Return of the Cruising Bunny's....

I thought it was supposed to be cooler today. It already felt like 88F with the humidex when Ava and I went out this morning.
Dinner looked pretty darned good Kathie! And he’s, it was just ugly weather wise yesterday. There wasn’t even a breeze down by The River.
Nice to get a visit from your grandson Mike.
I spent the better part of the day on the phone with Bell “discussing” our mobile rate plans which expire next month. I looked online and got some plans and prices. I called Bell and spoke to the “loyalty ambassador”. Not happy, I upped the game and asked to speak to her supervisor. All three sources had different plans and in some cases different rates for the same plan! After some back and forth we finally got the plan we wanted at a price we were happy with. Such a silly dance and waste of my time and theirs.
I’m gonna go put in that brighter light bulb over the hutch door like Kathie asked to see if it’ll help Karen find her password and us.
Have a good day my friends and stay cool.

Good Mid-Morning.

Mike hope you and Fay had a good visit with your Grandson.

I got to read a chapter of my book and have coffee and an English muffin on the deck this morning. Fantastic out there for a change.
A Hummingbird was on the deck flower boxes and flew over to the middle of the table where I was sitting. Such an amazing bird! FAST!

Right now I’m sitting in the waiting room of the Dermatologists office. I’m getting a full body exam that is WAY OVER DUE. Like decades.

Always something.

Lee: thanks for putting in a new stronger bulb. I think Karen could just create a new Password. Duh!!

Okay I just got called back. This should TAKE FOREVER!
Getting in a room doesn’t mean you’ll be seen any time soon!

Later gang. Have a nice day.

That was fast K2. Nice thing about beans, they are easy to grow and there is a lot of them.
Fay said there are 3 or 4 tomatoes turning, We will have to pick them before the squirrels do.
Lee, years ago we got tickets for a flight that was very good. They kept changing the route and time of the flight. Finally we told they we couldn't do their time, the lady on the other end of the p;hone checked our schedule and gave us our original flight. The games people play. Our hibisbus do the same thing. One bush of crepe myrtle is looking very nice.
Enjoy the rest oof the day.

I wrote n here and know I pushed the reply button. It is nowhere to be seen. Maybe i'm not hitting it hard enough. It is a nice warm 93 outside. I did sit outside for 30 minutes or so. Our timps are supposed to get down to 78 tomorrow. Fay is happy, our friends are happiy, I'm not.
our hibiscus are doing t he same thing Lee. Our crepe myrtle are looking very good.
One nice things about green beans, K2, they are easy to grow and there is a lot of them.

Okay, I will enlarge the print and make sure I push the post reply button.
I see my original post came up and posted, not pushing the post button hard enough probably

This should TAKE FOREVER!
Apparently “forever” by the times on your posts is 55 minutes Kathie. ;) It was already too hot to sit out here this morning. Friends called and we all went for coffee at a little shop in LaSalle, just up the way.
Our hibiscus plants are just loaded today Mike. They are the huge dinner plate varieties. We have rain in tomorrow’s forecast with a high feeling like the mid 80’s. About 20 degrees cooler than today.

DROPS.... not bad right now at 7:29 pm. Time will tell.

Well, the good news is that it’s cooled down and is only 63F here this morning. The other good news is that it is pouring and expected to do so through 1:00 pm. The bad news, for Ava, is no early walks today! Not much of a day for our 40 minute drive to Colasanti’s to meet friends for lunch.
How are you folks all doing this morning?
We need to bring back Allen Ludden to sit with our Karen and utter his iconic “and the password is…”. A throwback to the game shows back in the day.
Hate to run but my coffee is ready.
You all have a great Thursday!

Good Morning GIF
Hi there Wrabbits.

Lee: Bummer on NO WALK for little Ava this morning.
We got some rain late last night, but it's just a drip, drip and all but stopped
over here at 9:15 am.
We had ALL the windows open last night and this morning had to close a few of them. How fast we go from complaining about 100 degree temps and getting into the 68 temps. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

Art is NOT biking this morning. The trails and paths will be full of mud holes.

I'm going to take back the library book sometime this morning. It was a good ending of series 2 book. Now to wait for the 3rd and last of this trilogy to come out in November. Who knows how long it will take to get into the library!

You all have a good day. I started another book, and it looks like it's a perfect day to curl up and read.

It has been a cloudy and cool day today, just an ugly looking day. neither Fay or I have had the Tv on so we dont know what is going on in the world, mavbe we are better off.
How was your coffee Lee? Our hibiscus plant is 30-40 years old and has been moved 3 or 4 times. Fay looked out and said a new blossom just came out. I think that is the first time that has happened that a flowere came out in the afternoon,
I hope this book is as good as the last K2.
I think the last book I read was the Shining. I used to read a lot of Westerns.
You all have a good evening.

