Return of the Cruising Bunny's....

Good morning. Still some pain but I think I will be able to no go to bed during the day today.

It is a misty rain right now. Had to complain about no paper today. Bruce was outside when the guy came buy and for the three houses right next to each other that get the paper only the first on got one. When ever the renewal comes in I am changing to Wednesday and Sunday only.

Even though we are not football fans we will watch the Super Bowl tonight. I am fixing baked chicken wings.

Everyone have a great day.

Good morning!
Kathie, I do know a few people who would have gladly taken those cupcake cookies off your hands....just saying...I bet they would even ship well too...
No change in eye doctors, but they have multiple offices & are no longer doing the field vision test in the office I usually go to, so I had to go to the other office...
Dave, glad the seat arrived as promised & even better your hiney is more comfy on the ride!
Went to Publix this morning to pick up some things I needed to make my loaded potato soup...and surprisingly they were not mobbed...but that will probably change after the church people get out & go super bowl shopping....not really planning on watching the game tonite...may switch back & forth to check out the commercials or might just look them up on You tube tomorrow...now it's time for a 3rd cup of coffee...if only I had a cupcake to enjoy with it...

Good morning, gang! Woke up to a dark, grim morning due to the rain that was coming down. Definitely not conducive for wanting to get out of bed. By the way, that was at 9 o'clock! I could have kept sleeping. I'm loving this new mask I sleep in at night and am getting some of the best sleeps I've had in a long time!

Dave - Glad your new seat came in and it does what you expected it to do. Makes things much better riding that bike, even if you aren't going anywhere. LOL The purple gel cushions I ordered should be in one day this week. Can't wait to try it out.

Nancy - Glad you feel a bit better.

Kathie - Dinner at the Grille was pretty good last night. For some unknown reason Saturday night there is a pretty dead time with few customers. As it was a beautiful evening, there were a few people eating on the patio, but we stayed inside where only 2 other tables were occupied on the other side of the room. Ryan did not take us for broke either. He had a pizza flatbread and only drank water. I can afford to take that kid out!! After eating all those steamers this afternoon, I wasn't all that hungry, so I only had the appetizer special and Bert had the dinner special which he said was delicious. I know it sure smelled good. Love the picture of the squirrel too!!!
I don't know how you and Art find so much to watch on Netflix like you do. Bert & I must have spent over half an hour and couldn't find anything we wanted to watch. Bert finally settled on a Terminator movie & I fell asleep. What's your secret?

Karen - Good for you figuring out the other way to get to the eye doctor's office. Don't you love when these doctors have multiple offices? This one tomorrow will be the 5th one I've been to for the pulmonologist. Two of the offices closed as the practice grew, so this will the the third "active" office I've been to in the past year. They keep getting further away and that's a bummer. I hope Jane & Scooter are doing well today.

Got a few little things to do for this afternoon/evening. Nothing fancy this go round. M&J won't be here as Jimmy & Jennifer are both feeling sick. They don't want to bring any germs near us with the cruise getting so close. It'll just be the immediate household with nothing fancy to eat - pigs in the blanket, pretzel knots. shrimp cocktail, cheese tray and the usual chips & dips. Definitely going light this time for a change.

Better get off here and finish up the last few things I have to do. I want to be able to take it easy this afternoon and let others wait on me for a change.

Oh and for the record, GO BENGALS!! Have a wonderful Super Bowl Sunday. No matter what you're doing or how you're spending your day, behave and stay safe!

No M&Ms on today's game and didn't even find anyone selling squares. That probably saved me some funds because I usually end up with squares that require some number very unlikely to be matched by the score.
Dianne and Rich and Phil and Jeanette are coming here for the game so I did a bit of shopping at Publix yesterday so that we will have some snacks during the game.
I suspect that I will purchase a copy of USA Today on Monday just to see how they rate the SB commercials. I think that I heard somewhere that that particular edition of the paper is their biggest seller just for that reason.
Rita just mentioned that someone posted on Facebook that many, many attractions at DisneyWorld are closed. No indication of the reason but it would be a real bummer if someone is down here just to visit the park.

Good afternoon everyone.
I pretty much got nothin’ today.
Our friends called last evening and we are headed to Disney Hollywood Studios at 4:00. Seeing as “my” teams aren’t in The Super Duper Bowl it’s not big a deal for me too miss it. It’s so kind of them to want to pass us in and show us the various parks through their eyes and with their knowledge.
None of the food at WDW has calories. That’s what makes The Kingdom magic.
Bill, if you still have the M&M’s and get this note before game time I’ll let them ride if you’d like. You pick the team. I think The Rams are favoured by 4 1/2. I may as well go for the family size pack of M&M’s. ;)

Icy roads around here and in Detroit. 40-50 car pile up on
I-696 freeway at 1:00 o’clock ‘ish. Friends from church said it was downright dangerous driving home from church. 15 degrees outside RIGHT NOW. 8:20pm

Well it’s HALF TIME and so far the only commercial worth any good was the NFL’s own commercial right before the half time “show” started. The rest were just not making it for me.
L A Rams are ahead by 3 pts over the Bengals. (13/10. $

Can’t understand a thing the singers are saying in the HALFTIME SHOW.

