Return of the Cruising Bunny's....

Good morning!

Another sunny and unusually warm day here today. Records are being set all over Ohio, as it was here yesterday when it got up to 76 degrees. We've had to remind ourselves that this is November.

I took down one of the 2 Biden/Harris signs yesterday, and put it inside the white fenced area so I could look out the kitchen window and see it. I told Kathi, "It makes me smile." The other sign will probably come down today and be put with all my other political signs I've had over the years.

Here's an oddball election statistic; They said that 97% of the Navajo Nation voted for Biden/Harris. That sounded way high to me so I fact checked it. It's true. I E-mailed my Arizona daughter with that tidbit of news and she wrote back that it didn't surprise her. (Her hubby was born and raised on that reservation.)

K2, I too remember when people burned leaves right by the curb. Just a hint for next time, our little arsonist, don't post evidence of it on here.

KC; I would have thought that by now you'd have had your fill of elections. I hope you win because I know you'd be good, future "Madam Vice President".

Time for some hot chili that I'll be mixing with some spicy re-fried beans.

Then I'll fire up and run the snow-blower from the back shed and into the garage.

Have a good one.

Good Morning Wrabbits. I must have stood that the front windows looking at the WIND blowing the leaves off of the 2 Maples out front. They're almost NAKED! Normally, these leaves and the ones out back are still on the trees until the end of December. Loving our 75+ temps we had yesterday. Today will be the LAST 75+ temp day around here. There's going to be a DIP in the weather and folks are going to GASP at the change coming! :emoticon 0132 envy: Oh well, it was a fantastic treat while it lasted.

KC: (almost Madame KC) I got up at 2:00 am and then again at 4:30 am. Managed to go back to sleep in the spare bedroom until 7:30 am. I didn't want to keep Art up with my restlessness. I've also been blessed with a "runny nose" the past few days. It's either all these leaves causing allergies or I have a cold. No temperature and don't feel like I have a cold, just major blowing of the nose going on. Now aren't you all so HAPPY I shared that with you! Ha Ha.

DAVE: You had a good post going until you mentioned the SNOWBLOWER! :emoticon 0146 punch: Any good construction going on around your area? Is the house across the street finished with their major rebuild? Time for Kathi to pay them a visit and see how things turned out. The house across the street by us that had major Kitchen and dining room and laundry room remodel done is on HOLD for another 2.5 weeks while the counter tops get fabricated. Granite or Quartz from what the lady told me, not sure which! Poor planning on the part of the remodel company to have to wait that long to get them cut and installed. Good thing she has a FULL KITCHEN in the basement area. They have 4 kids and the 2 of them to feed everyday! :beer2:

So last night I drive 4.5 miles to the annex hospital to get this routine Chest X-Ray done and get buzzed into the bldg, since it looked very empty at 7:00 pm, and low and behold the nice gal at the desk said that department is closed! WHAT??? I show her my paperwork and the 7:40 pm time on it and she looks it up on the computer and said SOMEBODY MADE A BIG MISTAKE.........it should have been 7:40 A.M. ...... like in the morning! DUH. It didn't upset me too much because you don't have to "FAST" for a chest x-ray and the place is really close to home. She apologized and I said NO HARM DONE. I went to the local grocery store and did my shopping instead. It was pretty empty and that was a good thing.
Now I need to wait online to reschedule that appointment.
Hey........ALWAYS SOMETHING!! Ha Ha

I don't have anything else for you nice folks this morning. Off to take a over the counter Allergy pill.:confusedvb:

KC try and get a "Cat-Nap" in later today! Ooops.....then again DON'T DO THAT.......just stay awake! Hopefully, you'll sleep through the night.

Good morning, everyone!

Pretty outside right now and temps in the low 80s, but pretty is going to change to rainy shortly as we get another band of showers from the storm that doesn't know where the he!! it wants to go. Talk about being loopy, that's this storm. And now I heard there's the possibility of 2 more storms out there. That figures ... This is 2020 and is as screwed up as it gets.

