Return of the Cruising Bunny's....

How worried should I be about BB being in the hospital? Any updates on here or in an E-Mail would be appreciated.

A quiet Friday around here. Didn't go anywhere and didn't do much around the house. We have an old dining room table in the main room in the basement, which comes in useful when wrapping Christmas presents. Spent a bit of time gathering up rolls of wrapping paper and bows and put them in the big box we keep them in and putting it back in the furnace-room. A TV show I wanted watch was coming up so I never got to breaking down cardboard boxes.

I'd say that over 90% of the presents we gave out this year were purchased on-line. So that means that there's a BUNCH of shipping boxes to be broken down. I guess I've put off that chore for long enough.

2 football games I want to watch this weekend. The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. But Nuts! They are both night games. I hate night games because often toward the end of the games I find myself just hoping the game will soon be over.

I think that we all passed worried when we heard Pat was being kept overnight. I hope that, on the bright side, it’s because she likes the concierge service she gets at Celebration Hospital and just wanted a break after the holidays.
All of your boxes Dave reminded me of something I heard the other day. Amazon Canada is planning to train their delivery people to administer the covid vaccines while delivering their packages. All of Canada could be vaccinated by next Wednesday. Monday if you have Prime.
I’ve been up since 4:00 with my old Bear. I need a good bold coffee in the worst way.
Back later.

Helloooooo. Helloooooo.
Yep. That’s an echo alright.
Dave, I do believe there is a party and our invitations are lost in the mail...

Congratulations on the Bill's win, Lee.

I was worried at times.

I was worried at times.
YOU were worried...good thing there was a missed field goal and two turnovers on downs!
Lu-Ann saw on FB that “Momma Bunny” will be a guest of the hospital for another evening.

Hi guys....sorry to hear Pat is still under hospital care for another day or so...but she's hopefully getting the care she needs to get back on the healthy list again...

Lee, hope all is ok with Bear...just a middle of the night potty run?

Dave, at least you are lucky your wrapping area is in the basement & out of site....no sense getting to ambitious about packing everything up...you'll just need to drag it all out again in about 11 months...

Nothing much happening here today...gave Wendy a call to see how her trip to Mass. went....she said she had a good time...but being around little ones for over a week wore her out...
Quite nippy here again today & going down into the low 30's again tonite...I brought a few of my plants into the porch area...and will be keeping that area off limits to Ginger just in case something out there did cause her foaming issue last week...
Catch up with you all tomorrow...

Hi gang. Didn’t have anything to chat about so I gave you all a break.

BB: If you’re reading along we all miss you here in the HUTCH. And Publix’s is a out to go into Chapter 11 without your business.
Try and sign on and tell us what they’re doing to you and just how crowded it is in the hospital? Hope you’re nowhere near the COVID PATIENTS. GET BETTER.

My neighbor next door saw me in the kitchen window and was in the spare bedroom that faces our house yelling for my attention. I could hear somethingId, but didn’t know it was him until I opened the window. Anyways I laughed and asked him if he LOST HIS PHONE! He told me that he’s finally feelimg a little better. SaId his temp still goes up and down to 101. Feels like he got run over by a freight train. Aches all over. Lost 10 pounds from not eating and still can’t smell or taste much. His mouth feels metallic. Said he wouldn’t wish this on anybody.

Here’s the rest of the stuff I posted.

3 other people where he works got the virus too.

So I’m telling you all this so you are all very careful while OUT and ABOUT.
I went to the Italian market to get some veggies and came right home. I need gas in the car, but it can wait.
Made us deep dish homemade Pizza tonight. I must say it was actually fsntastic.
Made a 9x13 and then had enough dough left over and made a medium round one and put it in the freezer for another day.

Oh and I gave Artie a HAIRCUT. It looks good. He’s a horrible client...doesn’t tip.
Told me to go and buy myself a nice Starbucks drink. I asked if he was paying and he said no he was RETIRED! Cheap SOB. Ha ha.

We watched 3 more episodes of the Ozarks again tonight. 7 more to go!

Hope you all had a good day.
Karen...30F is just wrong. Stay warm.

Night from Macomb gang. Prayers BB will get better.

My goodness, it's been awfully nice not hearing about another Tweet" the Buffoon made.

It's appreciated that Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram have told the dictator-wanna-be to "Put a cork in it"

Next year we may actually bring out our full sized roundy-roundy Christmas tree , KC.

