Return of the Cruising Bunny's....

Actually Kathie, Subaru owns our Subaru. It’s leased. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile: We have the Outback which I know is also highly rated / regarded.
We’ve seen, or not seen, a decrease in bunny tracks this winter as well.
I shovelled the remaining snow off the back patio this morning and it was dry mid afternoon. Temps here, like Kathie’s, were in the upper 30’s. We managed a walk around The Navy Yard. That could change tomorrow if we get the forecast freezing rain just in time for rush hour.
Have a good evening my friends.

K2, I will have to remember that the subaru forester is the most top rated compact suv. but talking to Fay earlier today she may be thinking about a used car. She still has 5 months to make up her mind, that is if her old Toyoto doesnt' fall apart before that/
I don’t think that we’ve ever had a year that something doesn’t get missed when we tuck Christmas away for another year.
Maybe this will be the year, think positive.

We are both feeling find Lee, thanks for asking.
It was a nice 53 today, will be about the same tomorrow\
Have a good night.

Not much on my ever wandering mind this morning. As usual the weather services are split over this morning’s freezing rain forecast. I hope the just rain forecast prevails.
I think we actually did get all of the decorations put away on the first try Mike. But we don’t put out nearly as many as we used to. Glad to hear you’re all feeling better.
A very good morning to Kathie and Karen as well.

HRISTOS Se RODI.... (Christ is Born)

Christmas Eve here for me. (Serbian Eastern Orthodox)
Tomorrow all the folks that come 2 times a year will be in church! :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

And to all a Good-Night!

Art just spilled a whole cup of black coffee all over the counter area by the stove top! Lordy, it took everything in me not to SCREAM!
And yes, he said he was sorry. I cleaned it up and the cabinets and the pull-out drawers where the coffee seeped into. All clean now

Okay, back to my kitchen. Making a walnut dessert to use up the ground walnuts.

It has been a cloudy day all day today, doesn't make too much difference to me but I do like to see the sun shine. It got up to 55 today so that is a plus Lee
Not a whole lot of anything going on today or was going on. I did write a letter to my high school friend. He asked me once if I knew of any one of our classmates were still living and I don't know.

Merry Christmas Kathie.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas Kathie.
May I suggest that you get Art a nice coffee cup with a lid for Christmas? Poor guy. I bet he felt awful knowing that the coffee went everywhere. And I can’t imagine how you felt trying to find everywhere the coffee had run to get it cleaned up.
It was foggy, overcast and showery all day yesterday here Mike. It got a tick above 40F around dinner time it’s still 37F and most of the snow has disappeared. I’m debating getting a car wash when I fill Subie’s tank today.
It looks like you’ve set the FL thermostat to the low 80’s for our arrival Karen. Thank You.
We cleaned everything out of the fridge that will be no good by the time we get back. Then Lu-Ann gave the inside a real good cleaning. Always easier when it’s pretty much empty. Sheets and towels go in to the laundry today while we pack.
Have a wonderful day everyone.

Thanks for the Christmas wishes.
Mike: Thanks for the Serbian Ornament. Nice of you to find that!

Went to church today and added your names to my prayers. A special prayer for Lee & Lu-Ann for SAFE TRAVELS!

Lee: You won't get any extra points for a freshly washed car. Get it washed when you know you're done with the freeway traffic dust!

Going to dinner with the gang tonight. Jill was in church and said her gang will be able to make it tonight. Works for me.
She and I went to the Pancake Pantry after church. I'm full and most likely will eat lightly tonight.

K2, that is why when I say I'm going to get a cup of coffee fay jumps up and says "I'll get it
Have a good trip Lee and Lu-Ann

Thank you Mike. Did you manage to find any of your old school mates?
Did you discover all of the places the spilled coffee was hiding Kathie? How was that walnut dessert?
Yesterday we gave the house a good tidy and packed the suitcases.
As I mentioned earlier our plan is to be underway about 9:00. Except for our hotel bags and Lu-Ann’s walker everything is packed in the back of Subie. It looks like a cloudy drive with temperatures right around 60F when we get in to Florence, KY this evening. Heading to Morrow. GA on Friday it looks like an overcast drive and right around 70F when we get in.
Anyway, you all have a super day. I’ll check in from the hotel later on this evening.

SAFE TRAVELS LEE & Lu-ANN & AVA.

Hope the FOG isn't a problem for you. Be careful.
Can't wait for the first report.

Hair cut day today. Everyone have a good day.

