Good afternoon, busy morning around here today!
Kathie, that was some Dr. marathon Art was running yesterday, but I guess getting them all over & done in 1 day is not a bad thing, just expensive & tiring.
Dave, I am quite familiar with the black hole purse, happens to me more times than I care to admit. What's even worse is losing a knife or a pair of scissors I'm using in the kitchen, my kitchen is NOT that big but I swear sometimes they drift off into another universe!!
Pat, haven't been to Outback in years, but the last time we did go it wasn't anything spectacular. Nice that you have enough leftovers though to skip cooking again.
Lee, remember, measure twice, cut once! I've heard that brad nailers are pretty cool tools. My friends hubby is into woodworking and he was telling me all about the tools he has bought for his hobby & a brad nailer was one of them. He was able to find some good deals on used tools online.
Bill, sorry to hear your visit to the sunshine state is coming to an end, maybe you will get lucky & some of the nicer weather will follow you home.
The inspector showed up this morning to do the wind mitigation report & while he was in the garage he noticed my truck was leaking oil after I'd moved it. I just had the oil changed on Sunday & hadn't driven it since then. He said that maybe they just didn't get the oil pan tight enough, so of course I had to get under the truck & take a look. I couldn't find any wet spots underneath at all, when the inspector finished in the attic he took a look & said the oil pan was fine, so they probably just didn't tighten the filter. I took it back to Valvoline after he left & they told me it was just "residual" oil from the oil change & they cleaned it all up. I don't buy that for a minute but so far there hasn't been any more leaking, so as long as it's fixed I'm happy. Won't be using them again though that's for sure!
Tonite is the dinner at the clubhouse & I made an upside down jello cake. Yellow cake layer on top raspberry jello & sliced peaches in the 8" cake pan, with more jello poured over the top & sides. Once it sets up you flip it out & there is the layer of fruit & jello on top of the cake encased in Jello. I've made it before for birthdays & it usually turns out pretty good.
Need to go find some lunch , have a good day all!
