Good evening, trying to play catch up with my posting here but not sure I can remember all the chatter you guy's have been having, nice for reading, not so nice for remembering!

Kathie, I got your recipe & it sounds interesting, I may give it a try for one of our midsummer potlucks when everyone likes cool & light foods. I talked to my friend Tom yesterday & turns out he had the same kind of eyelid surgery you had, get this, On the SAME day!

Dave, sometimes I think you make up weird food combinations just to see how freaked out we all get. So do you have a new ETA for the new fridge or is it still a waiting game?

Pat, sure hope Bert get's to feeling better soon, pulled muscles are no fun to wait on healing. Yep, we have a community potluck the 4th Tues. of every month. Guess it's one of the better perks of living in a small community.

Lee, I'd also like to book your window cleaning services, I "think" I may have cleaned my windows & sliding glass door when I moved in 6 yrs ago and maybe my door a time or 2 after that, but the windows not so much. And I really have no excuse not to wash them since I only have 2 windows!

Bill, may the casino gods smile on you this weekend & fill your pockets with many coins. Enjoy your visit to Cape Cod too!

I did make it to the potluck last night, but the menu changed & I made beef & noodles instead of baked spaghetti. Tom had called me in the afternoon & wanted me to list a curio cabinet he has on Facebook marketplace to try & sell it. So I went over & took pictures & visited for a while. Once I got home I was running a little short on time so it was noodles, hamburger & cream of mushroom soup casserole instead. Must not have been to bad as it all got ate. It started to rain lightly just as I was getting ready to leave the house so I drove down to the clubhouse instead of walking like I usually do. Only 20 people for dinner this month, but we still had a nice time & plenty of food to eat.
Wednesday mornings at church they have the Feast of the Saint Day service so I decided to go today & see what I could learn. I also turned in my paperwork to join the church. It was an interesting little short service that talks about different founders & missionaries in the Episcopal church.
Then this afternoon Barb, Jane & I picked up some bbq sandwiches & spent some time in the pool before the clouds & wind chased us out. It's rained some here off & on all afternoon but we need it so I won't complain to much.
Have a good evening all!

Lee: Eyes have sunglasses on big time in this WIND. We got a lot of gardening done around here today. And the weather folks said to WATCH OUT FOR POSSIBLE FROST.
Just glad we didn’t plant everything today. A few sheet will cover the front area plants. I don’t want to take any chances. Hey, it’s Michigan and later next week it will be close to 85-90f.

Tina led a wild and crazy life. I wasn’t much of a fan. Couldn’t stand her weird hairdos.

We have a lot of Royalty in the hutch with all those Crowns.

Waiting for our dinner to get done. SOON!!

Later gang.
I need to go back and read some of the posts I missed.

Karen: Glad you got the recipe message! Nice to know that works to communicate with you.
So did TOM HAVE RACCOON EYES? Ha ha.

Kathie, Nope, if he hadn't told me he'd had the surgery I would have never noticed. When he took his glasses off to show me I could see some slight bruising on the top of his eye lids but that's about it.
I may have sold his curio cabinet for him, there is a lady supposed to come tomorrow at 3:30 to look at it.

Well got a shot in the middle finger middle joint and a shot in the base of the index finger. Dr said the main problem with the index finger looks to be that it is a trigger finger and not arthritis. so both fingers are numb and will be until about 8 pm. I go back June 8 to get shot in the base if the index finger on the left hand.

Since the fingers are numb I ordered pizza for dinner. There is no way I can use either finger for much of anything until the numbness wears off and that won't be until about 8:30 or so. Can tell it is starting to wear off as both fingers are getting tingly. So the salad will be tomorrow night.

All have a good night.

Good morning. Well the index finger is still numb, though not as number as yesterday, so it has been 18 1/2 hours. My left side neck, upper back and arm started aching last night, so had Bruce rub some of the gel on. Wil have to tell them at PT later.

We had rain over night early this morning. Definitely don't have to water anything.

All have a great day.

Ooops.........don't know how that one picture posted so HUGE! Sorry about that gang!

Good Morning from PURE "cold" MICHIGAN! It's now up to 50F and sunny. And this too will pass! Just not fast enough.

Going to get the Corsair a Oil change this morning. I had the option of them coming to the house and picking up my car and dropping off a loaner. REALLY! I don't think so. The dealership is 12 mins tops from our house and I'll be happy to just wait for it. I get to use Lincoln Points to cover the charge of the oil change and tire rotation. In years past it was free, but they stopped doing that last year! Sure glad I don't have to pay out of pocket is all I can say.

DAVE: Missed your morning greeting. Hope you're just resting after your 5:00 a.m. wake up.