K2; Couldn't your sick neighbor just have called you instead of getting within virus sharing distance??? Has his brain conked out too???

Oh here's something that I've been thinking about. You Bunnies now calling each other by your names, instead of K2, KC, PQ, BB, Negs, and San. Lee & me seemed to be the only ones called by name. (Why did you Bunnies start that in the first place, so many years ago?)

After years of using these nicknames, it's just natural for me to use them. I don't even think about it when I'm writing. Maybe that will change.

Oh goodie.......another electronic gadget craps out here, that needs to be replaced. Her smart phone. It's refusing to sinc with her Fit-Bit like it used to. Since it starting not sincing with her phone around the time of her fall she figured that the fall broke it, and bought a new one. Well, the new one won't sinc up either. After hours on the phone with AT&T, who she got her phone from, they couldn't fix the problem either. Get this....they actually told her, "well your phone IS 4 years old".

Would you consider it normal to expect your microwave to die after only 4 years of use? I've come to believe that all these expensive electronic gadgets are not designed to last. (END OF RANT.)

All of you Bunnies, find something today to make you smile. You'll find it even if you only give it 1/2 a try.

I don’t know about where you all were yesterday but we had a cracker of a day here! Bright sun, temps that hit 40F and people were smiling. I think. Their eyes looked like they were smiling. We, like many other folks, went for a nice long walk yesterday afternoon. When we got home I made roasted red pepper and tomato soup with a little pesto drizzled over when I put it in the bowl.
Dave, I just figured everyone else using an alias was either a fugitive or in witness protection. I thought that when we moved to the new hutch we were gonna use our real names. I like calling people by name. You see, my Dad once told me the only thing a person truly owns is their name so try to use it and get it right. Kathi’s phone must be the trump model. It’s done after 4 years too.
Kathie, it’s not so much Publix that you need to worry about with Pat in hospital it’s the wine stores! :p That’s too funny about your neighbour resorting to good old fashioned “hollerin’” from next door. You need a couple of tin cans and a long string. It’s good to know he’s feeling a tad better. I can’t believe a gentleman like Art would stiff the hair stylist. Especially if she did a good cut.
Old Bear sometimes, like Old Lee, just can’t make it through the night Karen. He’s such a good guy to tell us he needs to go out, no matter the time, and won’t pee in the house. I bet you had an extra blanket on last night!
Hoping that the rest of the gang, wherever they’re at, are all doing well.
You all have a wonderful day!

Good afternoon.
Pat/BB: is coming home today per her post on her FB page.
Dave: I think way back when the Bunny Board was started SAN/TONY handed out initials for peoples real names. I think it saves time when posting. Might have had to do with identity protection since it’s a public board. Someone on here must know the answer.

Now how I was given K2 by SAN was that my sign on started with 2 K’s. KathieKata. Hence, K2 !
San = San Jose where he lived before moving to Gilroy.
KC = her first and last name initials.
There were others that I don’t know. Also some that left this group. You might get Tony to explain it better.
I will continue to ho back and forth. Hope it won’t bother anybody. It’s quicker too.
Remember YOU were FD or Father Dave for a long time! Can’t remember why?

It was a drastic change in temps here when I got up this morning. 22F. Brrr cold.

Lee: How does Bear let you know he has to go outside? Does he come in your room and nudge you with his long nose?? Or growl? I’m surprised the others don’t get up and go out with him! Your soup sounds yummy and rich. If you have any leftover soup you could make a No Knead bread that you bake in a covered earthenware casserole or pot in the oven. They are easy and crusty. Google recipes. Would be hood with any soups.

You are so right about BB and the WINE Shops missing her. One thing we know for sure is that drinking wine didn’t help her breathing issues any!
And FYI: Our houses are way more than 6 feet apart. So the talking between houses was safe.
Out of here for now. Need to turn on the Fireplace.

Hello everyone stop by and let us know how you are doing and maybe what you’re doing too !

KC: Any warmer by you?

I’m going to start vacuuming Pat’s cubby...and the rest of the hutch. I heard that she’s comin’ home today!
What an excellent message from a former Republican Governor Kathie!