KC - Sorry you're having trouble sleeping. Have you tried melatonin or Nyquil ZZZZZs? I have some melatonin gummy bears, but I usually fall asleep before they melt away. Those you are supposed to take 30 minutes before you are going to bed.

K2 - I too always loved the smell of leaves burning at the curb up north. I also love the smell of burning dried Christmas trees. Pine smells so good as it burns. I agree with KC about the oak leaves down here don't smell as good. When we moved into our house in Ocala, all around us there were too many trees, so on the day we moved in Bert started burning trees and leaves. That fire lasted over 2 months from 1 match!! He even took a burning log to the area behind his mother's house and started burning stuff there. He could be a regular pyromaniac if given a chance. No wonder he was a volunteer fireman in the town we lived in. Good thing there's nothing for him to burn here. :D
Sorry they goofed on your x-ray time. I hope you don't have to wait too long for another appointment

Dave - Sounds like a yummy breakfast you had. I still haven't had my first cup of coffee today. Good ideas for what to do with your Biden/Harris signs. How many of those campaign signs do you have in your collection?

Dinner with the gang last night was nice with just appetizers and of course, the crumb cake was a big hit. I cut the pieces very small as it is very filling. G&E took home a couple of pieces, but were already betting it would not last until the morning. The boys are nighttime kitchen raiders, especially the 16 year old. He came in last night and started eating before he even sat in the chair!

Tonight I'm going to rely on Restaurant Depot for our dinner. We're having coconut shrimp from RD with baby potatoes and another veggie to be determined. I'll make some peach jalapeno dipping sauce for it too.

But for now, it's time to have that cup of coffee. Have a great day, gang, and try to find something fun to do today. :)

All this talk about burning leaves reminds me of my youth when a favorite practice around here was to put potatoes in the leaf piles before setting the piles on fire. The result when the fires had burned out was a bunch of delicious roasted potatoes. Was that something that was a practice in your neck of the woods?
It will take more than one admittedly horrible game to make me consider that Tom Brady should retire, but it is hard to believe how badly he and the Buccaneers played the other day. Maybe the combo of Brady/Belichick and the Pats coaches was the real secret of their previous successes.
Cam Newton didn't exactly sparkle in his last minute victory last night, nor in the previous four games that they lost. Thanks in large part to Josh Allan's outstanding performance, my fantasy team outperformed all but one of the other teams in our league. Guess I'll have mixed emotions when the Pats and Bills face off again this season, Lee.
Can't believe this stretch of fantastic weather we are having but won't complain. Hope it lasts for a while.
Enjoy your trip to McCloud, San. It is always good to get away to someplace where you can relax and get refreshed and McCloud seems to be just the place for you and Nancy to do that.
Most of the trees in the complex have lost their leaves but a few are still resplendent in their fall colors. Won't be that way too much longer though.
I think it is about time for me to take advantage of this good weather and get out and walk up to et the mail. Not that there is likely to be anything in it that is worth getting.
Good luck with your candidacy, KC, though I hope you don't regret your decision to get involved in what can be a very thankless job.
Sorry about the size of the font. I have to remember to reset the size before typing. Will try to do better in the future.

A very good afternoon to all. And what an afternoon it is! Temps around the low to mid 70’s. Abundant sun shine. Seems even Mom Nature approves of the election result.
About the fences...yes, they are done. Raj and Dan have to finish up cutting the posts to size and putting on the trim caps but other than that everyone has a fenced yard.
I’m always amazed Bill that when a team seems to have an off week, the whole team tanks. By the same token when a team is firing in all cylinders every player is in tune. While many if the leaves here have succumbed to gravity there are still a few vibrant ones still clinging to the trees.
As always Pat, your dinner sounds amazing. From the salsa to the shrimp, baby ‘taters and beyond! Now I know why you have a beautiful lakeside home. As you said, less for Bert to set alight. Ah , I remember being 16. Eat, sleep and play!
I’d be destroying the pictures of the Apple “picker” as well. You can eat some of the evidence but a picture tells a story. To funny your time mix up Kathie! Here there’s lots of tests that see some departments open 24 hours. For a while it wasn’t unusual to hear of people scheduled for things like MRI’s at 2:00 AM. !!
Which I guess wouldn’t have been an issue for you Karen if you’re having trouble sleeping. Hopefully you’ll get back on the sleep cycle soon.
Burning leaves...now there’s one thing that I wouldn’t have pictured Katie enjoying. As a kid my Dad always burned leaves at the curb. I guess you wanted to keep them as far from the house as possible. That smell still opens the memory gates for me.
Dave, I liked Pat’s suggestion to add a “Thank You” to the sign you still have in the ground. We had heard of the dedication of The Navajo Nation getting out to vote. Some riding two miles on horseback to get to their polling station.
Tony, it turns out that our newest neighbour, Dan, has a brother who lived in Gilroy for a few years. In chatting with he and Sarah today the said that after a month living here they feel like they too are on vacation every day.
Tomorrow we’re off to try pickle ball. I have heard of it but really know nothing about it. Personally, I hope that it’s like curling. It winds up somewhere that you can have a glass of wine and share lies about how well you all played.
My friends, all of you enjoy the rest of the day and all of the days ahead!

