Good morning, wabbits! Seeing the soggy weather you Yankees are getting, I figured I better see what we have to look forward to. Let me just say no ice, snow or rain coming this way. I hope Rita & Bill packed their bathing suits!!

San - Wishing you a safe trip today and I hope you and Nancy, as well as the rest of the family, have a Happy New Year.

Lee - Thanks for that comparison between Canadian and Californian populations. I would never have believed it was possible that the numbers were so very different.

K2 - So where is my beef stew? I checked and there was nothing outside my front door. You sure were nice to spread the wealth like you did. I'm sure they were all happy to get the stew and/or the rice pudding.

This must be med pickup day. Lee & David get meds for their dogs and Bert gets meds for me. Sounds like a fun way to end the year.

KC - I too think you should get the vaccine when it's available in Ocala.

Can't believe I started this post this morning and never got to post it.

Good morning all.
It seems to me that one of the ladies on here could use some shrinkage.

Leaving at two o’clock to head North.
Everybody on here, please stay safe. Happy New Year.

Good late evening.
I've been sitting at this desktop computer and the 3 other devices that are in this room talking with the NICEST GALS at Apple Care. They went out of their way to fix WHATEVER THE HE!! was wrong with Art's cell phone and my cell phone e-mail area. I don't know who did what, but it sure was nice to get it all fixed. I had to call back one extra time to find out where ALL of ART's precious files and information in them disappeared to. The 2nd NICE GAL was able to fix that and Art had no idea that all his biking information that he saves and videos was ever missing!
I just don't get PAID enough for all the work I do in this Family Business! Ha Ha.

SAN: I don't think I ever remember a man thinking women could use some shrinkage. That is if it's in the part of the anatomy that I'm thinking of!! Just admit that I did a good "touche" on you earlier and leave it at that. Ha Ha
Safe driving up to McCloud. Don't overdue your ATV'ing. You don't want to pound those bones of yours too much until you get your padding back!! LOL

Happy New Year to you and your entire family. WEAR THE MASKS.

I'm more than tired and need to pop a Advil or Tylenol. I feel a little "tingle" in the distant part of my lower JAW. It's going to be a long 8 days until I get to that Dentists office. Hope this ache gives me a break. It got me up at 4:45 -5:00ish this morning.

Out of here for now.

Can you believe that tomorrow is NEW YEARS EVE?? Or if you're reading this on Thursday it's today! Ha Ha First time in a LONG, LONG time we won't be going to dinner and then to one of our friends houses after to wait to RING IN THE NEW YEAR. Bummer. But you couldn't catch me at any bodies house with this Covid crap going around. We'll have a few snacks I have in the refrig and hopefully catch the BIG BALL in EMPTY NYC and hit the sack.

Checking out here in Macomb. See ya all tomorrow. THURSDAY.

By the way lots of ugly things going on in Washington today. Some idiot is going to contest the nomination vote. Wants to suck up to Trump. He just got in the Senate in 2019 and everyone says he's a real work of art. Wants to run for office in 2024! Unreal.

Lets just say that this morning's breakfast is not for the faint of heart.

My Arizona daughter gave me a couple cans of super hot chili for Christmas, made by Hormel. The first one I'm trying is made with ghost peppers. And they claim it to be the hottest chili in the world.

So I very gently tried a very small spoonful. WOW! My mouth was on fire, and I was about ready to start chugging some milk.

So it was time to dilute this with some of our own medium-hot chili. 50/50. Still way too hot. So it was time for 2 small scoops of the ghost chili and 4 of our chili. Still too burning, but close. So I mixed in 1 more scoop of our chili. Finally. Still mighty hot, but no longer lethal. Although I doubt any of you would like it like I do.

I guess I should check now to see that we are stocked up on toilet paper.

Oh you Canadians are such a kind bunch, Lee. With California's larger population than Canada, and you guys having such a large land mass, I figure that it's just your polite way of social distancing during this pandemic.

