Return of the Cruising Bunny's....

Good Morning Monday GIF by DINOSALLY

Good Morning Wrabbits! Nice weekend even though it rained in the afternoon and onward.

Nice to know it's not just Art and I going to the Dentist this morning.
Art's temporary crown fell off last night. How TIMELY! Ha Ha.

You all behave and I'll be back later to chat.

We're off to the East side of town. Hope the freeway traffic isn't too back during rush hour!

Real Quick. This is the St Sava Church that had the horrible fire in New York City years ago.
The City allowed them to come into the church for Easter services. The "Faithful came". How beautiful. Just had to share these pictures with you. Slowly it's being rebuilt. This was just a empty shell a few years back. It doesn't look like much, but they have rebuilt the the roof, the side walls and the back dome.

Good morning! Keeping with what everyone else has been saying, rain, mainly thunderstorms, started yesterday evening and continued off and on all night. Woke up this morning to very grey, dark skies and lots of loud booms of thunder. After a terrible night's sleep, seeing what it looked like outside, I stayed in bed until almost 10! Rain has finally stopped, but it is chilly outside and is supposed to make it up into the high 70s this afternoon. If the sun doesn't come out, I don't see that happening.

Lee - You're right about going through any type of metal detector. They did give me a card that I would have to show. Believe me, I don't intend to be going very far wearing this straight jacket. Good luck with that dental appointment this morning. By now it is long over, I would hope.

Dave - You're right about the political ads that make no mention of party affiliation. I guess they hope you like what you hear and will vote for that person regardless of their party. Pretty sneaky, if you ask me.

Kathie - Glad you're feeling better. Your Easter dinner sounds pretty good to me. I hope your dentist visits went well this morning also.
Here's another one Tony would have had a field day with ... I managed to put a bra on this morning and within a short while, I started setting off all sorts of alarms. That just wasn't going to work, so off the bra came.

Nancy - I think you probably got more rain than we did here.

Bill - When do you start PT and how often will you have to have it?

A very late good morning. Bruce had an echocardiogram this morning. Because my legs were bothering me so bad yesterday I did not go. They are better today. But my arms especially the right is still bothering me a lot. I just need the humidity to go back down as is part of my problem.

Yesterday we got another .10 inches of rain and are supposed to get more today.

Pat we have a weather station on our roof so we do get all the readings, rain amount, humidity, wind speed and direction and of course temperature. And we have just heard the first thunders so guess the rain for today will be here soon.

All have a great day.

Good afternoon! Pat & Nancy you both can quit hogging all the rain anytime now!! We've gotten next to nothing all last week. We "may" have gotten some during the night but it wasn't even enough to wet the roads.

Dave, last time I got a sample ballot in the mail all of the people running still had their party affiliation next to their name. No telling how long that will continue though, politicians want to keep people as ill informed as possible.

Pat, hopefully you won't be in the "straight" jacket for very long. One of my friends in here has a son who had to wear one for several months. He was having major heart problems and nearly ended up on the transplant list. He had a virus attacking his heart, but last I heard he was doing much better & doesn't have to wear the jacket anymore.

Bill, hope the therapy helps with the hip. Hip & back pain is about the 2 worst pains I know of.

Kathie, glad to hear you are feeling better! Your lasagna roll ups sound yum! The church in New York is beautiful, I hope they will be able to get it finished soon & hold regular services again.

Lee, Have fun in Gettysburg! I sure enjoyed visiting there with you all the last time I went.

Grey & gloomy this morning, but the temp was nice & cool so it was a good day for painting Ernie's garage door. I got there at 8 and Deb & her husband Paul had already taped off the edges of the trim & were ready to go. I did the cutting in from the ladder & Deb did the rolling. I don't think it took us much over 15 mins. to get it all done. Her husband wanted to wait 10-15mins and then do the 2nd coat. I said no, you're supposed to wait 4 hours between coats according to the can. He said, well you can, but you don't have to, as long as the paint it tacky. I said with the humidity today the paint will not be tacky in 10 mins, I'll come back in 4 and do the 2nd coat. So he said ok, that would have been a mess putting a 2nd coat on that soon. I went back around 12:30 did the 2nd coat & was done again in 15mins or less. Ernie was thrilled to have it done finally!

Spent some time at the pool yesterday, Barb bribed Jane & I with Sonny's BBQ for lunch if we'd come to the pool with her. We all got in the water because the sun was so HOT, but at 78 degrees the water is still just to chilly for me to enjoy.
That's about it from Sunny Belleview, catch up with you all tomorrow!