Time for me to say good night and shut the computer down while I see about making our dinner. Bert and I have been sitting on the lanai, but he complained that it was dark and time wo go in. Some people just aren't adventurous!

Have a good restful night and I';; see you in the morning. :)

Good Evening gang!
KC: Good for you taking on a Board position with the HOA. A thankless job, but hey at least you can chew gum and walk at the same time.......unlike some that have taken on important position within their community. You'll be a welcomed asset for sure!
Now will you be having a RALLY and FUN-RAISER and a Inauguration? We'll all come out for your special day.....promise! LOL

Lee: Glad your fence building is over for now. When they start building houses behind you make sure to STAY INSIDE withe the BLINDS DRAWN or you'll be building for the entire block back there. I think the PUPs are going to not be too happy with Wednesday weather. Might still be raining and if not it will be 20 degrees cooler than today. But it sure was fun having these 75+ temps for as long as we did.
Our huge Maples out front are almost BARE as of tonight. And I'm sure those will be down if it rains overnight. Art and I went out around 3:30 pm today and I blew leaves down to the street area and MOTHER NATURE BLEW THEM DOWN the STREET and ART tried to snag as many as possible before they blew away. Perfect day to gather leaves before the rain. Now the BACKYARD is a whole different story. We only did them once and I can only hope the lawn man will pick most of them up when he cuts the grass. I mentioned that in the payment envelope I put in his mailbox the other day. "
Keep cutting the grass and please do the leaves too"! He won't have to worry about cleaning up 4 big bags of leaves in the front. Whew.

So today was the LAST Doctors appt of 2020! Thank Goodness. It was the annual Physical with the internist. She prescribed 2 things for the skin that is about to fall off around my nose from blowing it so much. She said the one ointment the E.N.T. may have caused all the ugliness and the fact I had that tube down my nose a couple of times within a week might have irritated it big time. She also said the LEAVES all falling so early and it being hot out doesn't help allergies.
I came ready with folders of duplicate test results from the 3 other dang doctors I have been to in the last month. I looked like a Defense Lawyer with my folder full of papers. She did appreciate it. Said there was no need to duplicate tests and only needed a blood test for my Cholesterol. I could have saved her the trouble .....I know it will be high. It always is.

BB: I get to have that Chest X-Ray on Thurs at 5:20 pm. So that's not too bad. Boob smashing Nov 25th and the MRA of the brain again in December. The insurance company is going to love when I'm finally done. Nice to have this almost all over with. But we start up again in April! Ha Ha. Hope your results turn out okay once you go see the doctor BB.

Lee: About that Pickle Ball. We have that at our Township community center. It's a FAST game. A lot like Tennis. Teams moving side to side hitting the ball over a net. You have a Paddle as if you're playing Ping Pong ball. They always look like they're having a blast when I would stop and observe. Notice I said: "Stop and OBSERVE". Too much exercise for me! Ha Ha
And regarding MRI's being done at all hours of the night....it's true here. Those machines are money makers and if they're not RUNNING they're not making the BIG BUCKS!

