Good morning.
Remember a time when we were usually excited about it being Friday?
Not much on my ever shrinking mind this morning.
Other than, of course, to wish you all a fantastic day!

Good morning. Bruce has a Dr appt this afternoon, but I don't think I will be going with him, not feeling that good.

All have a great day.

Good morning! Today is prepping day around here for the party tomorrow night. Missy has been busy cutting up veggies for a veggie tray. She cut up enough stuff for at least 50 people! Now she's working on a spinach & artichoke dip followed by the fruit for a fruit tray. Then she's going to vacuum and dust to make sure everything is sparkly for tomorrow night. Later Bert & I will go pick up the birthday cake and candles. After that I think we might just go to the Grille for dinner.

Kathie - Sorry about the MSU loss.

Beyond that, I've got nothing for you right now.

Good evening. Well my right shoulder and neck has been really hurting today, have put gel on it, heat and massage I have a feeling I will be going to bed early.

All have a good night.

Washed the car at one of those self-service places. Quick and inexpensive.

Made some Pizzelle and took most of them to Jill & Marks. Actually just wanted to see Mr Manny. Had fun.
Then went to the local Catholic Church for Fish Fry dinners. Yum.

Yes, BUMMER MSU didn’t move on, but at least they made it into the Sweet Sixteen and had an overtime game. There’s always next year!

Dave: If you’re using the Chili for a dip with corn chips make sure to add some cheese and heat if until melted. Hope you bought the NO BEAN HOT
one.

Dump trump is stoking up trouble already with threats to the prosecutor in New York containing white powder and a threat note in an envelope.
They have a picture of the
T-man with a BAT in his hand threatening to hit the New York prosecutor in the head. Horrible how he can get away this crap.

Pat: Lots of Prep work going on for Jimmy’s party. Sounds like it will be fantastic. Can’t wait to see pictures and report of the fun.

To the rest of you Wrabbits…have a fun and safe weekend!

Later gang.

"Not much on my ever shrinking mind this morning." Now that you are back in the cold weather Lee, it's probably not the only part of your body that's showing shrinkage.

With all the work you've been doing for tonight's party BB, you just might sleep through part of it. I envy all the leftovers you'll probably have.

"Hope you bought the NO BEAN HOT one." That's EXACTLY the Hormel chili I picked out, K2. Happy that you got the Catholic Churches fish dinner last night. I was going to, but after looking at all our leftovers I decided to wait till next week. Good stuff, that fish. I also heard the Buffoon is hinting at death or destruction if he's indited. What a jerk!

We're forecast to have 50 plus MPH winds today. Could get interesting.

Hi to all the rest of you Bunnies!

A very wet and windy start to the day. Oh well. At least it’s just rain.
I got going again on finishing the basement. The “secret” door has been primed and I picked up trim for the one door. We picked out our baseboards. Somewhere between what we wanted and what we were willing to spend! Trying to fit 7’ lengths into Subie reminded me of something. I miss the van.

I envy all the leftovers you'll probably have.
Come on Dave. We should know by now with Momma Bunny’s gang and their appetites there aren’t gonna be any left overs! Ya, my hair is shrinking too. That is what you meant, isn’t it?
Quick and inexpensive.
Oh Kathie, the lines I can think of that would go with that.
You all be good today.

Good morning. Well I got a good nights sleep and sometime during the night the pain went from t he right shoulder/neck to the left but it is nto as bad as the right was.

Today will watch the truck race and the Xfinity race, both from COTA, road race in Texas.

Saw a photo this morning of trump leaving his golf club in West Palm trying to hid in the car because of his impending arrest. There is a group that has hired an ad truck to both park and drive around Mara Lago with the boards showing all the things that Tucker Carson said about hating trump. Guess all the bad things are actually starting to bother him. Good.

All have a great day.

Good morning! Figured I better get on here now before things get crazy around here.
I really hate relying on other people! Grandson was supposed to pick up chiars from our friends. Did he do it? Of course not. Now that's something else for Bert to have to do today.

Jimmy's sisters will be coming early to help decorate and fix food. Missy kept telling me yesterday to put them to work and that Bert & I shouldn't do anything getting ready. Turns out that Jimmy's one sister is flying in from Texas and her plane doesn't arrive until noon. Then it will take them over an hour to get here. Had we waited for them, we'd have had a problem finishing everything. Right now Bert is doing the cleaning that Missy was supposed to do yesterday, but never got to.
I may yet just take myself off to the bedroom with a bottle of wine and forget about everything! You know I really won't though.
We don't have Catholic Church fish fries on Fridays during Lent, so Bert and I went to the Grille last night and had their salmon special. It really was pretty good and thankfully, there were no leftovers. We ate out on the patio and it was perfect - not too hot and no wind. Then Bert pushed me all the way out to the end of the boardwalk to the gazibo. Haven't been out there for quite a while.
The repair they have to do on our community dam is going to take quite a while to do and will be very complicated. In the meantime, due to the drop in our lake, there's no boating allowed. A number of people pulled their boats out of the water, so they can use them on Lake Toho while repairs are being done. I can just imagine how much this is going to cost. I just ope they don't decide to pass the cost on to residents or there will be a major war!!
Jimmy is so pi$$ed at Missy and telling everyone that he arranged a baby shower for her when she was pregnant with Nate and now she's doing nothing for his 50th birthday! We are all cracking up over this. Can't wait until tonight and to see his reaction!
Time to run and get to work. Hopefully, Missy will be able to sneak away and come help. Have a fantastic day, no matter what you are doing! I'll tell you all about the party tomorrow.