Good evening.
A quick check in from Florence, KY. The US border agent couldn’t have been nicer. The usual questions but that was it. Followed by a “safe travels” as he handed our passport’s and Ava’s CDC certificate back to us.
A few slowdowns on I75 thanks to construction but all in all a good drive.
We had a passing shower Mike but hardly enough to warrant the wipers.
No fog Kathie but there was a little heavy frost that left the roads a tad slick. Fortunately that disappeared by the time we were just a few minutes from home.
I hope your days have been as good as ours has been. Almost time to head to The 5:30 Kickback as The Drury calls their light buffet dinner.
I’ll see you all from Morrow, GA tomorrow evening.

Thanks for the CHECK - In Lee!
Sounds like you got a good 1st day under your belt.
Hope Ava & Lu-Ann had a good day.

Note:
Lee— It’s going to be 57F here on Friday! Might get some showers. I think you took the COLD with you! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

MIKE:
You might get up over 65F on Friday! Wow! Might have to think about cutting the grass.

Karen: Do you have your house to yourself? How is Barb doing?
And how are you? Up to anything special?

Haircut went well. I was lucky and the Fog burned off before I had to leave.

Art was able to RAKE the top level of our backyard. Got all the “Late FALL” leaves that got covered by the snow cleaned up. Now we just have to wait for the NEXT snow! It will happen. It’s only the beginning of January.:emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

GEORGE/Marie update:
Went there to pick up some leftover food from their Serbian Christmas dinner yesterday. Yum.
George got out of his lounger chair and made it to the kitchen to sit while I helped Marie “slide” his lounger a few inches forward so he could let it go all the way back without hitting a table behind it! Easy move!
He looked a tad tired and his ankles are SO SWOLLEN. Poor circulation big time.
Marie looks like she could use a weeks vacation right about now. All in all a good visit.

You all be good. I’m going to watch the Michigan State Basketball game!

Our temps got up to 57 F at noon’ish! It was TOTALLY WINDY! But the Sun was out while I took down the Xmas lites. They came down fast without any issues.
Christmas is Officially over! :clap002:

Art raked the bottom half of the property of the leaves. Now everything is leaf/free and ready for the next snowfall.

Lee: Hope you had a good travel day. Tell us about it! I BET YOU GOT YOUR SHORTS OUT! Ha ha.

Karen: How’s things in Belleview? Hope all is good. Miss you. 81F by you. NICE

Mike: Are you behaving yourself down there in Ohio?
Give my “ Hello’s to FAY”!

With all these holidays over-with it’s nice to get back to knowing what day of the week it is.
TODAY IT FINALLY FEELS LIKE A FRIDAY!

You all take care.

Temps have started to drop over here. Bummer.

ENJOY!

Good evening.
Finally made it to The Drury in Morrow, GA. What a terrible, long day. It never stopped racing from the time we left Florence until we got about 20 miles north of Atlanta. And not gentle rain. We’re talking car wash intensity rain. Throw in a few fender benders and it wasn’t a drive I’ll be eager to repeat any time soon.
It sounds like you had a very productive day Kathie. Nice for you and Art to be able enjoy a nice day outdoors in January! Yes, I’ll be putting my shorts and golf shirt when we leave here tomorrow morning.
I think Karen has arranged a nicer day to arrive in FL than Mike did for our departure from OH.
Have a good evening everyone.

Karen has SPECIAL WARM TEMPS for your arrival. Enjoy!

Back to watching the Semi-finals Peach Bowl.
Indiana is slamming Oregon !

Fay said Hi back Kathie. With all these holidays over-with it’s nice to get back to knowing what day of the week it is. We are never sure any more.
Temps got up to 65 I think.
Safe trave;s tomorrow Lee, Lu Ann
Have a good night

Tired Good Morning GIF by Susanne Lamb

Well, it's Saturday and I guess I'm going to be talking to myself for a while! DUH! (Mike comes in later in the evening) :emoticon 0115 inlove: Hope Karen can stop by and give us a "Hello"! :emoticon 0115 inlove:

LEE: Hope the drive today is DRY and much warmer for you since you put your "shorts on"! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile: Nice that you will be in a warmer area for the next few months. ENJOY it.

It's cloudy/dreary here this morning and those 60F temps are GONE.
It's now 36F here and who knows how much warmer it will get.
Sure glad those Xmas lights got taken down 'yesterday'! That's the earliest they've ever been taken down. Usually, it's in Feb.

You all have a good day. I come back later to see if anybody joined in to chat!
