Return of the Cruising Bunny's....

Good morning, gang! I hope you're all having a tiptop day up to this point.

KC - Congrats. I have a question - Are you now VP or are you VP Elect? We need to know how to address you correctly now! :bigwave:

Dave - So have you tried the Irish mist yet? You drink that straight, whereas vodka is usually mixed with something.
Good for your governor mandating that masks be worn. Better than our butt kissing jerk. He's mandating that all children have to return to brick & mortar schools.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

That was all I got done this morning before Bert decided we needed to go shopping right then and there, so I will continue on now ...

K2 - Sounds like the perfect day for your bean soup. Good deal on the ham bone. Next time we get a ham from Honeybaked Hams, I'll have to ask if they will sell you just a bone. I can't see why the wouldn't.
Art is really hardy to be out bike riding when it's cold. At least he dressed appropriately.

Lee - Good for Lu-Ann taking part in that Parkinson's discussion. She's really being very helpful to that and the next class.
Tarantino's dinner was chicken parm. Best part was I got to take home the leftovers, of which I just ate half for lunch. I also decided we needed a cannoli to go and we also shared that after lunch.
Now I know that the filming on the lake was all about and it's very interesting. Apparently, they were filming a bass fishing tournament for the fishing channel on cable to be shown in the spring. Those taking part were taken to 3 different lakes which they did not know in advance (so they couldn't scope it out). Ours was the last one. The first prize for this tournament was $100,000.!!!!
Also found out the story about the guy who kept throwing his rod down. He's a "hotheaded Italian from NJ". That alone is a lethal combination! He was getting made because every time he got a bite, the fish got away. They said he's calmed down now. At one time he was banned from their tournaments due to his temper. Now that he can control it better, they let him compete again. And that's my story & I'm sticking with it.

Need to get off here as we're out of here again to go to Aldi's. If the motorized cart is available, I'll go in to the store today wearing a mask & gloves, of course. But if it's not, Bert gets to go alone and I'll just have to hope he gets what I want.

So bye bye for now. Have a good afternoon and stay safe.:)

This morning when I some my thoughts went to ALL of you.

Every one of you give freely of your time to so many others:

Dave: Doing so much to help get Biden / Harris get elected. T shirts, signs etc.

Lee, organizing the new neighborhood to build fences.

Lu- Ann giving back to the Parkinson’s community.

Pat, spending so much time being the glue that keeps her family tight and extremely well fed even though it takes hours and hours of her time.

Kathie giving us all advice on our well being even though she has her own fight going on. The undying support of her Maxwells.

Karen going into her new community giving so much to others. Volunteering as President of her HOA. It won’t always be easy, but it will be invaluable and quite rewarding.

Bill, who has so much pride in his family involvement even while he fights his own battles.

I am so much richer for know you all these years.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I am proud to know you all. Thank you.

Tony - You trying to make us all weepy? You talk about what everyone else does, but look at yourself - President of your HOA, working the Gilroy garlic festival, all you've done for your kids and mostly all you've done for and with your grandkids. You are one very special person and we all miss you when you're not posting.

I did a first today... I actually went into a store!!! Went to the big Aldi's with wide aisles and not many people. Picked up a good selection of their cheeses as well as the beginning of some German Christmas candy that they have already gotten in. Didn't spend much time looking up and down aisles. Got what we needed and got right back out of there.
K2 - Don't worry we had on masks abd gloves.

Time for me to shut this computer down. G&E are coming tonight for jambalaya with the boys and to help finish off the cheesecake sampler that Elaine brought the other day. By the time they leave, I'll be ready for bed!

Have a good evening and I'll see you in the morning. :)

Well thanks Pat. The truth is I get way more back than I give, so, in a way, I am kinda selfish.

Damn, I wish I could be having Jambalaya for dinner tonight.

G and E has a much better ring to it than G and what’s her name. I am happy for Gary.