Happy Friday and Happy August! Wow, where did July go?
I needed a light jacket here this morning. When Ava and I went out it was 57F. Quite a change from the days all last month that started out in the 70’s.
We had a nice lunch of “broasted chicken” at Colasanti’s yesterday. Both Lu-Ann and I brought a piece home. The best part though, as it usually is, was the company.
Kathie, you sound like Lu-Ann when it comes to reading books. She downloads them on her iPad and iPhone so she can read them anywhere. She does prefer a good old fashioned hard cover or paperback but the online books she gets are usually a lot less expensive.
I’m sure our hibiscus flowers open anytime Mike. Likely even at night as there always seems to be more each morning. I‘m sure that could have to do with the heat we saw in July. We planted ours five years ago. Every spring after we tidy the garden I wonder if it will come back but it does.
I think I’ll be able to get the lawnmower out today and tomorrow. We seem to be expecting cooler temperatures for a couple of days.
Today is PD drumfit with Lu-Ann so I know where I’ll be mid day.
I hope everyone has a fantastic day.

A beautiful day here in The Burg. After my note this morning I went out back while it was still really cool and picked up 72 hibiscus blooms that had fallen. That was from mid day Wednesday and yesterday. There were more back under the plants that I couldn’t get to! I didn’t get out yesterday because of the rain. And the bushes are loaded again today. The plant must really like the heat. After drum fit we went for coffee with our friends. When we got home I got the weed whacking done and the back yard cut. I’ll do the front tomorrow morning when the shade is on it.
We’re on watering duty for two days for Lisa so we’re going to head over now and tend to that.
I hope that you are all having a great day!

Beautiful Day today!

Art and I went to our local Kroger pharmacy and got caught up on vaccine shots.
Hepatitis A&B for both of us.
Need to go back in a month to get he 2nd part and then 6 months for the final 3rd part.
Then we won’t need another for 10 years! Art said he hopes he still around to
Make sure to get that booster. Ha ha.
He also got a Tetanus booster.

Nice part is that the vaccines were all covered by insurance.

Took the library book back and just need to wait until mid-Nov got the 3rd book of the series to come out.

Smoke Air pollution from our Canadian friends will cause some issues for people with breathing issues on Sat & Sun.
Canada’s way of getting back at the US for Trump adding to the stupid Tariffs. The man is the Devil personified.

we get a lot of our vaccine shots from Krogers and a lot of our meds. Fay picked up one today for me, the total price was over $1000. Thats right 4 zeros. Our cost was zero.
It was a very nice day here also. I sat outside in t he sun and almost fell asleep. Fay had two big boy tomatoes that were getting large, they are now gone, I have loads of grape tomatoes that are still pretty green and small, not too many cherry tomatoes and one volunteer cherry tomato plant.
I like the goodnight and hello august pictures but I'm not too happy with august being here. Just one month less of summer or one month closer to winter. :emoticon 0101 sadsmile:
Lee, how many hibiscus plants do you have and how many different varieties? I bet that those blooms were beautiful, 72 plate sized bright red flowers!!!!!

Sorry about that "Good Night" picture being so HUGE. Yikes.

Mike: When you said the 2 Big Boy tomatoes were now GONE.....did you guys eat them or did the squirrel get them?

And I'm so glad your pharmacy bill was ZERO. At first I thought you actually had to pay the $1000.00 bucks. Whew!

Lee: Good for you guys getting so many hibiscus flowers off of the bush/tree. Our neighbor has a large bush/tree that I can see perfectly from our kitchen window and he gets new beautiful blooms EVERYDAY. And everyday he has just as many fallen ones too. It's amazing how that works.

Okay, there was nothing worth sticking around to watch on the NEWS tonight. Just more shootings. It would be nice if the TV NEWS stations would knock off reporting every single gun shot or murder EVERY NIGHT. A little bit of HAPPY REPORTING would sure be nice in our hard times.

Have a good Saturday everyone. And enjoy the fresh (smoky) air, because soon like Mike said it will be Winter.

A beautiful, sunny 55F start to this Saturday.
Our vaccinations are covered by our Ontario Health Insurance Plan, OHIP as we call it. Our prescriptions cost $4.11 each. Lu-Ann’s one PD drug would be $116.00 every time we refill it!
We have two hibiscus Mike. White with a red center and pink with a red center. Like Kathie said, and I’m sure yours are the same, as fast as they drop another pops out.

I broke off my note to go out and take these. They haven’t full opened for the day but you get the idea. After I feed Ava I’ll go out and pick up / off the old blooms.
We’ll head off to a couple of the local farm markets for some fruit and vegetables a little later this morning. After I tend to the front grass and we get Ava to The Navy Yard for her walk and for Lu-Ann to feed the squirrels.
Have a great and lazy Saturday everyone.