The rest of you Wrabbits have a good day. Hopefully, by the time I get back from the dealership it will be WARMER and I can get the deck flower boxes planted. Later gang.

Good morning! Slightly less chance of rain later, but with Florida, you just don't know when or how much that might be.

Can't stay on the computer too long this morning. Our friends are coming over shortly after lunch for a bit of chit chat. He's a retired doctor, so I plan to pick his brain about Bert's injury. It is getting better, but he just doesn't handle pain well at all.

Well, it's official - The a-hole is running for president. Loved hearing about all the problems they had. Elon isn't as smart as he likes to make people think he is. Can't wait for all the back and forth between lil t and Meatball Ron! Fire up the popcorn maker. The show is about to start!!

I was really sad to hear about Tina Turner's passing. I really liked her music and envied her ability to dance and move, even as she got older.

Time to run. Hi to all the bunnies and if I get a chance, I'll drop back later.

Good afternoon from beautiful Downtown Amherstburg where the temperature is a balmy 61F under sunny skies. Yep, 61F.
Hopefully you got a chance to see what the retired Doc thinks about Bert's strain Pat. With those two clowns vying for the nomination for the GOP perhaps, just perhaps, someone with some common sense, compassion and diplomacy will sneak in the back door and challenge for the roll. I also believe in Santa, The Easter Bunny, The Tooth Fairy (can I still call that individual that in FL?) and so on.
Kathie, I still picture a Corsair as the American Fighter plane that saw service in WWII and Korea. I have to remind myself that it's now a member of the Ford Family of Fine Automobiles. What freebies will they toss at you today for taking it in? I rather liked the life-size Kermit The Frog. While he didn't voice Kermit, the voice of Miss Piggy and others, Frank Oz, turned 79 today.

Since the fingers are numb I ordered pizza for dinner.
How'd you dial the phone Nancy? Oh come on now. You must know me well enough by now that if I see and opening I'm going to take it.
OK
Karen, you're on the list for windows. I think that's neat that Tom touched base and you were able to help him list his cabinet. Good call, under threatening skies, to drive to the clubhouse. I think that it's nice that the church takes the time to give perspective members a little background.
Yes, hopefully Dave was up early with the pups and simply went back to bed. Then like the rest of us retired people, his day just filled up with stuff. Good stuff.
You all have a great evening and we'll see you at some point tomorrow.

Good evening.

To order the pizza I used the computer and ordered on line with Uber, they actually deliver from the place we like. So I was able to use fingers from either hand.

Well at PT I first had a massage, then manipulation, then heat and while that was on did two exercises using a band, then to the hand bike with ice then home and that was all almost a full hour. As soo as I got home I put the heating pad on and have used it twice, so neck is feeling a bit better. I also took a Flexeril and that has helped, I will take another on at bed time. I will also have Bruce rub some gel on.

Made antipasto salad for dinner and put Balsamic Dressing on and it was real good. I will be doing that again.

We have had some rain but not much.

All have a good night.

Good Friday morning Wabbits!

I didn't post yesterday morning because I just didn't feel well. A bunch of nothing, as most whining is made up of.

I'm wondering why there's so many posts showing up that you need to click on it just to see all of it. At least it's that way on this computer.

I guess you really are pleased with that church to now become a member, KC. Oh yea....June 6th is the date the new frig should show up.

You don't like any kind of pickles, Bill? Heck, Kathi even puts Dill pickle relish into her deviled-eggs.

It's interesting that you posted a picture of a raccoon, K2. Just the other night Kathi was awoken by the pooches to go outside, in the middle of the night. And guess what had snuck inside the white fence? A baby raccoon. Luckily, they just stared at each other. But it was quite an effort to get the dogs back inside the house. The next time they went out the little baby had gotten out of there.

Any good advice from the retired doctor, BB? It sure sucks to have your Governor.

I don't know why Lee, but I was surprised that you weren't a big Tina Turner fan.

Grocery shopping day. Not surprising that our grocery list has greatly shrunk since we only have a miniature frig at the moment.

Good morning It's another one of those days where I can't hang around too long. I've got a cardiologist appointment. I sure hope he's going to let me get rid of this battery pack I've had hanging around my neck for 7 weeks now. I can only hope ...

Bert really didn't get into much conversation with the doctor beyond being told to take it easy and that this will take time for the pain to go away. e had a really terrible night's sleep last night and was up and down all night. He said the leg was really bothering him.

Lee - The Tooth Fairy is a no-no in Florida any longer. Falls under that Don't ay Gay law that you can't talk about things like fairies from kindergarten through high school graduation. After you graduate, you can learn the truth!

Dave - I hope you feel better today than you did yesterday. Happy shopping.