SAN: You were so kind to mention all of us. And like your crazy Sibling Sister BB said you give as much as the rest of us do. And once you're back to 100% the OLD crazy SAN....you'll be giving back more because you know what it's like to be held down. One big wake-up call on how EVERYONE TOGETHER can make a happy group of people both on here and in your own private life.
I know I'm more grateful for all of you than you can imagine. You all have gotten me through a lot the past few years. I truly think of you folks as family. I talk to you all more than I do my own family! LOL

BB: Congrats on actually GETTING INSIDE A STORE. You really need to do that more often. The world will pass you by if you keep sitting in the parking lot all the time. Scope out those stores that have scooters or have Bert bring yours!

So the BEAN SOUP is done and other than the "After Effects" you get from eating BEAN SOUP I think it will be yummy! I'll be freezing the better portion of this batch for those cold Blustery Snowy days in Winter!

So it's official .......we are NOT celebrating Thanksgiving with my brother and his whole gang and our whole gang this year. Just not worth the risk. Mark is suppose to donate blood cells to his brother and he needs to stay clear of any germs before he starts taking shots to build up his cells for the draw.
All you hear on TV is DON'T DO IT! Not sure if we will do Christmas as a big gathering either.

SAN: Up at the TOP of each post there is a tT if you tap on that you can make your FONT SIZE BIGGER so us OLDER BLIND people can see your posts better. Thank you in advance! DUH! And if you DON'T want to do that........it's okay too! Pftttth~

Got the CT-Scan of the chest done tonight. That's about the quickest and easiest scan you can have done. Takes more time to put on a gown than it does to HOLD your BREATH twice and slide back and forth through a open tube! I came home and took off my clothes and threw them in the washing machine. Just had a creepy feeling about going any further into the house with "hospital" clothes on! Yup, I'm a little OCD when it comes to COVID GERMS.

You all have a good evening. Hope our Madame Vice President sleeps well tonight too! LOL

Good night from Macomb.

Some of you might have seen this on my Facebook page. It's about a beautiful couple in our church that would give you the shirts off their backs if you needed them. The gentleman has been ill with Kidney issues. BIG TIME ISSUES. He needed a NEW KIDNEY and his LOVING WIFE got tested and was a perfect match. Yesterday, Wednesday, they went through the surgery at our big hospital and all went well. She might be home late tonight or on Friday and he will be in the hospital for a week. It made me cry when I read the message that a church member sent out about them having this done. I pray the transplant takes and he has a full recovery. And as for his wife, a fellow choir member, she's just got elevated to QUEEEN status for such a selfless gesture. Be good to each other folks.........it's worth it!

Here's the message if you care to read on:

God Bless Pero & Dara. So happy to hear that they are doing well.

St. Lazarus Serbian Orthodox Cathedral - Ravanica

31. Romans 12:10: "Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves."
A beautiful lifetime of following the path of the Christ that has lead this couple to this moment.
Yesterday Dara gave her husband Pero the ultimate gift of love, which she knew he would do in a heartbeat as well. She donated her kidney with faith, hope and love that it would make him well.
Dara & Pera have a beautiful story: having met at our church hall over 40 years ago are an inspiration to us all.
Never apart, they have exemplified what stewardship is all about. They have given their time, talent and treasures to their beloved church, serving on countless committees, boards and organizations. There is not an event our church hosts that Dara doesn’t bake and Pero doesn’t work. They have brought their children up loving Ravanica and now proudly they bring their four beautiful grandchildren to church faithfully.
May God continue to bless you for all that you both do and have done. Join us as we lift them in prayer for healthy recovery and may they both return to their beautiful grandchildren and church they love. AmenDara and Pero I.jpg

Has Corona 19 "magically" disappeared yet? And neither has the Buffoon. It's been one Hell of a year so far.

It's Friday already??? Where did this week go?