Dental ap:emoticon 0102 bigsmile:pt went well this morning. New Crown

is perfect. Dentist took his time making sure it wasn't set too high up.
Art had work done and a temp crown put on and goes back in 2 weeks for final. All I can say is I hope this is the end of these kinds appts.

Gloomy and even some snow showers off and on today. Just a good day to do NOTHING and take a long nap. I guess my body was up to it because I fell asleep for a couple of HOURS after we got home. Felt good. Wish I could do that more often.
Karen: Good for you going into that 78 degree pool. And congrats on the good and quick painting of the garage door. If word gets out your "team" might be doing more of them! :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:
PAT: Remember the ERA of "BURN THE BRA". Your time has come. If you're just at home I wouldn't bother as long as that VEST is on. Does it have alarms that go off if your heart gives you issues?
Nancy: Bummer on your ACHES and PAINS. I know I hate when my knee acts up. I can just imagine how bad it is for all your pains. Take care.
Pat: Art and I were in that Church in NYC before the fire. It was beautiful.
Lee: We are hooked on the MIDWIFE program on TV and the show that follows it, which I can't remember the name. So far they are NEW episodes each week. We have to have the Closed Captions on because the English folks talk so fast.
Okay folks, off to see if I can grab the couch.

Good evening. Well we got .71 inches of rain today and then the sun came out. It looks like we are done with the rain for at least a few days. Karen, we are done with the rain for at least a few days.

My legs are feeling better, hands are hurting less but right hand is still very swollen. Arms are better but neck is hurting and what I have to call tired. K-2, I have had trouble with my knees since I was a teen. I had fallen out of a tree, about 15 to 20 feet and landed on my side with my knees hitting first, and it caused me to have Housemaids Knee, where it is a type of water on the knee but the fluid is in the back and too thick to be drained. And about 20 years ago the right knee had a very torn meniscus that had to be removed, it was just a huge hole. And when I did PT after I found out that I can not use a treadmill as my knees would pop and the therapist said to never get on one. Had to get on one to prove to another therapist that I should not and he had to say the same thing.

Fixed salad for dinner and put some of the ham in it. I tried a dressing that I have seen on Facebook and when looking it up saw it was $6 for a bottle but found it at Publix last week for just over $3 a bottle. Well have to say i will use it up but won't be buying again. I got the Ranch and have to say if it flavorless.

Have to take Bruce to the Endodontist in the morning so have to get up at 6. And I don't like having to get up that early.

All have a good night.

My PT starts on Wednesday and I guess I will find out then just how long or how many sessions I will be taking. Had cardio therapy in the past and it went on for quite a while and I enjoyed it. When I had therapy decades ago for my broken wrist, I wasn't so eager for it to continue but when it finally ended, I did miss it a bit. I suspect Arthur Rightis is playing a role in my discomfort, Dave but hope the therapy will make it a bit less of a problem.
Gray and gloomy seems to be the order for the day just about in ever hutch, so Rita and I took a ride to a nearby casino (not an Indian one) and it treated me quite well. Celebrated by going out to a favorite restaurant in Providence before heading home for the night.
As I type, the Bruins are leading the Panthers and there were some
records broken at today's Marathon.
Sorry that you have to get up so early to get Bruce to the endodontist, Nancy, but I guess we are all sometimes at the mercy of the medical profession when it comes to getting appointment times.

Good morning.
OK, anybody who isn’t seeing a specialist of some sort raise their hands. I don’t mean just today but in general. Anybody?
As Dave, who is usually here by now says, “Gettin’ old ain’t for sissies.”
Currently 32F and snowing.
Have a good one everybody.
Coffee me.

Good MID-MORNING Wrabbits.

Lee: I think we ALL see some type of Specialist. I don't think there are too many GENERAL PRACTIONONERS in business these days. Everybody wants a TITLE to make a little extra money off of us!
And Bill.... I think "Arthur Rightis" gets around to all of us sooner or later. A real PAIN if you ask me! :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

Okay, Mother Nature sure has her panties pulled up tight the past few days. It's 35F here right now and semi-cloudy. Furnace is working overtime. GAS COMPANY loves making a little extra money off of us.

DAVE: Nothing wrong with going back to a nice snuggy warm bed on a day like today. Hope the extra sleep makes you feel better.

