Happy Hump-Day, Bunnies! Drat, that means we're 1/2 way through the week.
It's just the beginning of June, not half way through July for crying out loud. But around here those small places that sell annual flowers every year are already closing up shop for the summer. All they're doing now is trying to sell off whatever is left over. I drove by our grocery store yesterday, and the one out in front of it had nothing left but an empty structure.
Hope you are stocking up on Swiffer covers, K2. You are going to go absolutely crazy when construction and destruction starts happening in your kitchen. No way to get around the inevitable dust.
It was light scattered infrequent sprinkles here yesterday. And the neighborhood was deathly quiet in the morning, for a change. But no sooner was I getting used to the sounds of birds, when those backup warning beepers started up again. This time it was a couple of cement trucks. By the end of the day they had poured the floor of the next door neighbor's detached garage and the large patio off the back of the house.
I'm guessing that today they'll pour the cement for the pad for their new shed, and the driveway.
Amazingly, neither of the dogs is phased by all the racket.
