Wacky Wabbit
WELL, I thought TODAY was SUNDAY! Good grief has it come to that already. I'm losing my mind!! (Dear Tony, is laughing his head off over that sentence). Reminds me that tomorrow Feb 1st is one year since he left us for greener pastures.
We had ACTION at 8:30 a.m. here in front of our house. A HUGE lumber trailer truck pulled up with a huge fork lift on the back and had what looked like 25 foot beams and another stack of wood on it. It was for our next door neighbors kitchen project. (lordy) Well, without moving 2 cars that were in the street this guy picks up the stack of 25ft boards and moves it up to their driveway and the machine does an amazing turn and gently lays it down their entire driveway and I think some of it is in the garage area. UNREAL. This part of the project to get a "OPEN CONCEPT" look from the kitchen into the family room has to be costing over $10,000 plus! Yet alone the rest of the project. How they get those BEAMS into the house will be more than interesting to hear someday when this is all over. You have to cut into walls, and go through rooms, etc, etc. ART just SHAKES HIS HEAD! He said if they wanted that look they should have put the house up FOR SALE and found a new one.
The sad thing is that we're suppose to get 6 inches of Snow on Wednesday afternoon and into Thurs morning. All that nice wood will be buried!
DAVE: I think we all knew that your SIL and daughter would NOT be getting Vax'd. The folks out in Arizona just think differently than some folks. I hope for the best for them and will keep any other comments to myself.
I will be cheering on the LA team because of the Quarterback coming from the Detroit Lions. He deserves to be in the Super Bowl and if he WINS it will be just FANTASTIC after sticking it out with the Detroit Lions for so many years of defeat.
DAVE: I will NOT be doing any "detective" work on trying to find out what is going on with BB! I've learned my lesson regarding that issue. All I can do is WISH HER A SPEEDY EXIT from the hospital. I pray that she will be alright.
I looked at our desk calendar and the ENTIRE WEEK IS BLANK! WOW....that's like a MIRACLE!
Karen, thinking of you and Scooter. XOXO
Out of here now to continue knitting. The kitchen floor will have to wait until later and the bathrooms too. Ha Ha
Later gang.
LEE: I hope your weather gets up into the at least the 65's real soon. This is not what you were expecting.
