Good afternoon, a morning without a post from Dave is never a good sign! Lit a candle for you in church this morning & asked for prayer for you, I'm hoping you are just resting & catching back up after your surgery & hospital visits.
Need some prayers for Jane's dog Hansel too, he's not been eating well lately & having some digestive issues. She took him to the vet a couple times & they did blood work which didn't really show anything. Checked him for worms & parasites, none and started him on special food. He was doing a little better but today he was not eating so she took him to the emergency vet, as far as I know they didn't find out anything specific either so she will take him to her regular vet again Tues. He will be 14 next month, so she is pretty worried about him.

I think we are all worried about Dave again Karen but didn’t want to say anything. Thank you for “talking to The Big Guy” about Dave. Most of us have been through pets getting old. Our thoughts are with Jane and Hansel.

Thanks for the get well card, Lee. Hope it helps in my recovery. My pneumonia has dropped my oxygen levels. May need a boost in my antibiotics.

Be still my heart…,,,We got a post from Dave! Hang in there buddy, do your breathing exercises with that plastic gizmo. I’m sure you must have one on hand. JUST DO It! And drink lots of water for all kinds of reasons. Squeeze some lemon juice or fresh squeezed orange wedges into a big glass or a jug of water.
What's the name of the hospital you frequent?? Is it far from your house? Just wondering.

Morning already. Where the heck did last night go?
Seems Ava is the smart one. It’s raining and she hasn’t stirred for her morning walk.
There was a day when Lu-Ann and I would have headed to one of the Disney parks because they wouldn’t be as busy. A couple of factors at play now. At the cost of a day at Disney I want darned fine weather. And, unless I’m in a pool, I’m getting too old to get wet and call it fun!
Safe travels to Jill and Mark Kathie. It’s always easier to pack up and come home when it’s a bit of a crummy weather day.
How’s little Hansel doing today Karen? And how is Jane doing? B
Any big plans for this week Mike?
How many medical appointments do you have scheduled this week Dave? I hate to say it but even though musk was born in South Africa, because his mother is Canadian he holds Canadian citizenship too. Kinda like the birthright thing t-rump has suspended. Anyway, two of our members of parliament have started a petition to be presented to our government to revoke his Canadian citizenship. Over 15000 signatures, ours included, in a couple of days. Never underestimate the power and will of a group of generally peaceful people.

Lee, I wish the USA could get enough signatures to revoke lil t from office but I have little hope of that ever happening, our leaders in congress are to afraid of a "mean tweet" from the little man to ever stand up to him
Kathie, yep we were down 5 choir members again yesterday, poor Brian is about ready to tear his hair out trying to find anthems that we can sing with such a small group. Not an easy task either since he has no hair left TO tear out.

An e-petition in Canada requires 500 signatures to even be considered Kathie. Since Friday the petition is over 200,000. Yep, you’re reading that right!
We’ve had an all day rain here too Karen. I must be turning into a Floridian. 66F and I’m in jeans and a hoodie! Good for you going with Jane and Hansel. I always hated trips to the vet with an aging dog.
Antibiotics kicking in Dave? ”the Buffoon, and his little monkey”. I got a chuckle out of that. I’m picturing the little monkey sitting on the buffoon’s shoulder picking ticks out of his hair!
We witnessed nature at its best and cruelest today. While walking Ava I spotted a beautiful eagle circling one of the gardens in our community. Then it swooped down and headed back skyward with a struggling squirrel in its’ talons. The circle of life in the wild I suppose.
We have lunch booked at Columbia in Celebration tomorrow. We’re looking forward to that.

Mike: We had a drippy thaw going on in our “Gutters” today. Nice to see the long icicles falling off. It would be nice if temps would stay in the 48F degee area, but it’s not going to last.
STILL NO WORD ON OUR BOY DAVE. My gut says he might be back in the hospital.

Due to how I feel now decides when I post. Can't count on being awake early in the morning anymore.
Looks like 3 doctor visits this week and 2 visits here by medical people.

The name of the best local hospital we use is Aultman. Less than a half hour from here.
No laptop or smart phone, just the big computer under the computer desk.
Time to get ready to watch Rachel Maddow.

Good morning.
Clouds right now are supposed to give way to sunny skies.
Funny how pets react when their owners get home after being away for a bit. Hopefully Manny gave Jill and Mark a very enthusiastic welcome. Lu-Ann had a nice chat with Donna yesterday. We both thank you for guiding us to that connection.
Ava and I saw so many bunnies on our early walk I thought I was in a Playboy Club! Are there any of those still around?
Keeping little Hansel, Jane and of course you Karen in our thoughts today.
Dave, Kathie nailed it. A post when you feel like it is OK by me.
Cookies, cake, pie? What has been the treat of preference this week Mike? They gave us stroopwafels at the run last week. Two very thin cookies held together with, in this case, a thin layer of honey. You’re supposed to sit them on top of your coffee cup and the heat from the beverage softens the filling.
All that talk about coffee has made me thirsty. Is 60F warm enough to sit out? I guess I’ll find out.

Good Mid-morning Wrabbits.
Talking about COFFEE. I just spent the last 45 mins trying to figure out why the K-Cup part of the coffee maker wasn't working. Made a lot of noise but wasn't getting but a few drops of coffee from it. We hardly ever use that feature, so I kept trying to figure it out. Couldn't find the instruction booklet that might have helped me.
Last try was to slide a TOOTHPICK HEAD through the sharp point that punctures the K-Cup. Well low and behold that worked! Must have had a grain of coffee ground stuck in it.
The K-Cup McDonald brew was just okay. I prefer the full brew from the other side of the coffee make.
SUNNY, BRIGHT and not windy today. 47F Works for me.
Art is on his 1st bike ride in months. He's taking it slow and said he would only go around the big park paths, but I really don't believe him. Once he's there with all the other bikers he'll go on the dirt roads! I'll have to wait and see what he actually did.
Lee: Nice to know Lu-Ann and Donna R had a good chat. Donna is such a giving kind person. Hope it was helpful for Lu-Ann.