Hi Wrabbits.
We have Triple Pane Windows and the WINDS OUTSIDE is so strong we can actually hear the GUSTS! Wow!

Lee: Nice that you are getting back into finishing the basement. Gotta get it done before the nice weather actually gets here.

Mother Nature is doing a good job of washing the trees and shrubs with the RAIN today before we get the buds opening up.

BB: Mice to know your dear family is not only using your home for the surprise party, but using you and Bert too. For all you do for your grandson you think a simple thing like picking up some chairs wouldn’t be such a big deal for him. I’d hold back on any generous momentary hand outs. Or better yet, just tell him you’re disappointed in him for not coming through when he was needed. :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

Made a batch of Pizzelles for Art & I to have on hand to have with our coffee.

Looks like the rain is back. More like a must.

Karen: How you doing over your way? Hope you’re rested up from your company being around.

Dave: Got a good laugh out of your “Shrinkage” remark to Lee! Too funny.

Out of here for now.

Good evening. Bruce went to a mass this afternoon where a lady he did work for for years was remembered, He actually sat next to one of her daughters and was able to point out a group that was from the development she had lived in. I didn't go as I ma hurting too much to sit in a pew for an hour or so.

When he got home I fixed dinner, easy tonight, hotdogs, Saurerkraut and beans.

Just watched the Xfinity race and it was good.

All have a good night.

Hardly any rain here yesterday, K2, but even when the sun was shining the high winds came blasting through. Peaking at 66 MPH between 2 and 11 PM.

Unlike a lot of people, we got by with only few flickers of the lights and a very minor bit of damage. The hydraulic door closer to the front screen/window door got broken. The winds sucked the door open, and than threw it back to closing. BUT the hydraulic closer wouldn't let it close that fast, and the piston in it bent.

Kathi decided to head off to Home Depot to get a new one and saw trees and electric poles down, roads closed, and 2 wheeled trash carts all over the place. Home Depot lost it's power, but has a back-up generator. BUT it produces only enough electricity to keep the lights on, and not enough to run their registers or process a credit card. So Kathi came home empty handed.

Our next door neighbor didn't fare so well. Five wooden panels of the fence around their back yard got blown out.

Sure glad when 11 PM came around.

Hoping to see pictures and stories of your party, BB.

You sure must be getting close to finishing that basement, Lee. OR the emptying of your checking account.

So Bill, who's your new pick to win the basketball playoffs?

Missing you, KC.

Calm after yesterday’s wind and rain.
Ava and I saw lots, like in Dave’s area, of fences and trees down on our walk this morning.
I’m blown away at the cost of trim. Like window and door casings and baseboards. And they’re MDF or plastic, not even wood!
Our Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, and your President, Joe Biden, got together for a chat a
or two over the weekend. Mr. Biden addressed our parliament. The really neat local connection…Pelee Island red and white wine was served at the state dinner. I bet their retail shop about 30 minutes from here is gonna be busy for a few days!
Hope Jimmy was surprised by the party Pat. I just kept hoping he wouldn’t get in a snit ‘cause he didn’t think Missy had planned anything and decided to go fishing instead!

Got a good laugh out of your “Shrinkage” remark to Lee!
I was hurt that you would think that was funny Kathie. Even I came up short for a smart a$$ reply. :emoticon 0140 rofl:
I may watch some of Nancy’s race for a couple of reasons. Today in Austin the cars will be turning left AND RIGHT and there are two former F1 World Champions in the field.
Other than that we have a couple of things on tap for a friend today. Things that just happen to have us in the vicinity of that winery.
You all have a good Sunday!

Happy Sunday Sun GIF
Hope the WINDS have calmed in OHIO, Canada and Detroit-Metro areas. Sure was scary for awhile.

Dave: Sorry about your storm door. That had to take some suction to pull it out like that.
Lee:
I'm still laughing. It's kind of like the Seinfeld episode .... you just don't forget it! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

Karen: Hope you found a NEW CHURCH of the week to go to.
I'm off to our church right now. I'll put in a good word for all of you Wrabbits.

BB: Hope you SURVIVED the party. Can't wait to hear about it. Hope your house is in one piece.

Later gang!