I've never heard of that problem before, K2. Where Art's E-mails show up on your phone. Glad Apple figured it out.

Kathi spent an hour on the phone yesterday with AT&T. Recently her Fit-Bit hasn't been syncing with her smart phone. Problem still not solved.

BB; I hope that all your medical appointments have been made for the beginning of 2021. Every year, right after the first of the year, doctors get deluged with requests from people wanting to get in.

Can't think of anything we HAVE to do today.

It was always so far away. So it's hard to believe that today is the last day of 2020.

And so dawns yet another overcast morning.
A segway into the passing of Dawn Wells. The perky Mary Anne on Gilligan’s Island. When I was a young fella one of the burning question “Ginger or Mary Anne?”. At 12 years old my crush was on Mary Anne.
Geez Dave, I can feel the burn from here! And some people wonder why there’s a run on toilet paper.
Karen, I'm glad to hear that USPS has not only found your parcel but it’s out for delivery. If they had waited a few more days your family could have celebrated Serbian Christmas with Kathie.
I hope it wasn’t me that had you up Kathie! I was up letting Bear out about the same time. Sometimes the old guy, Bear, just has to go out. I’m surprised that the dentist didn’t prescribe something just in case there’s a little infection going on. I too am amazed at how pleasant the folks at Apple Care are.

What’s on tap in your neck of The Sunshine State Pat?
We watched Death to 2020 on Netflix. A star studded cast does a hilarious job in this “mockumentary”. Lisa Kudrow nails the press secretary to a ”T”.
We have decided to pack Christmas away today. We’re also going to purge a bunch of Christmas stuff before we put it all away for another year.
I could really enjoy another coffee. So I think I just may.
You all be good. Stay safe and sanitized.

Good late morning Wrabbits.
Lee: You didn’t wake me the other morning! And the dentist prescribed Penicillin 4 times a day..500 mg each! So glad I am not allergic to it anymore. Also, on a Steroid pack for a week to take down any swelling! Without this and a occasional Aleve or Tylenol I would be ripping my jaw out.
Dave: I’m pretty sure this is a Root canal issue. I just had one done in this same area last month. This wisdom tooth has been with me all my life. Finally saying enough is enough! It is hurting a tad as I am posting. Doesn’t like to be talked about. Ha ha.
Hope you don’t set the toilet on fire when you go in there after your burn-out breakfast!

This morning is the Traditional day to strip the beds and put on fresh mattress pads, sheets, blankets etc, etc. Gotta end and start the New Year FRESH!
The water & electric companies are going to love me today for sure!
Karen: Lucky you actually got a reply from the post office. All I get is we’re looking into it!
I called Vista Print and did get a shipping credit on my Vista Print personalized desk calendars that I ordered that are lost somewhere. They are sending me a new order no charge and no shipping charges and even expedited shipping. I’ll believe it when I see it.
Okay gang. Need to check the laundry.
Have a fantastic New Years Eve Day. I’ll be back later.

Time for a Tylenol! Damn it this tooth just won’t leave me alone.

Rita/Bill: Not sure where you are right now, but be extra SAFE while away. This virus is way out of hand. Happy New Year.
We heard from two friends that live in Phoenix they both tested positive 2 days ago. He just retired! Go figure.

Later.

Good afternoon, gang! Where did the morning go? I can't believe I slept until after 10. And now I'm ready to take a nap!!! Definitely have to hopefully stay awake tonight to kick this year out the door.

G&E and the boys are coming over for dinner and may stay for the rest of the evening. I just haven't heard from them yet. Either way, we've got everything covered.

K2 - Sorry your tooth continues to both you. You might be right - sounds like another root canal in your future.
Never heard of that idea of changing beds on NYE. Another Serbian custom?

Dave - So now what are you going to do with the rest of the ghost pepper chili? My father used to always say "You thought it was hot going in, just wait until ..." You can fill in the rest of that line!