I use a wireless keyboard and I think mine is dying. Suddenly, it doesn't want to type certain letters and symbols. Might just have to break down and buy a new one. I've actually worn the letters off some of the keys. I'm getting frustrated now, so I'm going to get off here and get ready to leave for the doctor's office. Then hopefully, we're going to make a run to Sam's.

Be back later, I hope.

Good morning. Just back from Winn Dixie to get country ribs, BOGO and one pack of T-bones to make cheese steak subs.

Yesterday took two Flexeril pills and woke this morning without much pain on the left side, so that is good. Still some but not enough to take anymore pills.

Pat, muscle strains take longer to heal, it will be a few weeks before Bert is better. He may want to see about getting pain pills for it.

All have a great day.

Good Afternoon! Wow.... is was morning just a tad bit ago! And IT'S FRIDAY ALREADY AGAIN! Geez. :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

DAVE: It's okay to take a break and rest up when not feeling well. Scary about the Racoon in the yard. We get critters coming up from the creek and if I had a night cam on I would most likely never walk around the yard again from what I would see! Ha Ha

Dave posted: It sure sucks to have your Governor.
Well DAVE.... it's going to SUCK even more if that MORON becomes President. Lord help us. As much as folks don't like Pres Biden, I'd take him for 4 more years in a heartbeat. He speaks in complete sentences and doesn't call others horrible NICK-NAMES. Not sure how much more of all this political crap my blood pressure can handle. I've stopped watching the big evening news channels. CNN, MSNBC, etc. Never turn on Fox. Just got to get away from all the news. Our local news starts and ends with who got SHOT, RAPED or KICKNAPPED. It's horrible. I don't want to hear it.

BB: I feel badly for BERT. He's not one that has been sick in almost all the years I've known him. And that's over 2 decades already. Tell him to fill the tub with nice warm water and throw in a 1/2 box of Epsom Salts. That stuff does help muscle aches. Have one of the family members buy some if you don't have it in the house. All the best to him from ME.

It's still a TAD chilly in the shade around here, but NOT A CLOUD in the SKY. Such a pretty BLUE COLOR.

I'm off to plant 2 tomato plants and some Basil seeds and what's leftover from yesterdays Petunias. It's killing me NOT to plant the usual amount of beautiful flowers around here, but Art and I told ourselves we were NOT going to slaves watering 2 times a day all Summer this year. Dragging hoses to the front and winding them back up is not my idea of fun anymore. Yup, getting old! Ha Ha.

Lee: If you got down to Navy Park this morning I bet it was nice with the blue skies. Could be a tad warmer. Next week everyday will be warmer and then actually too hot when it hits 85-90F. But we need to enjoy it because before we know it we will be picking our Pumpkins for the front porch decorations!

Enjoy your day Wrabbits. Come back and tell us about it.

Thought I'd pop by and say "Hi". Today is Lu-Ann's birthday. We headed out to Kingsville, about 40 minutes south, for lunch. The Greyhound Gang is popping over shortly with birthday cupcakes.
Hope you're feeling better today Dave. We all get those kind of days, don't we? Ya, I don't know why Tina didn't rate higher on my list of favourite musicians. Racoon vs Dog doesn't usually end well for at least one of them!

It was nice down at The Navy Yard Kathie. The Parks folks were out in full force planting their annuals. Yes, the skies were a beautiful blue and the river looked amazing! We even had a couple of freighters going up and down either side of Boblo.
Has it really been 7 weeks with the battery pack Pat? I hope all went well and the only batteries you need to worry about are the ones in your key board. Like others said, a strain is often worse to deal with than a break. It must be driving Bert crazy trying / having to take it easy all the time.
Is The CocoCola 600 this weekend Nancy? It strikes me that it's always around Indy and F1's Monaco. A big weekend for fans of all three types of racing!
Don't look now Bill. Your Celtics are not out of it yet!
How's tricks in your community Karen?

That really is sad, I knew him personally.

HUH?
Anyway gang, have a good one. The OGC's, like The Avengers, are assembling tomorrow at 08:00 to get a good whack done on Linda's shed. After coffee and muffins of course. So...I'll see you at some point.
In the meantime you all have a fantastic evening and a great day tomorrow.

Not sure who it is, but the person could at least announce themselves.

Got the last of the planting done and I must say I'm so HAPPY I didn't buy the
usual 4 flats of Annuals this year along with other things. Whew. I'm getting smarter in my old age.

Out of here. Have a good evening all.

And try and remember TOMORROW is SATURDAY already! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

My computer is acting up. It's very SLOW to bring up my HOME PAGE. I've had to do
RE-START a few times. Sure hope this clears up.