Lee: Glad you got to go to the movies with your friends. Good move.

Back to my knitting.

Go RAMS!

Congratulations to the Rams' fans!

Quit an exciting game.

Half-time was an excellent production with lots of choreography. But the music style wasn't my cup of tea.

As for the commercials; They were...."different". But none of them stood out in my mind as great. I expected more from Budweiser.

And that's my never to be humble opinion of the Super Bowl.

Now, I've got to start getting ready for an early morning dental cleaning.

Ya'll have a safe and fun day. Now get to those leftover munchies before they turn into rubber.

Dang it’s chilly this morning!
We’ve had the pups out for their morning walk. 1.25 km this morning. That’s a tad over 3/4 of a mile In 15 minutes.
We got home from Disney in time for the start of the second half. Blue Stream Fibe had gone down just before we left. It was still out but only on the big TV. I unplugged everything, waited a few minutes, plugged it back in and all was good. Then I could watch the game. Another good, close contest.
From the entertainment lineup Dave I don’t figure I missed anything there. Have fun at the dentist.
Congrats on The Rams win Kathie. You should have wagered some cookies on the outcome. Most of us would be baking for you today! We didn’t go to ”the movin’ pictures”. Hollywood Studios is another park. For Star Wars fans the new area of the park is amazing. We did the 17 minute “Rise of The Resistance” ride. We were completely immersed in the story. As only Disney can do it!
No pool today. I don’t think. We’ll see where the day takes us.
You all have a wonderful, safe day.

9 degrees here in the Tundra of PURE MICHIGAN! Yikes that's cold.
Sun is out, so that will make it a little more bearable! Brrrr.

Dave: Hope the dental cleaning worked out for you. A cold day to have to go out of the house.

LEE: How nice that you got to go to another venue of Disney World. Hope your friends can get you both into another place before you leave.
And you best be wearing your LONG SLACKS today. Not suppose to get past 65F. That's just NOT RIGHT AT ALL.

Good for you knowing that pulling the plug on the TV might Re-Set it. Glad it worked for you. It's amazing all the decades we spent renting on Longboat Key it seems that almost every place had TV issues. They just don't seem to have it right in the houses or condos down there.

Hope you find something fun to do today. Might want to think about picking up some Publix Chicken and a couple of slices of Key Lime Pie for today. Restaurants will have their "Special Menus" out for Valentines Day that are inflated in price. :emoticon 0152 heart:

I have absolutely NOTHING right now for the rest of you nice folks. Have a SWEET DAY! I'll be back later.
I still remember our dear Marcia coming on site on Valentine's Day and telling us how her sweet dear CARL would have brought her a dozen or more RED ROSES today! Hope they are still celebrating up in Heaven together the same way! She had the best stories of her Aunt! Ha Ha.

Okay........off to get a coffee and have an Apple Pastry Treat that my dear ARTIE went out and got us in this freezing cold this morning while I was still sleeping. What a guy. We don't exchange any flowers and candy anymore. Just a card is more than enough. And this morning pastries! (can you tell we're getting to be 2 old farts) Ha Ha. :emoticon 0152 heart:
Valentines Day Bunny GIF

Good Morning & HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!
Got up early this morning to make some raspberry bars to take to the clubhouse this evening...they are showing a movie 90 minutes in heaven...kind of a strange pick for Valentine's day...but I've heard it was a good movie...Jane is coming over to go with me & then spend the night....tomorrow we are going to Barb's for brunch as a belated Valentine's get together...busy busy...
Hope you all have a Wonderful day!

Good morning. Am feeling better today. Got a decent night's sleep. Went to bed just before halftime which was fine. Temp is up to 61 but won't get much higher.

Bruce is off doing a job or two. He had an INR test this morning first.

Called and complained about no paper again this morning. They had a recording that the paper would be at least 4 hours late due to production problems, so I figured at least 6 hours because they now produce it an hour, with no traffic, from us. I told the guy about not getting one yesterday because the guy was driving way to fast to deliver.

All have a great day.

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day to all you sweet bunnies! Brrr ... Chilly morning here in the deep south. Ended up putting the heat on this morning to take the chill out of the house.

Congrats to the Rams. It really was a good game. Being a fan of neither team, it was nice to watch without getting too excited like I do during a Gator game. Our crew really didn't eat very much. The boys had nothing at all and the rest of us ate lightly. Even sent a big plate of food over to M&J as Missy said we shouldn't forget them, even though there were sickies in the house. They better appreciate it!! LOL
We do still have some food left over that we will munch on later, plus still have some little clams to have clams on the half shell for lunch. Yummy!

