Dave: Funny you mentioned a glitch with your Drs appt.
Art got one of those reminders about his Retina Dr’s appt in APRIL! It showed the appt was at a different location. Like 45 mins away on the other side of town! He is used to going to the office 5 mins from home. Guess who has to call and see what this is all a out? Yup…ME!
The computer issues from last night are somewhat better, but I’m not going to spend anymore time dealing with it.
Can you believe the weather folks are saying we might get a hour of SNOW FLURRIES around 2:00 pm today, then Sunshine! Strange!
Knees are fine this morning! Whew!

Good morning, y'all! Wow! This week sure is flying by. Can't believe Easter is a week from Sunday. Time certainly is flying by!
Kathie - Glad your knee is feeling better with the shot. Computer generated messages are a real bummer and can screw up your day quickly. I got one of them right after I got out of the hospital last time for a follow up visit. Luckily I called to confirm and it turned out that I wasn't scheduled. D*mn computers!!
Dave - Sorry you basically had the same kind of problem. Too bad you and Kathi actually went there. But look on the bright side - you got out of the house for something other than grocery shopping.
We're off and running again this morning. Main stop will be at World Market to pick up imported Easter candy. It's close to an hour ride to get there, but that's ok.

Good evening. Got my PT changed from Friday next week to Monday.
I had dinner by myself tonight as it was ready and after and Bruce was not home, I had just put everything in the fridge when he got home at 7.
Tomorrow he has a dentist appt and two hours later we have an appt for the results from our colonoscopies.

Good News; It's suppose to be sunny all day today.
Bad News; It'll only get up to 50 degrees.
Good News; The teenage grandson who was here yesterday making cookies, totally enjoyed it.
Bad News; Kathi gave half of them to a nearby church, and the grandson took the other half home to his family. So none were left for Kathi.
Good News; I once again got to enjoy that seasonal lemon pie ice cream.
Bad News; It meant opening the last container of my large stash of it till later this year.

It’s supposed to hit 40F here today. But at least it’s supposed to be sunny too.
Lisa and Razzie will be moving down to The Burg this summer. She closed on her new home yesterday. “Hail, hail, the gang’s all here”.

Lee, wow, you sure don't mess around when it comes to moving your friends to the burg do you? That was a fast house hunt & closing.
Dave, bummer about no cookies being left behind, did you & Kathi at least get to sample them?
today is Scooter's drop off day for her Bp check, depending on how her weight is I may or may not leave her, if she's lost more weight I plan to just bring her home. No point in leaving her & stressing her out if she's not doing well. If she's stable or gained I'll leave her for one last check & then I'm going to tell the vet we need a break.
Time to load up & head out, see you all later

Good news, went to Lowes & found a Hydrangea for Miss Reba on sale for $7, regular price $15

Nice to see that BRIGHT SUN outside.
Bad thing is that you can see the DIRTY WINDOWS from a long Winter! Also, the “dust” flying in the sun-stream! Oh well, it’s TOO COLD to go outside to wash windows here.

Lee: How’s the basement project coming along? Sometimes those last touches in a project are harder to get done than the rest.
I’m totally impressed with how fast you got aLisa to move to A’Burg! Did she buy this just from your pics/videos. Wishing her all the best in her move! Has she sold her house yet?

Art is biking ( in this cold) and one of the riders is celebrating his Birthday! That means Brownie treats that one of the lady biker brings for all of them to enjoy!
I’m going to try and pick out a Paint color for the spare bedroom. And then I need to find a color to paint the dresser and end table and the stand up storage unit.
Yup, another project in the works.

In keeping with the (apparent) new format: Good news is that the high temperature in East Bridgewater on Saturday is expected to be 62 degrees. The bad news is that by the time we land it will be closer to 46 degrees and the high temperature on Sunday is predicted to be 51 degrees. We do have some warmer clothes to wear during our flight home and Lisa has already turned up the heat back home so we should survive.
We are pretty much set for our return here next year and will likely schedule our stay to extend further into April or a bit later pending whatever the owners decide they want to charge.

Good afternoon. Well it was a busy day. first was Bruce's dental appt. And he has to have a root canal so appt is set for Tuesday at 8 at the endodontist's. Then we went to the Gastro's for results from our colonoscopies and both are good to go.
Got a call early that my PC appt is Monday so tomorrow morning first thing, meaning be there before 7am, so hopefully I won't have to wait to long to be seen, I will go to the lab for bloodwork to be taken. Then tomorrow afternoon I go to see the Dr for my neck.

Good late afternoon! Sorry I didn't get to post earlier. We were off bright and early to Sea World. The Seven Seas Food and Drink Festival. We wanted to go before it got too hot. We stayed for about 2 hours. That was enough for us.
Unfortunately, Sea World is no longer the fun place to go. Unless you like roller coasters or are a fan of Sesame Street, there's not much else to do there. They stopped all the fun shows and rides and now only have "educational" shows about Orcas (don't even call it Shamu any longer ), dolphins, seals, penguins, etc. This will be the last year that we get passes. as it's not worth it to us.
We gave M&J and family passes for last Christmas. They've only gone once and prefer going to Disney. I feel like we wasted our money on that gift.
Karen - Glad Scooter did better and hope the BP does well too.
Bill - Safe flight home on Saturday. Sorry we aren't going to be able to get together with you tomorrow for dinner. Next time you're here in Florida we'll make it work.

I'll be busy tomorrow also. I have vascular surgery scheduled for 10AM. it takes about 3 hours, if it is on time. Just have to wait and see. So if I don't get to post, you needn't worry. I'm just doing "my thing"!

Sitting here in the Spare bedroom typing away as ARTIE measures the walls for PAINT!
Out of all the paper work we have with all the colors in this house this is the ONLY ROOM so far that we can't come up with what color is on these walls.
We got out our paint chip strips and came as close as we could to the color so we can ask the nice guy at Sherwin Williams if we need to put the GREY TYPE primer color over this dark Pumpkin Color that is on here now. It's either buy the primer and put it on and then put 2 coats of the new color on or just put 2 coats of the new color on. Either way it will cost a FEW BUCKS for the darn paint.
PAINT IS 35% OFF UNTIL NEXT TUESDAY. So we want to make sure to take advantage of that price cut. Lord knows it's like buying liquid GOLD these days.

Good evening. Made steak subs for dinner and they were good.
Pat, it was today that we were busy, and tomorrow I will be busy. I will be setting up a dental appt for me as I need new dentures. And since the dentist does not take our insurance and we have to request reimbursement I need Bruce's work to be all done first.
And I need to get a dermatologist appt for skin cancer check and I have a lump on one elbow and it is starting to hurt wo want that removed.
I see the indictment is happening and all police in NYC have to be on duty tomorrow. Of course the repubs are calling it only political.
All have a good night.

Well this morning did not go as I had hoped. Got to the lad before 7 and when I checked in I clicked the wrong thing so I waited almost two hours before going back and then had 6 sticks before they got enough blood, with two actually working.

Cleaned my Microwave Oven this morning and Oven glass door.
NOTE TO SELF: Never do Chicken Wings in the Upstairs Oven. Not worth all the clean up.
Glad to get that job off my list.
Can't wait any longer for the RAIN to stop. Need to go and buy that Paint and blue tape!