SAN: I was trying to get SIRI to find a radio station when by mistake she dialed your phone number. I would have let it ring through, but I was in the car and needed to pay attention to the road. Even with hands free phone calls I'm still don't like doing that unless I'm the passenger.
I tried to call you awhile back and left a message. I'll catch up with you soon! Take care.

NECG: We never put potatoes in the huge LEAF PILES when burning leaves. But it sounds like a great idea! I would burn more leaves in the backyard, but I'm afraid some environmentalist would call the police on me and I'd get a ticket. Burning leaves is not allowed. But they let you burn LOGS. How stuipd is that?

Okay, I'm out of here for tonight.

Veterans' Day. Remembering and thanking present and past veterans.

Oh man, this is sickening seeing all the Covid 19 cases and deaths. In my never to be humble opinion opinion, I find most of the blame comes down to so many people not doing the precautions that doctors have been telling us to do for 9 months.

Although we've had sunny 70+ degree days for 6 days in a row, today fall reality will settle back in. Just fantastic here yesterday.

Sorry to say it again K2, but the SNOWBLOWER fired right up with just one push of the starter button. As for construction and remodeling in our neighborhood, all 3 across from us are done with the work. But on the street behind us they began a new-build a few days ago. We could hear the hammers and saws well after dark last night. Trying to get the roof on it before today's rain. They should give you a discount on that X-ray since they mixed up AM and PM on your scheduled appointment. Great video.

BB & KC; You have got to be getting real tired of all the hurricanes and storms that have headed to Florida this year. It seems like every week another one heads your way.

How many medicare supplement adds were in your mailbox yesterday Bill?

So what's your impression of pickle ball, Lee? And give us a quick idea as to what it is.

Nothing much planned for today. I should get on the treadmill. The lawn crew may arrive this afternoon when the rain stops. This mow might be the last one of the year.

Good morning, everyone!

Thanking all the guys and gals who gave their time & service to the various branches of the military on this Veteran's Day. Thanks to you, we have what we have today. Yesterday was the Marine Corps birthday, so both days go hand in hand. We have a military museum here in Kissimmee on 192 and pass it quite often, but have never take a tour.
I found this a little while ago and is perfect for today -
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbiaN54hn-U&ab_channel=StevenCurtisChapman

K2 - I bet anyone who saw you going into the doctor's office with all those folders thought you were either a very thorough patient or a pharmaceutical salesman! :D Glad that's one more thing you got finished, but you still have some more stuff to do before the end of the year. Me too. I checked my calendar this morning and by the middle of December I have to see the cardiologist, the vascular surgeon and my pulmonologist! I also just got a postcard from my eye doctor's office that I am due for an appointment. Jeez ... They all need to leave me alone for a while.
Speaking of doctors, Bert is off right now to the dermatologist for another burning session. This too is getting old. He has to go every 3 months and the doctor always finds something to bill insurance for.

Dave -Nice to know you have the snow blower all ready to go, if needed. Hopefully, that will not be very often in the coming months.
And now we have another hurricane heading this way. Yesterday they thought the storm was heading for Alabama or Mississippi, but by last night it changed it's mind. We know that's a woman's right, but Greek letters don't relate to male or female. They just do whatever the heck they want, obviously!

KC - Better batten down the hatches! Looks like the storm is going to cut right across the state in your area, unless it changes it's mind again. Friends of ours are in Sanibel this week on vacation until Friday. I just messaged her about getting off the island and she said they are packing as fast as they can and as long as the bridge & road are still open, they will be out of there shortly. Hopefully I will hear from her once they're on the road.
Good for you running for the HOA. I'm sure San can give you lots of pointers after all the time he's been president of their HOA.

Lee - I bet you're going to hate trading in your shorts for long pants very soon. Right? If you wear them much longer, you'll be wearing them out and you'll need new ones!! LOL

Time to do a few things so Bert won't think I'm just goofing off while he's gone. Gotta keep him happy, right? Besides I want to go to Tarantino's tonight!!

