So far it's Sunny and NO RAIN..... but it's in the forecast for the rest of the week. And so are temps reaching 70F on WED! WOW. (with rain)

I am TOTALLY SICK and TIRED of the word TRUMP being mentioned 24/7. And I see NO END to it anytime soon.

I'm busy straightening things out here in the house. Going to be labeling and packaging the Nut Rolls with a friend from church tomorrow.

I'm going to actually serve her the famous "J.L. Hudson Maurice Salad" for lunch. Simple and yummy. Loved ordering that when Hudson's was still around. Somebody said that Macy's serves it at their deli. I haven't been in a Macy's store in years so I wouldn't know.

You all have a good rest of the day. I need to go shopping for Salad goodies.

Sorry to read about the problem Pat encountered at the doctor's office and that she is back at the hospital. Hoping that this time the doctor can complete the procedure and that it is as successful as the first one apparently was.
Glad to report that her car has arrived from Florida, sooner than expected. She just left with Kevin to pick it up and pay for the transport. I was a bit skeptical about using the new source to transport the car but I was clearly wrong to be concerned. During our airport delay, I joked that her car would probably make it home before we did and it turned out that I wasn't far off in my prediction.
Did a bit of banking today and went to my pharmacy to refill a couple of prescriptions.
As comfortable as the bed in our Vero house was, our bed at home is even more comfortable so we have both slept quite well the last two nights. Chilly here (in the 50's) compared to what we have become used to over the past three months, but it is supposed to be around 70 degrees on Thursday so things are improving. I suspect we will still have some chillier weather over the next few weeks but we will just have to live with whatever Mother Nature offers.
Guess I didn't have to worry about Miami making it past the Final Four, but my pick of UConn is still viable.

Good evening. The Dr app this morning went well, she is changing my Cholesterol med and I had two other meds refilled. Also they will be setting up a referral for a Podiatrist because I have a very painful bunion on one foot and that same foot other toes are having problems and the other foot has one toe that is red and the ankle on it is causing problems. Since am changing the one med will be going back in 3 months. I then did some grocery shopping.

My PT appt this afternoon went well. Once I was done with the exercises the therapist gave me a very nice message of the neck and upper back without applying a lot of pressure. I have had the heating pad on three times tonight, as like the last few times mu neck hurts more when I am done and will hurt for a least a day if not more.

Tomorrow morning Bruce has the first of two appts for a root canal, I will be going with him since we are not sure exactly what will be happening. I will have my list of appts for the month so we won't duplicate dates. Total cost for the two Dentists is just over $3200, I just hope out insurance reimburses us a decent amount.

Where is the little kid in you, KC? 80 degree water in the pool and you didn't jump in. Any 8 year old would have been doing cannonballs. When you dangled your old feet in the water, you didn't get frostbite did you?

I‘m pretty sure, correct me if I’m wrong Kathie, that J.L.Hudson’s was a big department store and major employer in Detroit. I only say that because the Detroit PBS station had a program about many of the old buildings and businesses that used to anchor downtown Detroit. Of course Hudson’s was one of the featured segments.

Peachy comes for a three day visit tomorrow. Doug and Brenda are going to Cleveland to meet Jim and Gail to see Springsteen. At $300 US bucks a ticket I’ll wait until the concerts come out on Netfix! I wouldn’t even pay that to see Buffett! Jimmy, not Warren.

Good WET morning Wrabbits!

With all the rain we have gotten since yesterday (and it’s still raining now) we should have LOTS of Flowers!

Karen: How fun to to have a Sleep-Over with your sisters. I’m with you about jumping into the pool just yet. Maybe if it was 90F outside!

Nancy: Hope you and Bruce have a good day. I know all about expensive dental bills!

BB: Sure hope you’re doing okay over at your Celebration Hotel…oops, I mean Hospital. Hope you can stop by and give us all a update soon.