Art went to a Model Car Show at the local Comm college. Amazing how that man can WALK around that gym for hours and has a hard time when we're walking in a store together! Hmmm..........Pfttf...:emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

A late good morning. Slept pretty good last night and did not wake until 9.

Bruce wants to go to Longhorn Steak house for lunch so we will do that and after go to Aldi's for a few things.

Then later this afternoon will watch the Cup race. The driver I will be watching is Jordan Taylor, he is a very good IMSA driver and he qualified 4th, the two former F1 drivers qualified 22 and 24th, so it will be interesting to see how they do.

Temp right now is 89 so another warm day.

All have a great day.

Good morning!
I survived the party!!! It really was fun. Jimmy didn't have a clue until he walked in and everyone yelled SURPRISE! He was shocked to see his sister from Texas here and seeing everyone brought him to tears. He's just a big softy at heart!
Missy had kept telling me that Jimmy's sisters would be here early and that I should put the to work decorating or fixing trays. Well, thank goodness I didn't wait for them. They showed up about an hour before people would be arriving. Luckily Laurie & family arrived to help blow up balloons and to do some of the decorating. Even got the 13 year old grandson to make a couple of batches of pigs in a blanket. He loves to cook.
I just planted my bottom on my chair and went on to be treated like a guest. It worked great!!
Now today Missy will be over to help clean up all the decorations and to take home all the veggies and fruit that didn't get used. They'll have enough to last them all week, if not longer. I intend to just relax today.

Dave - Sorry that wind bent that part on you and that Kathi couldn't get a new part yet. That must have been some really strong winds in your area. We must have had some strong winds here too during the night. The decorations on the lanai got all messed up.

Lee - Talk about "shrinkage", there's a parent here in Flori-dah who got a school principal fired because she showed her 6th grade class a picture of Michelangelo's statue of David. The parent claimed the statue was pornographic! Can you believe that?
I think all building materials costs are sky high now. I remember buying that plastic trim for about $3 for an 8 foot length. I can't imagine what it is today.

Kathie - That's great that Art can still walk around at that model car show. Do you think he'll come home with an new kits? Thanks for saying a prayer for this bunch of heathens. We sure need it!

Nancy - Enjoy your lunch and race today.

Bert's already out on the lanai cleaning up. I guess I should go and help him. Have a super Sunday everyone!

Good afternoon, figured I'd better check in before someone sent the mounties & rabbit catcher after me!

Pat, glad the party was a success, but it's to bad the family didn't follow thru on helping like they said they would. Good for you for sticking to your plan of relaxing in your chair as a guest!

Dave, wow, that was some wind you had to bend the door closer like that. Glad that is the worst of the damage!

Kathie, I'm still church shopping, I'm going to one right now & will probably stay thru Easter but pretty sure I will resume my search after that. The people are nice enough, but the sermons are very dry & boring. And today I thought I would lose my marbles, I was sitting near the back & this lady behind me was eating something thru he whole sermon. At first I thought maybe she had a cough drop or something, but then I could hear her reaching into a bag & then crunch, crunch, like someone eating ice....errrrr...nearly drove me nuts! I will make sure to sit closer to the front next week & avoid that!

Lee, glad you all made it thru the high winds also. Can't wait to see the pic's of the final finished project in the basement. It's outrageous how much building material costs, & like you said it's not even real wood!

Scooter girl is not doing so good the last few days, she hasn't been eating well & just seems off. She supposed to go Thurs. for another BP check, but I think I am going to have them weigh her before I leave & if she's lost more weight I am just going to bring her back home. No reason to stress her out getting her checked if she isn't going to eat.
Still haven't gotten the wind mitigation inspection done yet, the guy was supposed to come last Thurs & never showed & never called or returned my call. So on Friday I called the roofing company & they told me he fell off a ladder on Tues & broke his leg. They are supposed to have another inspector call me to schedule, so we shall see.

Sunny and 47F right now in my neck of the woods! Just a very slight breeze. Nothing like yesterday.

BB: I saw video's on Missy's FBook page of Jimmy walking in the front door. He sure was surprised. Nice he got a fun Surprise B-Day party. That cake looks yummy.

Church was So - So today. Only 13 choir members. Makes it hard when all the stronger voices are not present. The new priest is way SLOWER than our old priest. Drives us crazy.
Our old priest was up in the choir loft singing with us and even he had a few raised eyebrows for how long certain parts of the service were taking.

Anyways, you all are good to go for a week. The BIG GUY UPSTAIRS would be happy to see you all in church one of these days!

Stopped at a White Castel on the way home from church and had 3 Sliders with everything except ONIONS. Those are just nasty and stay with you all day. After eating them I'm good to go for at least 3 months.

Off to get a coffee and relax a tad. You all have a good Sunday Afternoon.
That goes for you too Miss Karen! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile: Ha Ha.... and look you just posted before I could click on the POST REPLY button. Nice to see you back in the Hutch Lady!
