HONEY, I SHRUNK THE FONT. Oh wait, that was “the kids”. A Disney film that starred Rick Moranis and Marcia Strassman.
Sometimes I find that after I pop a gif or picture in a post the font gets smaller for no apparent reason Kathie.
That’s sad for the people who shop at JoAnn’s and sadder still for all of the people who are out of work.
Sadly, lunch today was just OK. I should have stuck with the 1/2 Cuban 1/2 1905 salad but I had a traditional dish from Tampa’s Ybor City. One quarter chicken baked with yellow rice, green peppers, onions, tomatoes, spices and extra-virgin olive oil.
I’ll check back later to see if we hear from any of our other friends.

lee, We saw that movie at Disney years ago. Also saw where a lot of mice ran off the edge of the stage, then little by little the crowd in front of us and working to the back were screaming. There was some sort of air pressure feeling like something running over our feet. Some time in the movie the dog sneezes and a the audience was sprayed. Managment said they have never seen the people leaving the show laughing as hard as this show.

Not much on my mind this morning. It’s as foggy as the start to the day.
Disney used to have a lot of those family friendly fun attractions Mike. Now everything is turning in to a thrill ride. We don't and never have enjoyed thrill rides.
What’s the word on Hansel Karen?
I was never a fan of McDonald‘s coffee Kathie. Then it was rumoured that when Timmie’s changed their blend a few years back, McD’s switched to Timmie’s old blend. “Coffee Wars” ahead of their time.
How are you and Kathi doing Dave?
You all do your best to make today a good one.

Dreary here up North this morning and the weather folks are predicting RAIN this afternoon!
One report is RAIN and another is SNOW! Pick your poison.

DAVE/KATHI: Thinking of you two and hoping today is a good or better day. Lots must be going on your way. We're all here for you two big time. Take care.

I'm off to get ready to go 35-40 mins to get my hair cut!
Art is going to go get a HAIRCUT today too! I often wonder how long it would take the man to go and get a haircut if I didn't NUDGE him to go? (I really don't want to find out)

Good morning! Bright sunny start to the day here for a change, cool but I'll take sun & cool over warm & grey!

Mike, the computer gremlins just love messing with the font sometimes, don't let it bother you, happens to all of us

Kathie, enjoy the hair cut! Jane cut mine a couple weeks ago, but with the dry weather we've been having it's a mess. I have a real little rascals cowlick going on in the back that no amount of hair spray will keep down!

Lee, I was still snoozing when you posted this morning, probably why I missed the fog. Not really a fan of any fast food coffee, unless it's real timmies delivered to my hotel in Niagara Falls, Ca Still remember the great winery tour you & LuAnn took me on that day!

Dave, hoping you & Kathi are just taking it easy, getting as much rest as possible. I know you said you had several Dr. appts this week so I know how tiring that can be. Sending prayers!

Hansel seems to be doing better. I went with Jane to the vet yesterday & they suspect he had a bout of pancreatitis. They are putting him on a homemade food diet for a month, along with some supplements & other meds to calm down his little digestive system. He's also had a heart murmur for some time that is beginning to progress so they have started him on meds for that. It's a lot for Jane to handle right now, but she like all of us pet parents will do whatever it takes to get him back to good health again!

The last I looked the temperature was 63 degrees, I can take that for Feb.
I'm glad Hansel is doing better Karen, hopefully all of the meds he is taking it will get him back in shape. I threatened to kick my computer if it didn't get back on the straight and narrow, seems to be working.
K2, I''m with Art. When the dog catcher is staring at me I know it is time to get a haircut.
Lee, when I was much younger the carnivals would come along with their thrill rides, nothing like the big thrill rides that are in the amusement parks. I always enjoyed them. Fay doesn't care for any carnival rides, not even the merry go rounds. I loved the movie Honey I Shrunk the Kids, saw it at Disney.
Dave, I hope you are doing okay and resting.