So take care gang, and stay dry. Wear your mask! :)

We've got a crew in our community today who are filming some kind of fishing video. We were asked to stay away from the boat dock area for this reason. Right now the crew is filming from a bass boat right in front of our house. From what I can see, fisherman isn't having much luck catching anything and is getting very frustrated. He keeps throwing his rod down on the boat! Maybe, if the sun came out, he'd have better luck.

Time for some lunch.

Remembrance Day here. Veterans Day a little south of here. No matter what it’s called it is a day to remember and thank those who have given us the lives we have.
We stopped pickle ball for the time honoured one minute of silence at 11:00.
Pickle Ball...well, it doesn’t involve pickles or traditional balls. The paddles are a tad bigger than a table tennis or ping pong paddle. The plastic ball is about the size of a baseball but is hollow with holes in it. Like a whiffle ball. There are indoor and outdoor balls! A fairly low net separates the sides and it’s kind of like playing doubles tennis. It was fun and we will give it another try for sure.
Pat, a beautiful tune. Thank you. They’re gonna have to put a guy in the water to hook a fish in the fisherman’s line! I had my shorts on today to. With a heavier sweat shirt but still in shorts on November 11 is a bonus.
The pups loved the weather Kathie. We were done with the rain before 6:00 a.m.. Katie girl couldn’t go through The Fort today because being a statutory holiday the park was closed. The video was too funny! Did you see the article about how they got Maya Rudolph’s characters pant suit done for SNL last Saturday? Now THAT was quick from the time Ms Harris stepped on stage when she was introduced as Vice President elect.
Usually I’d be firing up the snow thrower by now Dave but I think I may have one more cut of the grass before the lawn mower goes away. You are spot on with your reason for the spikes world wide in cases. People are getting WAY to lax. Numbers edged up here after Thanksgiving. Something The US still has to deal with. With the cooler weather people are heading indoors for everything and not taking proper precautions. The way things are going it’ll be Spring of 2022 before our border reopens to non essential visitors!
A better nights sleep Karen? I sure hope so.
If I’m going to get my Honey Soy Glazed Chicken with greens and carrots over Jasmine Rice done I best get my butt in gear.
You all stay sanitized and safe. Wash those hands and wear those masks!

Good afternoon all.

Bill, as a kid we used to do the same thing with potatoes, sometimes it was even in a garbage burn pile. They were so good done that way, especially on cold days.

So BB, you like burning pine, huh? Had you gone through two months of wild fires you wouldn’t feel the same.

Enjoyed the phone call Kathie.

Karen, I resigned from our HOA back in April because of my health. I always enjoyed ny time on the Board for the eleven years. The board is not very active now. So enjoy it and have fun.

Lee, that must of been a culture shock for your neighbor moving from Gilroy to Amherst burg. I don’t hear you talking about Wendells anymore. Have you thought about hooking up with another dealer?

Dave, thanks for doing so much for showing support for Joe and Kamala. I love seeing their smiling faces on TV. Do you think trump has been put in a psychiatric ward yet? That guy needs major help.

Good evening from soggy, wet Belleview!! It's been raining hard here off & on all day...and tomorrow they are calling for more rain & tropical storm force winds...just ducky!!

Dave, glad to hear the snow blower fired right up...hopefully it will be a mild winter & won't get much use...

Pat, how cool to have a front row seat to the movie filming...I'm sure there will be a lot of editing in that film before it done...lol...

Lee, I did sleep a little better last night..thank....I also picked up some new Melatonin today so hopefully that will do the trick tonite....your dinner sounds delish btw!!

Bill, I've never heard of baking potatoes in the leaf pile...but some of my uncle's used to do the cooking on the manifold of their car....they used to go deer hunting up in Mich. and would put dinner on the engine when they left home....by the time they got to camp & set up it would be ready to eat....

Kathie, glad to hear the end of medical testing is in sight...I bet the Dr. wishes all her patients were as organized as you are...these days it really seems to be necessary to stay on top of everything they are doing...

Tony, I can't imagine serving on our HOA board for 11 years....I have my doubts about being on it for 3 years....

And yes...it appears to be official....I am now the VP of the Villa's of Belleview HOA....I got a call from the treasurer welcoming me to the board...Yesterday was the deadline for applying to run...and since only 2 of us applied for the 2 available seats there will be no election....and I'm SURE there will be some owners in here who will be all up in arms over that...but they had over a month to get the resume turned in...should be an interesting 3 years....