KC - Glad your package is finally getting delivered. Bert had to mail out a package this morning. The little one we usually go to is closed for until the 4th, so he had to go to the regular post office. Surprisingly, he was able to walk right up to the window, even though there were plenty of other people there. They were all filling out paperwork to go with what they were shipping. He really got lucky there this time.

Lee - Elderly dogs and like elderly people - They get that middle of the night urge to pee! LOL

I believe Rita is driving down to Florida right now with her Daughter, Lisa, and Bill will be flying down over the weekend.

I have never been so disgusted with prima donna college football players as I was of some of the Gator players last night. 17 players either opted out of the game for the NFL draft or they had the virus. Now the virus I can understand, but the ones who didn't play for fear of hurting themselves show me they have no loyalty to their team. Poor Kyle Trask had to play with 2nd & 3rd stringers with little or no experience. After last night's playing, I'm afraid he can kiss his Heisman chances goodbye!!

On that note, I'm out of here for this year. Have a wonderful NYE, no matter how you're celebrating it this year. Try to stay awake so you too can kick 2020 in the ass out the door!! I will raise my glass tonight in a toast to our hutch, no matter where we're located. May 2021 only bring good things to all of us! Cheers, gang!!:beercheers::cheers:

Good afternoon. Got to McCloud at 10 pm.

At three hours from here heavy rain which turned to snow at the turn off I5. The last 17 miles the roads were treacherous, even though we both have four wheel drive.

Anthony had to plow two feet of snow so we could get to the cabin.
Snow plows were out in force on Interstate 5 and Highway 89, but all were just starting out and clearing the opposite direction to us first.

Interesting trip.

Happy New Year, Bunnies!

Yes, 2020 is all over with. I promise.

New Year's Eve was just Kathi and me. Eating cabbage rolls and kielbasa. Wine for Kathi and vodka and Diet 7-Up for me.

Today it's just Kathi and me again. Plan on watching some New Year's Day shows. I don't know how they are going to pull it off, but NBC and the Hallmark Channel will be broadcasting the Rose Parade at 11 this morning. (Probably the same way they handled the Macy's parade on Thanksgiving. A bit live, a bit recorded.) And if I remember right, Hallmark's will be commercial free.

Heck of a time to get a tooth-ache, around the holidays, with most doctors not seeing many patients. Am I right K2?

That's about it from me this morning.

Wishing you all a healthy and safe year.

And just remember; It doesn't have to be a perfect year to be a wonderful year.

Good first day of 2021 Friends.
We were done and headed to bed by about 10:30 last evening. Heck of a fine New Years Eve bash though. Virtually of course. At one point there were about a dozen revellers on screen. We decided, OK, the ladies decided, that it would be dress up affair. Being good sports most of the guys dressed for the occasion. Well, from the waist up! Doug had a nice shirt and tie - with shorts. I donned my tux. The top of it. I still had my jeans on. And so it went. The ladies all looked lovely as they always do.
Lu-Ann and I do wish a happier, healthier 2021 to all of you.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! May this be the start of a wonderful year for all of us!

Wow! San - That was some weather you had going. Have fun with the family and please do not overdo it. They want to keep you around and so do we!

Sounds like you all behaved last night. Good for you. We didn't spend the evening alone. G&E were here for that gourmet dinner I made. Good thing we were missing the 2 oldest boys. Obviously 18 eggs is no longer enough with this crew. They ate every last morsel of food. Had to break out some snacks afterwards to see then through to midnight.
We had on CNN and watched Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen do shots all night. Really weird to see how they handled Time Square, but it worked and that was the important thing, right?
Glad we got the Christmas tree down on Wednesday. We had a clear view of all the fireworks that were being shot off over the lake. Even after we went to bed, some people were still setting stuff off. I think this is a southern thing, as we never had fireworks for New Year's. Here there were big tents all over the place selling all sorts of stuff. I still find it very strange, but I like seeing fireworks, so I enjoy it.

