Enjoy your lunch, Lee. Always nice to find a new place to dine, especially if the food and the atmosphere are good.
Rita's new RAV4 arrived and is now sitting in our garage. I dropped her off at the dealership around 1:30 yesterday and she was there until nearly 6 pm getting the paperwork completed mostly because our insurance company twice sent the wrong papers to the dealer. In fact I had two calls from the insurance company within a ten minute period, both times giving them permission to add the new car to our policy. When I told the young woman who called that I had spoken to her or someone who sounded like her ten minutes earlier and given permission, she claimed that she hadn't called earlier and did not know who it could have been.
Eventually the correct paperwork got transferred to the dealership and Rita was able to drive home. The time between when she ordered the car and when it arrived at the dealership was less than originally estimated, so we are no longer a one car family and I will be able to drive myself to NH at the end of next week for my fishing trip and not worry that Rita is stranded at home without a car.
Shortly after she arrived home, Kevin and Jamie and the kids stopped by to deliver Rita's birthday card and pick up the anniversary card we had for them. (Both birthday and anniversary occurred while they were away.)
They left and Rita and I decided to go out for dinner since neither of us had eaten since breakfast. We went to a restaurant not far from our house and while we were waiting to be seated, Kevin came over and invited us to join them. Seems we both had the same idea about getting something to eat and ended up at the same place, somewhere that none of us regularly go to. Kismet, I guess.