Once again it's time to say good night from this little corner of Florida. Just got home from dinner at Tarantino's. It was so good. I have half my dinner as leftovers and I even got a cannoli to go for a bit later tonight.

Karen - Stay safe tonight.
See you all tomorrow. :)

Madam V.P. Let me be the 1st Bunny to congratulate you on your new position in the Belleview HOA. Give'm H!LL girl!!

SAN: Nice chatting with you and Nancy today. Not often I actually hear the cell phone ring and it happened to be when I was running through Costco for a couple of things. Actually, 5 items today! Glad I was able to call you back later. You sounded really GREAT! Keep up the good work and DRINK THE DAMN WATER! LOL

So let me tell you about my Shingles COST Investigation today.
I know that our Kroger's grocery store told me that the cost for 1 shot was $250 x 2 =$500 for each of us. That's $500 for me and $500 for Art. We never bothered to ask if our insurance covered it when they told us the initial cost.
Well, today while at Costco and in the Pharmacy area I decided to ask how much Costco charged for the Shingle Shots!! With No insurance it is $175 x 2 = $350 for each of us.
Okay, so I asked what it would be with my insurance. The nice lady said if I went to the other window the "nice lady" over there would enter my insurance information into the computer and let me know! So I did just that. Long story shorter...(ha ha) when she got done asking me all kinds of questions for the computer she said it would be $5.00. Yup,
FIVE BUCKS for each shot. That would be $10 for 2 shots for me and $10 for Art.
Gotta love the good health insurance coming through. Needless to say we WILL be getting our Shingle Shots as soon as I get up enough nerve to do it! LOL

Okay, folks....I'm out of here for now. You all PROMISE to wear your MASKS and WASH your HANDS and even throw your clothes into the washer after coming home from grocery shopping or whatever.
The VIRUS is on the RISE AGAIN big time. If you don't believe me........just go to Costco and notice that they DO NOT HAVE TOILET PAPER at all! o_O :emoticon 0121 angry::emoticon 0179 headbang: The Hoarders are starting up early! LOL And YES, I would have been one of them if they had any TP to be had!

KC: Hope you sleep better tonight.

G’night friends. You all sleep tight.
‘specially you our Madam Vice President.

Congratulations Vice President KC! No one is demanding a recount?

I finally got a bottle of Irish Mist, BB. The one I got is Irish Mist-Honey. Most vodkas are 40% alcohol, which is considered high. (My normal booze of choice.) So I was surprised that Irish Mist is 35%.

"Do you think trump has been put in a psychiatric ward yet?" Not yet San. But for the Buffoon, it's inevitable.

Great video K2. What are you going to add to your social calendar to make up for not having any doctor's appointments till January? Kathi tried to book an appointment yesterday and the lady said that they only had openings in late December, so just book one in early January when her insurance renews. So she did.

Sounds like pickle ball is a fun game, Lee. Thanks for explaining it. I'd be curious as to how they gave it that name. As you know, Americans can be quite arrogant at times. So we too undoubtedly will have an upsurge in Covid cases shortly after Thanksgiving. Remember that Sturgis motorcycle rally? That was a super-SUPER spreader.

After skyrocketing Covis cases, the Ohio governor mandated masks, yesterday afternoon. For both people and businesses. Fines too. (I like that guy, but to me he always looks like Mister Magoo.)

Grocery shopping day. Smaller store.

Good morning bunnies everywhere!
Lu-Ann was a guest speaker at a ZOOM meeting this morning with a nursing class at Conestoga College. The topic was Parkinson's. As always I was very proud of her when she was approached and agreed to do it! She has another class to attend tomorrow afternoon.
While I do miss Wendell's and camaraderie between most of the drivers Tony I really don't, for now, have any plans of hooking up at Racicot, Provincial or Motor City Dodge. Racicot is here in town and the other are the closest in Windsor. I checked out the local guy and while they pay more per hour they don't pay cash so it adds to your income and tax bracket.
That's a heck of a savings for the shingles vaccine Kathie. Here the shots cost the same as the pneumonia and flu shots. That would be $0.00. Whether you get them at Costco, the pharmacy to the doc's office.