Yesterday's grocery shopping; Very quiet as usual since we go so early. Surprisingly the toilet paper shelves were fully stocked. No big shortages overall. Oddly they didn't have any cole slaw. As usual there was no bathroom cleaner sprays. And for the second week in a row there were no large paper bowls. Everyone was wearing a mask.

Now when I go to any large store I only wear my N-95. When it's a very small store I'll shift down to my 3-ply masks. (That N-95 isn't going to stay clean forever, and I'll probably never get another one.)

On the way home we drove by the new-build on the street behind us. An Amish family was installing the shingles. Why do I say family? Because there were two women working as well on the roof of that 2-story house. Now get this....not joking....the women were up there wearing their full length dresses.

Atta boys to Lu-Annn for speaking at the Parkinsons meeting. It's better if the speaker has lived their subject rather than talking from being educated from books.

Yes K2, it never seems as cold as it is if the sun is shining. By going to Honeybaked Ham just for a ham bone is proof positive that you cook in the old Serbian fashion.
"He'll never WALK STRAIGHT again in this lifetime because of his back, but it doesn't stop him from biking. (hunched over is a plus when biking) DUH!!" I never knew Art had this complication from his back problems. It's one of those things we all have to "suck it up buttercup" for our our various conditions that we have as we grow older.

I did try the Irish Mist BB. Tasted pretty good, and I'll have more of it, but it does have a sweet taste to it so it'll never replace my vodka. It's like fancy foo-foo drinks, nice to enjoy once in a while but won't become a daily choice.

San; You were very nice in pointing out that all of us Bunnies are good and giving people. Which, I guess, is why everyone agrees on so much.

Good morning my friends.
I have to admit that reading Tony’s post has left me with, right now, nothing to say.
So beautifully said about everyone bar one person. Your own high standards Tony to live well and treat others as you wish to be treated which you and Nancy have imparted on your sons, your daughter and your grandkids.
Keep the faith folks. We’re in this together and we’ll get through it together.

Good morning! So how are all my favorite people doing this morning? Cloudy morning here in our area, but the sun will come out later.

San - Yeah, we all love the sound of G&E much better too. She's such a sweetheart and is always pitching in to help, be it to serve dinner, do dishes or just get drinks as needed. What a difference from before. She's definitely a keeper and Gary is madly in love with her. Actually that's a mutual thing! :emoticon 0152 heart:

K2 - Smart move limiting the size of the family gathering for Thanksgiving. We were invited to Elaine's brother's house for dinner, but we told her last night that we would take a pass on dinner there this year. Too many people that we really don't know that well. She wanted to know what we would do instead. Old smart a$$ me told her that we would just go to Denny's for dinner and watch all the fathers there eating with their children that they only have for the day. Or we could get Chinese take out. I'm just kidding on both options, but it was fun seeing the look on her face. :D Now she's wanting to make a full turkey dinner either the week before or the week after, so we get a dinner too. I told her not to worry about it. I have a 12 lb half a turkey in the freezer that I may make, if Missy isn't cooking.

Dave - I agree Irish Mist is very sweet due to the honey. It's not meant for regular drinking. We only break it out after a big dinner or as a night cap which will guarantee you will sleep well. Have you ever tried Mead? It's an Irish honey wine and the legend is that that's where the word honeymoon came from. Something about the phases of the moon and the bridal couple being alone during this phase with Mead wine to drink.

Lee - So how did the dog meet up go yesterday? Did they remember each other?

Madam VP - You need to get your butt back here for a visit. Us lowly common people need to know what's happening at your lofty level!

Our jambalaya last night was so good, but even better was the charcuterie board before dinner. We picked up 7 different types of cheese yesterday at Aldi's and put out a little of each. We also had some goat cheese and to go with that I put out a small cup of blueberry preserves that a friend made and a small cup of peach preserves that I added a little piece pf diced up jalapeno to give it a bit of a bite. They are almost the entire thing and cleaned up pretty much out of crackers!