Time for lunch. Have a wonderful day and I'll be back later. :) :)

Happy New Year all my Wrabbit family! Yup, we’re family more than friends!
We managed to stay up to watch the NYC Ball come down!
We were watching the Ozark series movie. Watched 3 series from Season 1 and the last one ended at 11:58 pm. Talk about good timing!
Didn’t toast the New Year with any spirits. Forgot about them! Duh!
Sounds like you all had a nice evening booting 2020 OUT and WELCOMING 2021 aboard!
I did take a sauce-pot and metal spoon out on the front porch and banged it and screamed: Out with 2020 and ALL THE BEST IN 2021 to all! Not sure anybody heard me from all the firework bombs going off and I know I heard guns going off.

Tony: Thanks for checking in. That was one treacherous drive up to the cabin. Sure glad Anthony has that big tractor-plow handy. The kids are going to have a BLAST in the snow today. The best of both worlds. SUN and Warmth at home and Snow & Fun at the cabin. Enjoy your time there. And all the best coming home. SLOW & STEADY.

Dave: Sounds like you ate and drank well last night. The tooth actually behaved last evening and through the night for a change. But as soon as I say that it acts up. Thank goodness for the meds the dentist ordered.

BB: Nice you had G&E to clean up all your food last night.
KC: How was your evening?
Lee: I like the idea of getting dressed up for the Zoom party. Thanks for the video card. How dod BEAR do with all the gun type sounds outside! Man they went on for a good 45 mins over here.

We just had snacks over here. Homemade Guacamole w/Tortilla chips and Salsa Con Queso. Spicy cheese dip by Tostitos. It was just spicy enough. Wish I had bought some Ground Beef to sautee and make Nachos....next time.
I did manage to put away a few Christmas decorations and gifts! Turned on the Fireplace to make it a cozy New Years Day.

We are suppose to get FREEZING RAIN. All the stations are in full FEAR SCARE mode for the ICE coming.
Our Ashley insisted on being up at her apartment for her LAST DAY as a college renter. Hope she has enough sense to come home before the freezing rain starts. Those freeways out in the farm land of East Lansing and most of the way home make a lot of BLACK Ice blowing over the road. Scary as all get out.

Wishing you all a Fantastic and Healthy 2021. Going to moan and groan about NOT venturing down to Florida, but hopefully I’ll live through it! NO I WON’T....but that’s life. It beats getting sick and possibly dying just to be by the water.
Later gang.

Rita/ Bill.....be safe.

Happy New Year all. About 19 years ago was the beginnings of our wonderful group.

Lot of snow outside, more coming over the next three days.

New vehicles never cease to amaze me. On the way here, when I got on icy highway 89 the Silverado stated to get sideways. Before I could go into correction mode, the truck straightened itself out in a blink of an eye. I had it in Auto 4X4 so four wheel drive went active too. It’s called Stabilitrack on GM vehicles, but most brands have their own systems.

Had a nice start to 2021 yesterday. We both found our $600 federal stimulus checks in our checking account. Add to that was last night's 49 to 28 win by THE Ohio State Buckeyes.

So much for watching the Rose Parade yesterday. It turned out to be nothing more than a documentary on past parades and its' history. Which may explain why Hallmark had commercials this year.

We too watched the ball drop on CNN with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen. I think I watch those 2 every year just to watch Anderson Cooper slowly get sloshed. (Actually I woke Kathi up at 11:55 PM.)

That was a neat idea Lee for everyone to get dressed up for your virtual New Years Eve Bash.

BB; That would be cool to watch the fireworks above the lake. And its' reflection on the water.

Happy to read that Ashley made it home all safe and sound, K2. I heard that there was some crazy old lady out screaming on her front porch in your neighborhood as the new year came in. Do you know anything about that?
1f61b.png

Make any snow angels yet San?

So how did your new year's eve go KC?

As usual, nothing planned for today. It should be cold but dry all day.