I get to have that Chest X-Ray on Thurs at 5:20 pm. So that's not too bad. Boob smashing Nov 25th and the MRA of the brain again in December.
Those don't count as doctor's appointments? Not quite 50F under beautiful sunny skies. I bet Art's out on his bike today!
So Pat, what was on the menu at Tarrantino's last evening? Did you hear any more about the film crew and what they were doing? when we were last in Hawaii they were filming a scene from
Five-O across from our hotel. They said that you were allowed to walk around the area as long as you didn't look at the cameras. I think our part was left on the cutting room floor. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:
Again Karen, congratulations and good on you for joining "The Board". If it weren't for the reasonable people like yourself and our esteemed member in Gilroy these things would fall to pieces or the idiot fringe would take them over and that's never good! Basically, that is why GiNA (our old Greyhound adoption group) folded. We couldn't get new faces to join the board and keep things going.
Ya Dave, I don't know where this whole COVID thing is headed. Our Premiere who we thought was doing such a good job in the beginning seems to be afraid to "pull the trigger" and lock non essential things down again. Yet numbers are higher and growing faster than they did in the spring! I admire Governor DeWine for enacting a mask law. Does your state capitol building look like a coconut? I was thinking that "You DeWine in de coconut..." Have a fun day shopping!
Jim and Gail are headed down to Windsor to pick out lighting for their new home. They are bringing Latte who is the other little pup I brought home from FLL. We are going to meet down town for a spot of lunch on Caffeine and Co's patio. It will be fun to see if Ava and Latte remember each other.
Enough silliness and rambling from me for now.
You all be careful, wash your hands, wash you masks, wash your hands again and above all, PLEASE stay out of harm's way.

Good Afternoon! JACK FROST paid a visit earlier this morning. Everything all the lawns and rooftops were FROSTED thanks to JACK! It's sunny and still very BRISK outside, but as long as the SUN SHINES I won't complain. And LEE.....Art put on his warm biking leggings and special warm jacket and went biking. He'll never WALK STRAIGHT again in this lifetime because of his back, but it doesn't stop him from biking. (hunched over is a plus when biking) DUH!!

Lee: How fun that Latte will be able to see Ava. Make sure to let us know how they reacted to seeing each other! And stay safe on ALL these gatherings you and Lu-Ann have been going to lately. This virus is starting to ramp up again and that happens in CANADA as well as the USA!

DAVE: Good for your Governor making Masks mandatory. Make sure you wear your T-Shirt at the grocery store! I've got mine ready for my next trip. I might have to wear it over my jacket since it's so cold out. Our grocery store happens to be very COOL when walking around in it. No way could I take off the jacket while shopping. So OVER IT will have to do.

SAN: I sent off a message to the JUST Thrive friends to see if they would send you some literature. Let me know if you ever get anything. Not sure if they do that or not, but it was worth the try! ;)

Lu-Ann: Kudo's to you for speaking at the Parkinson's Zoom meeting. Being involved in all aspects of Parkinson's is rewarding for you and the others that you reach out to. Good job girl! Are you still doing your exercises at home? Not sure if your new house have a basement for a gym set-up?

Wonder if our Madame VP is busy getting her acceptance speech all ironed out! Hope she still finds time for us on here. She BETTER is all I can say. I wonder if they will have ZOOM BOARD meetings or actually meet at the Pool House and just sit 6 ft apart??

Out of here for now. I need to get going on my Bean Soup. I bought a HAM BONE at Honeybaked Ham the other day and I was amazed at how much HAM was on it. It cost me $11 bucks and was worth way more than that. Art and I had sandwiches from the meat that was still on the bone. This will by far be the MEATIEST BEAN SOUP I've ever made. I never knew they SOLD HAM BONES like that. Look into it folks. Worth the money for sure. Us retiree's could live well off of a HAM BONE from Honeybaked. Now I sound like my grandparents! Ha Ha. Remember that advertisement??