I’d love to join you in a coffee Mike. I just don’t know if I can wait long enough for our Kathie to figure out how the machine works. I remember my Mom gettin’ on me when she thought I needed a haircut. She’d tell me I looked like “The Shaggy Dog”. Another good old movie.
Karen, Hansels’ conditions sound so much like some of the pups we have loved. Even Ava is on a vet diet that’s easy on her tummy. If we see her showing any signs of discomfort we give her “Forta Flora” which adds extra probiotics to her system. I remember that day in The Falls with fondness Karen. You should see all of the wineries we have in and around Amherstburg!
Thanks for the reminder Kathie. Have you been told today... Actually the nice folks at our beloved Drury in Atlanta sent a “looking forward to seeing you” email this morning. My choice would be rain over snow any day.
We’ve got our food to the point that, allowing for breakfast at The Kona Cafe tomorrow morning, we have just enough to get us through to dinner on Friday. Saturday will start with breakfast at Panera Bread as we hit the 429 towards The Florida Turnpike and I75 to begin our trip north.
And lastly, just after I send out thoughts and hugs to both Dave and Kathi, this little ditty.

Just hot through binge watching the first season of
“Reacher“. It was good story line. It was free, which made it better. Nos to see season 2.

Suppose to rain on and off on Thursday. Beats snow any day.

Good morning Bunnies.
One more piece of our Florida Farewell Tour falls in to place today. Breakfast at The Kona Cafe. Yesterday we did a little wander and people watching at The Springs. We had a nice lunch at The Polite Pig. Hard to think that this could be our last trip down.
Alan Ritchson makes a way better Reacher than Tom Cruise did Kathie. Far more like the character author Lee Child described in the books. When we watched it we thought that it looked familiar. That’s because in and around Toronto doubled as the town in Georgia!
Hope our Dave is feeling a tad better. I suspect the stress and all of the hospital and doctor visits just wore his immune system down. Tough on Kathi too.
I should feed Ava so we have time to walk her, again, before we head out. Funny, when we first got here she was always gung ho to go for a walk. Now, after 8 weeks on her lead she’s like, “no, go ahead without me”.
You all enjoy your day, stay safe and smile at a stranger. It’ll make them wonder what you’re up to.

It's TOTALLY GLOOMY here this morning. Supposed to rain. At least the snowbanks are staring to shrink down a bit.
Good day to make a batch of Biscotti's. They're our favorite with a cup of good coffee. (as opposed to horrible coffee)
Lee: How neat to know that movie was filmed in certain parts of Toronto. I'm going to work on finding how to watch Season 2 today.
I don't seem to have much to chat about this morning, so I won't bore you folks any longer.

Nothing much to gab about here either, still thinking of Dave & Kathi and praying they will get his meds & whatever else straightened out so he will start getting better.

Watched a mama cardinal enjoying a bath in the bird bath in my front flower bed this morning, papa cardinal must have been finding bugs or something in the gutters as he was popping in & out of them for quite a while. First time I've actually seen a bird using the bird bath.

Mopped the floors in the kitchen, dining & great room just waiting on them to dry now.

Will pop back later to see if there is any news on Dave

One thing you can’t put a price on is how this group cares about each other. How often we pop on to check on each other. In under 30 minutes yesterday Kathi let us know about Dave and pretty much everyone had been by to see if there was any news. You can’t put a price or make this stuff up folks. Love you guys!
Cardinals are associated with loved ones coming to say “hi” Karen. No, I’m not making that up.
I checked our Ring doorbell camera Kathie and most of the snow is gone there too. I’m pleased to say all the snow here is gone. I recognized one of the spots in Reacher Kathie. Sure enough, it was the spot I thought and we had been to in Toronto. Did you know Alan Ritchson met his wife at dance class in college? BALLET dance class! And I’m not making that up either.
Is this the weekend The Tierney’s (forgive me if I got their names wrong) are visiting Mike? Enjoy your time with them.
Why, look at that. It’s three o’clock eastern, wine time where we are.

Lee, Yes we are expecting the Tierneys this weekend. We should get a call from them today that they will be coming over. We havent seen them for a while and we have missed them.
Karen, since we quit feeding t he birds we seldom see them or the squirrels. Fay used to enjoy the chicadees and I liked most others.
How did your biscotti's turn out K2? I bet they were very good.
I is very cloudy in the west and the sun is shining above us, temps are pretty nice but it is supposed to fall.

3:34 pm and proud to be part of this extended family.
DITTO on all Lee said about us. I‘ve mentioned our group to some of
my friends and they just don’t get how close a group we are. Heck, on most days I’ve talked to all of you more than my own familY! REALLY.
I still think about the extended family we’ve lost through the years.