Tonight we're going to a wine pairing here in our community. It's limited to 30 people with social distancing. We're going with a friend & her daughter. They're the ones who made the blueberry preserves.

Well, guess what? It's time to get off here. Bert sold something on ebay and needs to get it to the post office this morning. So off I go once again. Have a great day, everyone, and don't forget your mask, if you're out and about. :)

Good ALMOST afternoon.

I’ve been busy.
Got that huge pot of Bean soup all dished out in containers and in the basement freezer. As soon as FREEZES I’ll use my FoodSave machine to vacuum out the air and it will store for .....well a long long time.
Then I changed the bedding in our room. I would change sheets and pillow cases, blankets every day if I had the get up and go and the water bill wasn’t so high. Love fresh sheets. Oprah has her sheets changed every day! Well, she doesn’t have to worry about the cost of water to wash them or doing the job! LOL

MADAME V.P. You’re going to get RECALLED if you don’t show up and talk to us Wrabbits.

Dave: Hang it up on that Froo Froo Irish Mist and get yourself some GOOD COGNAC. Never have a hangover and can sip it cold or room temp. Never on ice though!
You might want to throw your N95 masks in the DRYER for a cycle to kill off the germs that have attached to the electro coating on those masks. Our ACE hardware sells them 2 for $9 bucks. I buy them and wear them in the Grocery store when I go there in the mid-afternoon and it’s crowded. Otherwise, I’m like you and wear the Blue pleated one. I try very hard to go grocery shopping at 6:30 am or after midnight.....since I don’t go to bed early at all.

We’re off to Home Depot to give a deposit for our doorwall (slider door) and back door going into the garage. You don’t want to know how much this is costing us, but the guy worked every angle and got us contractors discount of 15%. Not a lot, but covers the installation cost of the doorwall (slider). It still cracks me up that in Michigan that door is called a DOORWALL and it’s not that way everywhere.

We got a chance to rent a house in Florida on the Gulf side for 4 weeks in January. Friends of my brother who own a home for rental. Some people from Canada cancelled. I said there is NO WAY I am renting in January and on top of it with this Covid spiking everywhere we are staying home. Besides we spent our vacation allowance on home repairs and updates! Ha Ha. They do have Feb, March and April all rented out Amazing! Goid for them is all I can say. I wonder if those homes get professionally SANITIZED when the renters leave and the next group comes in! I’d have to see some proof of that happening. Yup....OCD ...that’s me.

Okay, out of here for now. Be safe.
Lee: Your get togethers outside with your friends need to have Masks on! That one fella was way too close without a mask even for outside! Don’t let your guard down just because you’re outside! Mentioned only because I CARE ABOUT YOU BOTH!

I could have sworn I posted yesterday....I think you guy's are just getting old
& forgetful....or possibly I am....:D

Tony, don't sell yourself short...your humor & monkey poking on here at times helps us all not take life to serious....and my Dad thought you pretty much hung the moon after you gave him & Wendy the "royal" treatment in Alaska!

Pat, so glad to hear you actually got to go INSIDE a store for a change instead of cooling your heels in the car...I Love Aldi's!! They are building a new one close t where Jane lives...can't wait till it opens next week!!

Dave, glad you were finally successful on your search for Irish Mist...that does sound good...I may have to try & track down a bottle of it for those hard to fall asleep nights...

Kathie, how sweet that your church friend was able to be a match for her hubby's kidney....guess they really were a "match" made in heaven....
And regarding all that money on home improvements...as you are so fond of reminding us....You can't take it with you...Enjoy it now while you can!!

Lee, LuAnn is one amazing woman with all her work & effort in sharing her Parkinson's experiences....