Art picked up his nee hearing aids yesterday. WOW….WHAT A DIFFERENCE FOR HIM!
The nice Dr spent 1 hr 15 mins programing and making sure all was working well for him. She programed his iPhone so he can hear phone conversations through the hearing aids without having the actual phone by his ears. Amazing results. He can also change the sound levels from his phone. And lastly the Aids are rechargeable! All in all Art was a happy camper by the time he left. He goes back in 2 weeks for a re-check.
He was grateful I pushed him to get new hearing aids and CHANGE DOCTORS. This place was SO MUCH MORE EQUIPPED.

I’m going to be busy with my friend getting those DARN Nit Rolls all labeled for delivery this Sunday. (Our Palm Sunday Bake Sale)

Lee: Nice that you and Lu-Ann can help out your friends and watch Peachy. And they must have a nice ENTERTAINMENT FUND to be able to pay that kind of money to see Springsteen. WOW!

Dave: Enjoy the T-Show today. I’ll have to catch it on a replay. Since it’s a HISTORIC happening I’m sure the re-runs will be around forever.

Still trying to catch up on our sleep, K2, but the car was unloaded and bags mostly unpacked and clothes put away almost as soon as the car arrived. Still difficult to get out of our comfortable bed in the AM but eventually I make it and it is still technically morning when I do.
Will join the rest of the world today watching the Trump Follies - not that there is likely to be any way to avoid them on TV.
Hope we get an update on Pat and that the hospital stay will help deal with the problems that sent her back there.
Have to check this morning's paper to see who won the NCAA championship. Watched the Red Sox lose a close game to Pittsburgh instead.
Did manage to schedule a much-needed haircut for later this week so that I will look at least a bit more civilized then.

Good afternoon. Well Bruce was in the dentist's chair for 3 hours and he has to go back in two weeks. From the time we left the house to when we got back was 4 hours. In a bit I will go and pick up hopefully 3 Rx's for me.

Yeah yesterday was not too bad at PT but of course I am hurting as much if not more today. I am so ready for the PT to stop.

We may get some rain this afternoon but I am not hopeful.

My goodness, yesterday was a DElightful spring day here in Ahiya. Lots of sunshine with the temperature climbing to 74 degrees. And today, not as much sunshine but the temperature will be touching 80 degrees. Plus no rain till after 4 PM.

300 bucks to see a concert, Lee? That knocks me back in my chair. Looks like I won't be seeing any concerts in the near future. Come to think of it, it's been YEARS since we were at one. And that was Cher.

Very, very pleased that Art's new hearing aids are a great improvement over the previous ones. Damn those things are expensive.

Bill, I'm getting the feeling that next year you are going to be shipping your mattress down to Florida in a plastic bag tied to the roof of your car.

Batten down the hatches. Today is supposed to be in the low to mid 70's which is going to trigger NASTY thunderstorms and rain. Tomorrow is supposed to back into the low 50's.
No, I haven't heard anything from Lu-Ann about Momma Bunny. Other than she was in Celebration Hospital. that's worrisome.
I hollered across the river at a guy I thought was Art. He waved back! Those new aides sure do work Kathie. Even from a safety point of view it will be good for Art to be able to hear things on the road around him. My gosh you do so much for your church and their events.
Personally I can't think of anybody I'd fork out that kind of money to see. Well, maybe Dave if he was doing a live "DJ gig".
I think that I'm still trying to catch up on our time away Bill. No matter how nice the beds are where ever we travel, it's always good to get back home.
How's Miss Reba's place coming along Karen? I meant to ask...are The Boys (The Guys) still in the neighbourhood?
I know from experience Nancy that the short term pain with physio and exercise pays off in the long run. Good for you sticking with it!

Lee have fun with Ms P the next few days. Only thing you have to worry about is tripping over her on the floor. Oh and feeding and letting her outside. Very easy pup to take care of.

Our weather is the same as Lee mentioned. Waiting on MORE RAIN.
LAST NIGHT about 1:30 a.m. we had a THUNDER BANG that had to be the loudest I've heard in years. WOWser, it made me jump up big time. 2 of them and it was over.