I AM HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doctor released me this morning. Seems like I had fluid in my one lung which was making it hard for me to breathe. Got to the hospital around noon on Friday. Didn't get into a room until 3 AM!!! On top o that they of course did a COVID test and it came our negative
but the powers that be decided they should do it again. The results of which hadn't come back you, a\o they made a brilliant move and put me in the COVID ward! Man, was I pi$$ed when I found out and told them that as soon as those results came back, I wanted to get the hell out of that room. I finally got the results and transferred to another room around 5, when it was too late for Bert to visit me. Finally this morning when a pulmonologist from the same office as my doctor came in, he told me my numbers were much better and if I was up to it, I could go home. What a dumb question. Of course I wanted to go home.
Bottom line was that I had fluid in my one lung and a touch of pneumonia. I do not have COVID and I am not diabetic, based on the times they stuck my thumb. I can have a normal diet, including wine, so life is good. Just just have to take a few prescriptions for infection and to build my lungs back up and I will be good as new.

I really missed you all. I can't get cruise addicts on my useless cell phone and I didn't have my laptop, so I had to rely on people passing on FB messages. Plus the worst part - TV in the hospital only got faux news and no MSNBC! Bunch of repubs over there!!!

Got a few mental images I have to get out of my head involving tutus and crotchless panties. I feel like my mind needs to be wiped clean, so I can start over! LOL

It's great to be back with my favorite people! Love you all for all your concern about me. :emoticon 0152 heart:

WELCOME BACK to the HUTCH. (Lee....excellent job on cleaning out all those old wine bottles under BB's cot. Hmmm, I wonder what else you found, but I won't ask!! LOL

BB: Seriously, so glad you got out so quick. Now find that breathing gizmo that you must have somewhere in your house and use it 2-3 times a day to get the "BALLS UP TO THE TOP" and keep those lungs OPEN and clear. Don't give me any *)&)( , just do it. You scared all of us with this quick trip to the hosp. But we're proud of you for not stalling and that you just went.
Now about the extra tests for Covid. I'd be happy that they were concerned enough not only about YOU, but about the STAFF and other PATIENTS and tested you so much. Good for the hospital on that. Shows they're doing their job.

Art was wondering how OLD your tubing is on your oxygen machine? Might need replacing if it cracked. Can't hurt to ask.
TAKE CARE and get some REST. And NO FAMILY COOKING for at least a WEEK! Let them fed for themselves. Sit on your nice Lanai and breath in some fresh air. Love ya kiddo.

Lee: We thought that was a excellent video from the California guy too. What a mess our country is in right when we're trying to swear in a new President. The WORLD sure did get a good laugh this past week from us. Such a shame. And the darn GOP's could have settled all this when the T-man was Impeached 2 years ago over the Russia probe. Tell that to the lady from Alaska who flips back and forth all the time. Says she might leave the GOP party. I'll believe it when she does it. Also, Susan Collins......what a work of art that broad is. She's always ready to convict until it comes right down to doing it. Faux Senator that just got re-elected. Everybody doesn't know HOW!! Hears her latest statement. On the fence again of course:

WASHINGTON D.C., DC — According to her staff, Maine's Republican Senator Susan Collins is "outraged" by the violence at the Capitol, won't comment on impeachment at this point.

Okay, out of here to put together a Shepard's Pie for our dinner. Quick and easy.

We too are glad (relieved? Ya, I think so) to have you safe at home Pat. Although reading quickly I wondered how they knew you didn’t have covid or diabetes by the number of times you sucked your thumb. I reread the “stuck your thumb” part again.
Kathie, you asked about Bear. He comes to the bedroom door and nudges it. Then he paces a bit in the hall until I hear him and get up with him. He’s a good boy. If you eat The Shepard’s pie what will he eat?

Pat, glad to see you are safely home & back in the hutch....sorry we didn't have enough time to re-stock the wine fridge for you...:beer2:

KC: That statement was priceless! Ha ha.

Lee: I’m signed up to get to watch this guys video’s and Drone videos from Sarasota and today he posted FROM DISNEY SPRINGS! Brought back great memories of going there almost ever mid- day! Thought YOU and Lu-Ann would like to take a walk Larry L.
By the way The Shepard’s said they were tired of eating the same pie all the time, so they at the leftovers.

Welcome home BB. Glad that you came through this OK. You did have us all worried

Kc, glad you had some time with Wendy. She’s a nice lady. How come you haven’t adopted a stray cat the last couple years?

Thanks for Arnold’s video, K2. I have shared it with friends on Facebook.

Who’s idea was it to assign a cot to BB? I have a King Size Bed in the hutch.

FD, I can easily go back to initials for our names.

LP, Levi is getting good at letting them know that he needs to poop/pee. They have a bell hanging on the patio door that both Poet and Levi ring when they have to go out.