Nothing to much exciting going on around here...it's still dull & gloomy outside...the back porch & the rug on it got soaked the last few days from all the rain blowing in...got most of it dried up now....
Tried to change out a light fixture in my hall area....I have the old one I took down from the dining room...but when I went to screw in the new bracket the box seem pretty loose & wobbly...so either Monday or Tues. the electrican will be here to install a new box & the new light... the light I am putting up is a little on the heavy side so I just didn't want to take a chance...ka-ching..ka-ching I'm sure...
I broke down last week & ordered myself a new cell phone...I didn't want to go thru the hassle but my old one was so SLOW and would freeze up all the time...bought a new LG Tracphone for $20 down & 4 payments of $15 interest free...it came yesterday & I got my old number transferred to the new phone & all my contacts entered...luckily I don't have that many people in my contacts...so far I like it pretty well...is sure is FAST!!!
Yesterday was Wendy's 87th birthday...she was in Tampa with her daughter so we are having a little party here for her tomorrow...and that's all the new's from Belleview...

OK, I’m back.
I looked for a “Hail to The Vice Chief” song for Karen but there isn’t one. Well, there should be.
The meeting with the pups wasn’t what we were expecting or hoping for yesterday. Except for lunch on the patio at Caffeine and Co which was nice. Latte has a bit of a mean streak in her. She snapped at Ava so Latte wound up with her muzzle on. She’s also very vocal barking at every dog she sees. Two traits that needed to be dealt with starting a month ago!!
I’m not sure which pic you mean about the masks Kathie. We were all distanced on the patio. Jan and Dave are in our immediate bubble as are Doug and Brenda who were in the selfie picture with Canadian astronaut Commander Chris Hadfield. As much as it pained me we wore our masks at pickle ball the other day too! But, well , thanks for caring. That means a lot. Amazing that spouses would be compatible for kidneys! We’ll be keeping them in a little corner of our thoughts. There are lots of us Canadians cancelling southern vacations this year. I feel bad for the property owners. In our circle of friends, not to be confused with our bubble, there are seven couples plus us NOT going south.
All of Pat’s talk about Italian Food saw me place a call to Ricardo’s Italian here in town. I’m picking up a take away dinner for Lu-Ann and I tonight. Your Jambalaya and charcuterie board sound delicious! I guess I can blame you for the jambalaya fixin’s we picked up today too!
Sorry Dave. Both those things are still here but there’s an end in sight for one of them. I have a couple of different masks as well. My “good” mask is a European FFP3 designation with an interchangeable 4 layer filter. The filter is good for about 200 hours of use and then it can be replaced. And yes, I do keep a note on my phone where I record the time and place I wear it! It is rated slightly better than the N95. I also have a couple of two layer masks with the ability to insert, of all things, a coffee filter for a third layer. Then there’s the good old two layer masks...
There is an interesting article in Time referencing Canada’s increase in COVID-19 cases after our Thanksgiving and what that may spell for our neighbours to the south. Hang on kids, the ride ain’t pretty.
Lastly Bill here’s a sign we saw today at a travel agency in the next town north of here, LaSalle... I hope you can move it around to read the message. It made me giggle.
As always folks, please stay safe. It’s a jungle out there!

Time for me to check out for tonight. We have to leave for the wine pairing/tasting in a few minutes. Then when we get home, Bert will be a happy camper - New Blacklist tonight!!!!!

Have a great night and I'll see you in the morning. :)

Nothing to report here.
We went and signed for the (2) new doors to get ordered.
Went to pay for them and asked the nice young man if we could see if Art's Military discount
would give us ANY ADDITIONAL DISCOUNTS added to the nice one we got already. He put it through the computer and it popped out with $1.20. Ha Ha One Dollar and Twenty Cents!
I told Art to tell him WE'LL TAKE IT!! I think that was a discount on the caulk! LOL
Now we WAIT and WAIT and WAIT!

Lee: Sorry that Latte wasn't showing her best side yesterday at the get together. Glad you ended up with AVA!!

BB: Love the message on the Travel Agents sign!