I'm off of here and going to go make some Blueberry Muffins. I have some fresh blueberries that keep looking at me every time I open the refrig.
Then I need to pay some bills online.
And then get busy on cleaning the inside of the dresser and end table in the bedroom. Gotta get that ready to put drawers back into them.

Later gang. STAY WARM or DRY or whatever it is your weather warrants. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

Good late morning, everyone! No rain or snow here this morning. Just bright sun and less humidity. Too bad it's only 70. That's too chilly for me to go outside at this point. Hopefully, later this afternoon after it warms up a bit.

Kathie - Yes, this vest has alarms. It will vibrate on my back and then the battery pack shows what the problem is. Usually it's one of the sensors has flipped over. If that's not it, the only time an alarm will sound is when you are about to get ZAPPED by the defibrillator. I don't EVER want that alarm to go off.
I plan to make some blueberry muffins on Thursday for while the kids are here while M&J are in Vegas for his sister's wedding. I also want to make cookies with the kids, but haven't decided what kind yet. It definitely will be something simple. Not up to anything like what I made at Christmas. Maybe some ice box cookies that Bert's mother used to make.

Dave - Good for you going back to bed this morning. I got a lousy night's sleep once again and am going to be dragging my butt all day. Unless I am really sick, I rarely can fall asleep during the day. Unless I am watching TV while stretched out in my wonderful recliner that is!!

Lee - I'm sorry, but there should be a law against that "s' word needing to be used after April arrives. Mother Nature sure is messing with you right now.

Nancy - Got a question for you ... Is there any part of your body that does not hurt? You sure do have a lot of aches and pains!

Bill - Good luck with that PT. Even if Arthur Rightis is there, the therapy should ease the pain a bit. I think I have Arthur Rightis in the big toe on my right foot. As long as I have shoes on it is ok, but trying to walk in bare feet is total torture and I can't put the toe down. One of these days I'll have to pay a visit to the podiatrist again and have him check it out.

Nothing really planned for today. Going to make some filet mignon (only steak I can eat a small amount of) for dinner. Bert will take care of the steaks and I'll make some peppers and onions to go with it. That plus some baby potatoes and a salad should make for a good dinner. We'll have to eat early enough though so that Bert can watch all 3 episodes of the FBI, one of his favorites. That's going to be my chance to fall asleep in my chair. LOL

Time to read the newspaper and to see what deathSantic is up to today. Now in his never ending battle with Disney, he is threatening to build a prison right next to Disney World!! Someone asked if the cells would be Disney themed. Ha Ha!!! That man is is spoiled brat and a bully, if ever there was one!

Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Floridians have a lot of reasons to brag about their state. Unfortunately their governor is not one of them. Looks like he can't keep from coming up with new ways to punish Disney for having the audacity to criticize any of his ultra-right wing policies.
So sad that you are "restricted" to only filet mignon, BB. Such a hardship to endure. Sort of like banishing your kids to their bedrooms where their only means of entertainment are their
iPhone, Etablet, TV and laptop.
Where yesterday was gray, gloomy and drizzly, today is bright and sunny though still a bit chillier than we were becoming used to.
KC, I am sure that Nancy and Pat aren't purposely refusing the share that rain with you and will do everything in their limited power to send some your way.
I don't think that my primary care doctor would be classified as a "specialist" but certainly all of the others that I see regularly would qualify for that category.
Happy to see that all three FBI programs this week seem to be new episodes. Seems that CBS is alternating between new and repeat episodes with all repeats one night and all new the following night. Not sure what the method to their madness can be. I noticed that some (but not all) series are advertising "All New in April". I suppose it does give us a chance to watch shows on other networks to see if we might prefer them.

Made the Blueberry/Lemon Muffins. House smells good and it's nice and warm in the kitchen area.

Speaking of TV programs. I saw a advertisement for Jennifer Gardner TV movie on Apple TV. I don't have Apple TV, but scanned the funny little box that appeared on the TV and we got to watch the 1st Episode of "The last thing my Husband said to me". It was good. Couldn't get Episode 2 without signing up for the Apple TV. Ha ha. They try to suck you in big time by giving you a taste of one episode. It's $7 bucks a month and just not worth it for me to join.

I paid WAY TOO MANY BILLS and feel broke.
One of the doctors that I called to pay a bill over the phone actually charged $1.03 cents for using the credit card. I'll have to remember that next time and either pay the .63 cent stamp or drive by and pay it in person. This time I just wanted it done and over with so I paid the fee.

Off to get a hot cup of coffee. Still only 37F here. Art and his buddies sure will be cold today doing their bike ride. Yes.... they're nuts.