Easy day today over here. Need to PAY BILLS online and just chill.
It was fun having my friend over for lunch and when Jill popped in it made it even more fun.

KAREN: Lee brought up a good point.... just where are the "2 fellas" from your neighborhood been lately? Haven't heard of them stopping by with any coffee cakes or asking you out to breakfast. Fill us in on them. (sorry, but I forgot their names)

As for our Momma Bunny I saw she posted that she was in the hospital and one short other post and then nothing since. I'm not sure she can get on this site from her cell phone. I think she uses a LapTop at home to post on here. Let's all say a prayer that she's doing okay.

Good morning. Well Bruce is off doing jobs today as he is feeling pretty good.

Today I will pack for Tampa, we head over tomorrow and come home Monday. This afternoon I go to PT.

Lee, I have had PT on a shoulder and a knee and never before have I had the pain after exercises for more than a couple of visits. Yet for the neck it is painful for days after each visit. So I am having a hard time thinking it is helping. I am very ready for it to be over.

Hope that Pat is able to come home from the hospital soon.

Saw our first robins this morning, so despite today's weather forecast it appears that Spring may actually have arrived. 70 degree temperatures yesterday and tomorrow but today it is in the 40's- a real rollercoaster.
Watched (not that we had many other choices) the Trump saga yesterday. I was surprised to see that at one point (although nothing was actually happening) that CBS dropped its coverage to broadcast one of its soap operas. They did return to the courthouse in time to see Trump enter the courtroom and continued until he had been arraigned and left to head back to the airport. Hard to wrap my head around the news that his next hearing isn't scheduled to take place until next December so we will have to endure his rants about the DA and the Judge for another five months.
I remember my PT sessions when I broke my wrist a number of years ago. Couldn't wait for them to end but when they did, I actually missed them. See my primary care doctor on Monday and will be asking him for a recommendation for some PT for my hip which has really been bothering me these past couple of months and limiting my mobility.
Will need to take the whole adjustable bed from home if we want to be entirely comfortable Dave and I don't think either of our cars could handle the weight.
Watched all three FBI shows last night and noted that CBS is advertising that all of their series will be showing new episodes for the entire month of April.
Heard from Jet Blue that we are each receiving a future flight credit because of the delay we experienced on Saturday. I think it has more to do with the requirements of the "Passenger Rights Act" than any generosity on their part but it will come in handy when we have to fly again.
Still hoping to hear some celebration from Celebration and Kissimmee.

This RAIN is getting OLD FAST. We didn't have this much snow all Winter like this rain lately! Oh well.... it is what it is. DEAL with it.

Art and I went out on the deck between rain down pours and got the LEAVES that were blocking the DOWN SPOUT in the Ives. Now that made a big difference in no more water over flowing in the corner. No other leaves all along the back of the house. And amazingly Mother Nature let us know we were suppose to be inside and started dumping RAIN as we dragged the ladder into the garage!

Safe inside now. And taking apart the spare bedroom. This "MISTER" of mine (Art) just wants this job over and done with ASAP! Unscrewing wall switches and took down the drapes, we moved the dresser and bed out into the middle of the room, etc. Reminds me of a MESS!
Art just let me know that he checked the paint can in the basement of this current bedroom color and it was

years ago when we painted this room. LORDY.... I think it's time! Funny how you get use to something after so many years and it still looks GOOD! (which it does)

Not sure what time exactly we will be leaving tomorrow as I am not setting an alarm. But am thinking of about 10 or so.

I find it interesting Lee that almost all winter long, north of Lake Erie the weather has been a bit snowier and cold and wetter than it has been for us south of Lake Erie. Is Peachy being spoiled rotten before being sent home to her "parents"?

KC; I too want to know what happened to the "2 fellas". You don't mention them anymore.

Bill; You don't want to irritate too many old people by cutting off their soap-operas and "The Price Is Right". Although I understand that a lot of college kids watch soap-operas too.

My goodness K2, you sure were an early riser this morning. Dumb question from me. If the paint in the bedroom still looks good, WHY are going to paint it?