KC....(Madame V.P or better yet.....
MVP! Nice of you to continue to keep in touch with Wendy. Hope her children that were sick are doing better. Happy Birthday to her.
Nice going on that phone! What carrier do you use?

Out of here.

Today, Benjamin and I did something we haven’t done in a long time. He and I took my truck, Ben in the front seat, and drove up to Morgan Hill for shakes at McDonalds. We got a lot of talking done and had a great time together. We will be doing it again soon.

SAN: Fantastic that you and Ben got to go to Mickey D’S. I smiled as I read your post. Keep up the good recovery! You can make this happen. Go for it. Don’t forget to drink your WATER!

Hope that our “MVP” a/k/a KC gets a good nights sleep tonight!
Enjoy your SATURDAY.

DEER SEASON OPENS HERE IN MICHIGAN . Feel sorry for all the Bambi’s in the woods!

Checking in this morning with nothing much to gab about.

So nice hearing from you, Madam Vice President!

Pleased that G&E have become a wonderful couple not only for themselves but others too.

I agree K2, those food-savers sure do work much better than freezer bags. A lot less chance on getting freezer burns.

Lee; Sorry to hear that Latte isn't as mellow as Eva. The sooner they correct that mean-streak the easier it will be. Don't want it to become a habit.

Thanks San, now I've got the hungries for a milkshake.

Good thing Kathi reminded me that I'd better get those Christmas stories recorded. (The night before Christmas & Frosty the Snowman.)

I was suppose to be a simple thing.......until the dogs got involved. I figured that I'd just go down the basement and record. That's where I go to exercise and sometime watch some TV show that I know Kathi doesn't like. And the dogs are fine being left upstairs. The plan was great, but the execution of it wasn't.

Everytime the dogs heard me read, they'd start barking. I ended up coming back upstairs and recording at the dining room table. They were fine with me reading, as long as they could see me.

Good Morning gang. 35F and hopefully getting to a Overpowering HEAT WAVE of 45F today! Ha Ha. Brrrrrr is the name of the game here.
Art went biking as he usually does on Saturdays. He'll be okay, he has all the correct gear to keep warm. His coffee stop at the "The BEAN Shop" will be more appreciated in this cold.

I need to find a SMALL TURKEY. The 6 of us are going to be having Thanksgiving dinner at our house this year. We have a LARGE dining room table that we can put in 2 extensions in the dining room and that should help keep us a little bit apart while eating. After that there shouldn't be a big issue staying "directly" away from each other. The kids will each grab a couch, I'll be in the kitchen and Mark and Art will watch the Lions Football game (if it happens) in the family room. Jill will most likely help me with the dishes and then start a puzzle on the cleared off table in the dining room. That should keep us all apart! And if somebody has a HUGE ISSUE with distance there's always the big TV in the recreation area of the basement.

Today finding or ordering that SMALL TURKEY will be the hard part. Everyone will be downsizing from 15# to 20# Turkey's this year! Should be interesting to see how the stores are going to get rid of all those HUGE TURKEYS!!

DAVE: Tell me more about your Recordings. Do you record them for each Grandchild? And is it done in one of those Hallmark books? Do you do this to the same kids every year or what??
Fill me in on it. You have that EXCELLENT DEEP RADIO DJ VOICE and I bet the recordings are fantastic. Is there a way that Kathi could put a video of it on here for all of the HUTCH BUNNIES to hear?? PLEASE!!

I'm off to clean this house while the "Mister" is away. That kitchen floor is calling me again. Dark wood floors are really nice to look at and easy on the feet, but water marks in the kitchen sink area leave a nice blotch and they reflect when the sun hits them. Hate looking at marks on the floor. And besides.........it's just time to wash the floor.
I need to get the rug shampoo machine out and do the hallway and family room carpets. Kind of a pass through "where the Priest Walks" as us Serbs say. (The Priest comes over to bless your house and hence the saying Where the Priest Walks) We use to have him come and bless our house every year, until I just thought it was a Old World Tradition and I gave up on it. Back in the day in Yugoslavia when there were no autos and the village people didn't get to see their priest every Sunday, the Priest would make trips to their homes to see how they were doing and chat and bless the house while he was there. Here in America we can go to church every Sunday (well, we could before the Covid hit) and I feel there is no need to have the priest come by and chat and bless our house! Most of us Serbs have the priest come and bless your house when you buy or build a new one. I often wonder if that was like their way of getting any OLD SPIRITS, Ghosts, out of the place. Okay, enough of that.