Good afternoon. Well Bruce was in the endo's chair for another 2 hours but he is done with that. Now he can't get in to the regular dentist until May 2 for first visit for the crown but I took that.

It was not easy getting up at 6 this morning and I have to do it again tomorrow and Friday.

Pat, I am sure there are parts of my body that don't hurt but right now not sure where.

All have a great day.

Good afternoon! Started out bright, sunny & chilly this morning now it is down right HOT!!

Lee, I started to raise my hand for your Dr. question, then remembered the dermatologist & ophthalmologist I go to & put it back down.

Kathie, Lemon blueberry muffins sound delish! I hate the places that charge a fee for using your credit card. Technically I believe it's against the law, here in Florida only the state & local government can legally charge the fee. Doesn't stop the other ones from doing it though.

Dave, hope a little extra shut eye this morning does the trick for you!

Pat, your filet mignon dinner sounds pretty tasty too! I keep eyeing the Winn Dixie ad, they've had various steaks on sale the last few weeks for $5.99 a lb. May break down & try to find a small one next time. Steak on the grille, baked potato & corn on the cob sure sounds good!

Bill, I've noticed that on CBS also, never know from one week to the next if a show is going to be new or a repeat. I especially hate it when I've stayed up till 9 or 10 just to watch a show & it's a repeat!

Walked over to the hardware store this morning, I brought home a rolling stool that Jane had & the seat broke on it. It was one of those kind that look like an old tractor seat, but the seat was only made of plastic. I took the broken seat off, but couldn't use the old bolts because they "threaded" into the base of the broken seat. So I ended up buying 4 new bolts, nuts & washers to attach the plywood seat, except dummy me bought bolts that were to short! Luckily I had 4 bolts that would work so I just used the new nut's & washers to attach the new seat. I had a gift card for Ace hardware so I wasn't out any cash & I'm sure at some point I'll be able to use the other bolts.
After that I took my 2 wing chairs that sit by the fireplace outside & sanded down the legs on them. They were getting all scratched & banged up. And I have new slipcovers coming for the chairs so I decided to paint the legs. Got the first coat on & I think they are going to look really nice with the new covers.
Sonny's BBQ has a tax day special today, 1/2 price St. Louis ribs. I'm thinking about getting a carryout order "if" they haven't jacked up the price of them to make up for the "special". It's not available to order online or I would check the price there. Right now they have them for $15.99, so half price would be about $8, not bad considering I'd probably get 2 meals out of them. I'll call ahead to order & see what they say. Now I think I'm going to go put my feet up & relax a bit while the paint on the chair legs dries

KC, if it wasn't for the Guide button on my TV remote I, too, would be staying up to watch a favorite program only to find out it was a repeat.
Sounds like a good deal on that Sonny's BBQ. I don't think that we have ever eaten at one of their establishments but I did become a fan of BBQ a few years back. Best I have had
recently was at BB's when we visited them this past winter.
Was looking forward to having them at the Ocean Grille in Vero shortly after we arrived in Florida in January and saw that they were one of that night's special. Only problem is that apparently that special was the favorite of a lot of other customers that night and when I ordered them the waitress told me that they were sold out.
Blue skies and puffy white clouds have been replaced by gray skies and dark clouds that look like they will bring us some rain later on.

KC: Hope you get to have some of those RIBS and that they’re ON SALE! We have a great Rib place close by, but their prices are OUT of SIGHT. I just have to rely on doing my own when I find Ribs On Sale at the meat market.
Your chairs sound like they will look great all refreshed! Good going.
I ended up spending way too much time paying bulls and never got to the spare bedroom drawer cleaning. Hey, there’s always tomorrow!

Negc: I use the Guide button on my remote to search out a TV show and then see if it’s a REPEAT or NEW. Saves a lot of time. I really like to use it to see if Jimmy Kimbel is New or a Repeat and the other late shows. Sure saves time.

I did get my ribs tonite & they were pretty good. They jacked the price up a little, online they are $15.99 for the meal, the sale today they were $17.99 and half off that. But for a little over $9 I had enough ribs leftover for a meal another day, so can't complain to much.

Good evening. The new med for cholesterol has a side effect of making you tired and it is doing that to me.

Karen, I buy the rib Eye steaks when Winn dixie has the Fri to Sun sale and usually go on Friday. The size of them is very nice and they are at least 1/2 inch thick of thicker.

All have a good night.
