Hi, I'm Chip and my wife and I started cruising in 1992 aboard the Royal Majesty of Majesty Cruise Lines. It's been too long since the last cruise but have a Med, Greek Isles, and British Isles booked. Can't wait to get back.
Hi Chip, I love how you are not messing around and have three booked all at once. Congratulations! I love the conviction. What has been your favorite cruise to date?

I'm Charlie from California's Central Valley. We took our first cruise in 1997 aboard the Sky Princess and have been Princess people ever since. However, we do have a Viking Egypt cruise scheduled for November and an Australian/Papua New Guinea Princess cruise in January. Just came back from two weeks in Tahiti, just to get away. It was odd being there and not being on a cruise.
Hi Charlie (Spikesgirl), Great to see you again. I am jealous! The Viking Eygpt cruise sounds like it will be amazing. Glad to see you have a cruise booked. It's nice to see you really exploring the World and doing some amazing trips. I hope you will share some updates and photos from your cruises?

Howdy, I'm Gina from steamy SE Texas, about 30 miles up the road from Galveston which is our home port. My son and I cruised Disney and Royal a bunch when he was growing up. Such wonderful memories! :emoticon 0115 inlove: Then I got my now-husband hooked a few years ago, and we defected to Carnival for our honeymoon 5 years ago and have sailed them ever since.

Our next one isn't until October (we hate summer with a passion) but it's the next-February one I'm super excited about. My son is booked to come along with us, which marks the first time he and I have been able to cruise together since he went to college then set off into the big wonderful world on his own. It'll be 10 years almost to the day since our last cruise together, and I am just beyond excited about it!!

I had actually kinda forgotten about Cruise Addicts, so thanks John for reaching out to all of us again! I'll make a point to come visit more often! :emoticon 0100 smile:
Hi Gina, Great to see you again. You certainly are located in a great location right near Galveston. The cruise lines are sending some amazing new ships to that port now. I am glad your new husband is also hooked on cruises. What Carnival ship did you book your upcoming cruise on? I am very excited that you and your son will be reunited aboard a cruise again. I think they are just so great for family vacations and get-togethers. We were married aboard a Royal Caribbean ship and many of our guests cruised with us too. It turns out these are some of the best family moments we have in our memories.

You can't forget us! :) I do hope you will return here often, post and comment too much and bring your cruise friends too!

:minion bananas:

Thank you for checking in!

Deanna here from Mansfield, TX (Dallas-Fort Worth area). First cruise was 2003 on Carnival Jubilee. We were hooked. Have sailed mostly Carnival, a couple of Royal Caribbean, 1 Princess, 1 NCL. Latest cruise was May 2022 on NCL Encore to Alaska. Way different from the Caribbean cruises we have always done. Ready to get back to those beaches, though. Haven't been to the Caribbean since 2019.
Hi Deanna, Thank you for checking in. I love how you have had a broad sampling of the different cruise lines. A nice Caribbean cruise can be so enjoyable. I really enjoy visiting Half Moon Cay too! Have you been? Do you have a favorite port or private island?

HI JOHN AND EVERYONE!! I joined as a member here when John decided to open this site . John... do you remember the 2/3 day free cruise we did? It was so much fun and also the wonderful invite to Denise Zlater's house so we met everyone . I kind of miss the camaraderie we all had!

Hello all, I am Daryl and my DW is Zelda. We are recently retired and definitely cruise addicts. Our first cruise was on the big red boat and our most recent on the RCCL Odyssey of the seas. It's great that cruising is getting back to our new normal. We are looking forward to new adventures at sea.

Hi! I'm Judy from Ohio. We took our first cruise in 1998 and have sailed at least once a year since. Our preferred line is Celebrity. we cruised last in January to the southern Caribbean and are scheduled for an Alaska cruise for next June. We were supposed to cruise the Med., Greek Isles but the ship was moved to the Caribbean darn it so now we're looking where/what we want to do now. this will be our second cruise to Alaska coming up and we think we will do another Asia cruise in the fall to replace the Greek isles.

Hello, it's been a while since I have been here. I live on the south coast of the UK, 20 miles from the Southampton port.

I started cruising in 2011, and mostly cruise solo. Most of my cruises have been with Royal Caribbean, but I have cruises a number of other cruise lines. My next trip is a round trip out of Southampton to France and Spain. I will be experiencing Azamara for the first time in September, so that is exciting.

I managed 5 short cruises in 2021, and sailed on Grand Princess in March this year. I managed to catch covid on the cruise!

Doug from Roatan, Honduras. Been cruising with my wife since 2002 and discovered our current home of 9 years via cruising. We've been on over 20 cruises and our favorite line is Holland America. Our favorite cruise destination (now) is anywhere but the Caribbean, haha!

Hi. I’m Sandra from Lytham St Annes in the UK. We are retired & have been cruising since around 2007 and made some fantastic memories along the way. We have cruised with Royal Caribbean, P & O, Princess, Holland America, Regent Seven Seas, and the now defunct CMV. Our next cruise will be on the American Queen Steamboat next April, sailing from New Orleans to Memphis - due to Covid, this will hopefully be third time lucky. Having sailed or done land tours throughout the world over the years, we both agree that our top two holidays have been cruises -1. Alaska 2. South Africa. Who knows whether our trip up the Mississippi will beat these. Going to enjoy trying though. For me, cruising is not just about the places you visit, it’s just as exciting to make new friends - some of whom we are still in contact with many years after meeting.

Wishing you all the very best of times as cruising opens up for us. Enjoy making memories & safe journeys for everyone.

Linda from New York here. First cruise was on the Cunard Countess back in 1986 with my friends when I was young and single. LOL Have sailed on Carnival, Disney, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Princess. Now sail with the hubby, two sons, and usually a big gang of family and friends. My travel agent and his family even sail with us now!

Sure have missed cruising! Next up Carnival Radiance on 6/27 and NCL Pride of America on 8/20. British Isles cruise planned in 2023 and back to Alaska in 2024.

First time posting, I've lurked a long time. I'm Sharon from Catonsville, MD. We've been cruising since 1994-our first was with our kids on the defunct American Family Cruises. We are about to take our 15th cruise in a month-we will be taking a 21 day land and sea tour, ending with cruising on the Celebrity Edge (was suppose to be the Apex in 2020 and 2021) on a Med cruise. Going to see how this one goes, but hopefully we will be planning another one soon!

Hello! I'm from the east coast and have taken a total of 5 cruises on 3 different lines. I first appeared on this site over... gosh, maybe 20 years ago. My last cruise was to Alaska on the Coral Princess before COVID. Haven't cruised since.