Get out and enjoy your day. Stay safe and DAVE, Lu-Ann and Lee STAY WARM. The rest of you deal with your rain and warmer temps as best you can and be happy it's not 35F where you live! LOL

Later. Come back with some good evening stories.

Good morning, everyone! Here's hoping you're all off to an excellent start of your Saturday.

We haven't got a lot going on today outside of having the return a book to the library somewhere along the way. Other than that, our day is an empty slate. I see lots of lanai time today, but I ran out of things to read. Bummer!

KC - Nice that you'll get to see Wendy for a belated birthday for her. Glad she's getting to spend her actual birthday with her daughter in Tampa.

Dave - I bet the grandkids are going to love those books! I hope you also write a personal message in the book to each of them. That's what we did when we recorded those books for the grandkids in NC.

K2 - That's a lot of distancing you're planning for just the 6 of you. Jill's family get to spend time together in the same house once in a while, so I wouldn't worry about keeping them apart.

I had a huge 24 lb turkey in the freezer that there was no way I'd be able to make these days, so Bert went ahead and sawed it in half. I'm going to make one half of it this coming week.
I have invited M&J to come with the kids for Thanksgiving, but I'm not sure if they will. Missy works until about 1:00 Thanksgiving and then has to be in bright & early the next morning for the start of Amazon Prime. She wasn't even planning to do anything. I told her it would not be a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Bert came up with the same idea I did - steaks! We'll see how that works out.

Lee - Time for your fur babies to start wearing coats yet? Getting downright chilly up north and here we're still hearing about another hurricane. Thankfully, it will stay well south of Florida.

San - That you and Benjamin are getting to do something like in the "old days" by going to Mickey D's. I bet he was as thrilled as you to be able to do this once again. Keep up the good work and keep getting stronger by the day.

Negc - How are you and Rita doing these days? It seems like forever since I last talked to her. Are customers keeping her busy in anticipation of cruising beginning again one of these days?

That's about it for me for right now. Today's color choices are in honor of a certain great college football team that will be playing tonight. GO GATORS!!!

Have a wonderful day everyone and stay safe if you're out and about today. Love you all and want to keep you around for a good long time!!! :)

The office is still closed but Rita continues to work from home, BB. One of her clients called her yesterday and told her he wanted her to book him on next year's repositioning cruise out of Boston. Only problems that RCI hasn't yet abbiubced any repo cruise out of Boston.
My favorite breakfast place is open for breakfast and lunch six days a week. On Fridays, however, it stays open for dinner, so last night Rita and I went there and I was pleased to see that the menu included braised lamb shank.
Later i watched the new episode of Blacklist. I have to say that the plot is getting so convoluted that I am having a hard time figuring where they are planning to go with their story line and I have almost given up caring who Reddington really is. Despite some programs starting the new season, I was disappointed to see that Blue Bloods was a repeat.
BC and Notre Dame face each other this afternoon. Wonder which team God will be rooting for?
Looks like little other than college football on the major networks tonight so I can catch up on my reading. Finished the Jack Reacher book which I didn't find especially satisfying. Too much of a mix of Russians, neo-Nazis, bad cops. as though Lee and his brother were throwing everything in a pot to see what came out. The Janet Evanovitch book, however, was, as usual, very good and entertaining. Currently I am reading what I believe is the latest in the Lincoln Lawyer series which I am enjoying quite a lot.