Right after lunch we have to head for my doctor's appointment in Orlando. Then when we come back we're going to stop at Bahama Breeze for a to go order which we will have for dinner. That's as good as it's going to get this Valentine's Day around here
G&E are taking some of the boys to an escape room as a treat this evening, so we will be home alone. Doesn't that sound exciting? ;)

Oh, and by the way, I did get a dozen red roses from Bert for Valentine's Day. We are carrying on the tradition!!

On that note, I'm out of here for now. Have a fantastic Valentine's Day no matter what you are doing. Stay warm and stay safe!:emoticon 0152 heart::emoticon 0152 heart::emoticon 0152 heart:

Well, made it thru my field vision test for another year....still hate the stupid thing.
Got my cookies made but by following the receipe the ones on the edge of the pan got a little to hard...so those will stay at my house to be eaten with coffee...win/win...now I need to get busy cause Jane & Hansel will be here soon..catch up with you all sometime tomorrow!

Sounds like everyone is behaving and having a busy day running to doctors' appointments and dental appts. Aren't we just a FUN GROUP! Ha Ha

We are trying to stay warm here in the Tundra. Funny that today it was 9F in the morning and so far we haven't gotten higher than 22F in the afternoon.
On Wednesday it will be 57F and then on Thursday it will be 33F and Snow/Sleet expected. CRAZY.

Karen have fun at the Pool House Movie Night. Sounds like fun.

We saw groups of ROBINS all over our front lawn. And when we were out and
about, we saw even more Robins on the West Side of town. I guess the crazy ROBINS must be coming back. We never saw a Robin all Winter so far. Strange birds if they came back too soon from wherever they go to.

Out of here for now.

Pat: Throw
an Afghan or blanket around you to keep warm.

Lee & Lu-Ann what were you two up to today? Did you read or hear that the Ambassador Bridge is OPEN and traffic is running at the usual pace. They arrested about 30 people and towed away 7 vehicles. Heard something about the Covid Testing 72 hr thing was supposed to end in a couple of weeks. Not sure if that was in Windsor area or All over Canada ? Can't keep up with 2 countries. Ha Ha

Time to call it a night. Had a good doctor visit. He was amazed that I love this new face mask thingie. Just had our Caribbean takeout dinner and I am so stuffed. Time to make like a couch potato and go sit in my wonderful new chair. See you all in the morning!

Sounds like everyone had or is having a great day! And that, as Martha Stewart used to say, is a good thing.
Fingers crossed Kathie, that they drop the PCR test for fully vaccinated Canadians coming home. I saw the Ambassador Bridge news on TV here. Pretty damned embarrassing to see a group of rag tag toothless winkies “representing” Canadians.
We went to PF Changs for a nice Valentines lunch. Tomorrow? Well, it’s Tuesday. :D
Have a great night Bunnies.

Good Tuesday morning Bunnies!

Not today, but Wednesday & Thursday it will get into the mid 50's around here. FINALLY! I'm sick of looking at and slipping around on the snow and ice which has been on the ground for the last 30 days. (But on Friday it goes below freezing again.)

A mind is a terrible thing lose. I tell you that mine was out of whack when I went to the dentist for a cleaning yesterday. I wasn't there for a cleaning at all, but a repair for a chip on one of my back teeth. The dental assistant starts telling me about numbing up a certain tooth. And I'm thinking, "What is this lady talking about, I'm just here for a cleaning???" And I tell her that. So she verifies my name, address and phone number. Slowly, ever so slowly, I begin to remember this chipped tooth. Boy did I feel stupid.

Today's only goal is to do 30 minutes on the treadmill or stationary bike. The way they make things now, I'm surprised that neither one has a cup-holder.

I'm surprised that neither one has a cup-holder.
What??? I bet you could go longer if you had beverage holders Dave.
Good morning. Another coolish start to the day. Perfect for our early morning walk with the pups. Today is Katie’s 11th birthday and Ava’s 4th (or there abouts) birthday. With Ava having been a true rescue from China the vets can only guess at her age. We’re going to take them to Woof Gang Bakery in Celebration for a treat. We enjoy the town too so I’m picturing a nice walk around one of their big ponds (little lake?) and a Starbucks coffee too.
No such thing as a “bad” cookie Karen. What exactly is a field vision test?
I think that it’s sweet of Bert to give his bride a dozen red roses for Valentines Day Pat. :emoticon 0152 heart:

It does sound like you’re feeling better Nancy. Good.
As a kid I used to have a paper route. Those stone tablets were heavy! ;) I thought I’d say that before somebody else did…
Now, Kathie and Art’s B&B…is it like Double Tree hotels? Fresh cookies every afternoon?
Hiya Bill.
Off for now. Everyone stay safe and don’t forget masks and hand sanitizer if you’re in a store.
