do, so it was very dry to me.

After all the hoopla I intend to watch that special tribute to the Beach Boys. I'm looking forward to that.

Dave - Perfect song for this morning. Cracked me up hearing that again. Did anyone watch the cold opening of Saturday Night Live last night? If not, try to find it on U Tube. It was one of the best they've ever had and we laughed all the way through it. check it out.

Looks like we are finally going to be getting some rain over the next few days. We sure need it. Grass has turned brown, so the rains will be very welcome.

Time for a cup of coffee with no sugar. UGH! Have a wonderful day, fellow bunnies! Now hop to it!!

Good morning.

When we went out to the car we saw it had rained some and it is very cloudy here now and supposed to rain later. I know that the area needs the rain and so does where we live.

We went to breakfast at Cracker Barrel and home now.

Michael and Clara are at work and no idea when they will get home, so most likely Jennifer will have to fix Easter dinner. And actually is will be pretty easy as the hardest thing is a cauliflower thing she wants to make in the crock pot.

Clara's BIL will be here and possibly her sister, but she does have to work a 10 hour day today so she will come when she can.

All have a great day.

The day after Easter.

Don't worry about that brown spot on your sheets this morning, Lee. It's just that chocolate bunny you took to bed with you.

Yes I did see the opening to Saturday Night Live, BB. Pretty funny. Since I record the show, anymore I just watch the opening then fast-forward to Weekend-Update with Colin Jost & Michael Che. After that segment I fast-forward to the end. After JUST getting out of the hospital, I sure hope you aren't revving up your socializing too soon.

Did I mention that my Virginia daughter & hubby sold their house and moved into their beach house? And they made out like bandits. It was on the market for less than a week and they got 50,000 more than they were asking. Ya gotta love bidding wars when you're the seller. Just too big of a house for just the 2 of them and a little pooch. Although I did tell her yesterday that within two years I expect she'll be looking for a bigger beach house or smaller house.

Time to dive into some of that leftover ham. This morning I think I'll make a sandwich on toasted rye bread. Still thinking on what else to put in it.

Mornin’ everyone.
Toasted ham on rye sounds pretty good to me Dave. I wish you’d told me to check my pj’s pocket for chocolate BEFORE I went to bed.
The real estate market is certainly not a game for the faint of heart. Things are slowly picking up around here again. There are so many empty new builds sitting “for immediate occupancy” that were started when things were booming but didn’t get finished until things slowed right down.
I don’t want to read that you over did things yesterday Pat.
I really don’t have a lot on my mind this morning.
So, all of you have a fantastic Monday.

Hope you all had a fantastic Easter. I'll be
reeving up for mine starting this Friday!

Had a great dinner at Jill & Mark's place yesterday. She put out a really nice spread of food.
Got to play with the MANNY pup. He is one spoiled pup! Better that he's there's and not mine! Ha Ha.

Art is painting behind me as I try and post a few words to you folks.
I managed to clean the kitchen doorwall and side lite windows. Then I did the front dining room windows and the 2 doors leading to the family room. Man did they all need it after a long Winter. As soon as the temps jump up a tad I'll tackle the outside windows.
With the LOVELY SUNSHINE pouring into the house it showed all the dust on the glass. Hey, somebody has to do it.

Pat: I don't think you should have been doing any kind of baking or fussing after being in the hospital. You just never stop do you.

Okay, I feel like I need to move on. The smell of this paint is tickling the back of my throat.

Later gang. ENJOY the DAY.

Nancy: Was the track at Bristol suppose to be all muddy looking. Sure looked dangerous.

K2- on behalf of my fellow Red Sox fans I would like to apologize for the way the Sox mistreated their hosts, the Detroit Tigers this past weekend. I must say that when the announcers mentioned reactions by "the crowd at the ball park" they were grossly exaggerating the number of people (or lack thereof) at the game. It was a good weekend for sports fans with the Bruins setting a record for the most wins in a season (63 and counting) and the Sox sweeping the Tigers.
Doctor's appointment this afternoon and I have a few things to mention including the fact that he has yet to send a prescription renewal to my pharmacy that was requested a week ago.
Watched and enjoyed the Beach Boys tribute last night but I must say that a few of the songs that were performed were totally new to me and some of the performers didn't exactly thrill me with their performances.

Kevin and Jamie, Taylor and Brandon, joined us for Easter Dinner yesterday and it was good to have them here for the afternoon. Lisa and Jason were in Maine with their kids who are studying at Maine Orono.

Good morning, everyone! Sounds like yesterday was a winner for all of us. Nice to hear that everything worked out so well.

Our dinner was excellent. Unfortunately, it's hard to rely on someone who doesn't follow through on helping. Namely our grandson. He was to come early to help get stuff ready. Thankfully, Bert & I had gotten everything prepped in advance, as well as doing the charcuterie board and veggie tray. Bert had sliced the ham in advance and I made the carrot cake, as well as supervised preparing the scallop potatoes & pineapple casserole. Grandson only had to cook the sliced carrots and cauliflower. So much for all this extra help he was giving us. I've already agreed with Bert that this was the last time we are taking on the work and expense of a holiday dinner. Now just hold me to that.
Of course it was a bummer watching everyone eat that beautiful honey baked ham while I got to ear leftover warmed up salmon. I did steal a small bite or 2 of ham. There's lots of leftovers, but alas, I can't have the ham in any shape or form. I was mad at Bert when I found out he gave the ham bone to Wes. I wanted it for flavor in split pea soup.

My family is on a mission and I could use your help too. Seems like a lot of what I can eat is actually what you would eat on a diet. The last thing I need is diet food. I lost 10 lbs in 5 days in the hospital! I need fattening type foods. I personally could live on pasta, but I can't do that either. Lots of fresh veggies are fine, but I need something fattening to go with them, while still being things I can eat. This is very frustrating!!!

Bill - I too watched the Beach Boys special last night and agree with you that some of the artists left a lot to be desired. Behaving my inner self, I was only able to tap my feet to that wonderful music. I have to watch the last half hour though, as Bert could not miss Blacklist.

Dave - My other favorite skit for SNL was interviewing the evil one from Alladan talking about THE BOY here in Florida messing with Disney. That totally cracked me up. I actually went back and watched it twice. It was that funny. Henceforth deathSantis will be known as THE BOY!!!!!

Lee - Now that the housing market is picking up by you, do you still have any friends that you haven't moved into the neighborhood yet? Better get to work before they run out of houses.

Kathie - Sounds like you had a nice day with the family, as did you, Bill.

I see by the clock it's almost the noon hour. Time to find something I can eat for lunch, other than rabbit food! Have a fantastic Monday, gang!

ALL INSIDE WINDOWS and SILS are DONE. Bay windows on deck is done.
Just have bedrooms and the 2 front windows to do.

Art is done with his painting.

I need to bring up the carpet shampoo'r gizmo and do the carpets in this room before we move furniture back in and put the drapes back up. I will vacuum the drapes, but I'm not sending them to the cleaners. They'll just have to do with a good vacuuming.

Negc: I watched some the the Tigers/Boston game and it was pathetic. Same OLD/Same OLD for the Tigers so far.

Got a message from my Internist. She's hanging it up after 17 years to be with her 2 sons and hubby. The boys are 15 & 12. I can see why she might want to be around them. They're into sports big time.

So now I need to either get another physician at the same practice or look else where. JOY, JOY.

Out of here for now. It's just a perfect day here to do the windows. 63F and Sunny.

Pat: I will HOLD YOU TO YOUR PROMISE NOT TO HOST big holidays anymore. Your family needs to STEP UP a LOT BETTER. Especially when you just got out of the hospital.

Later.
