Return of the Cruising Bunny's....

Where ya at Lee" Some 4 legged creature is waiting to go on a walk.

You cracked me up with this comment, BB.;
"Nancy - Got a question for you ... Is there any part of your body that does not hurt? You sure do have a lot of aches and pains!" Trust me, you're not the only one who's been wondering the same thing.

"Hope the extra sleep makes you feel better." That, and big old morning dump, K2.

Sometimes one of those is better than sex. Am I wrong? I don't know about you but I'm thrilled that Fake Fox News is having to pay close to 800 million dollars for lying.

Bill; We tried watching all 3 versions of "FBI", but decided to just watch the original "FBI". It seems that this Writers-Guild strike will initially only effect nightly comics like Colbert & Kimmel since they need the writers every day. Series shows have mostly already been recorded to get them to the end of their season.

You've got me thinking about ribs, KC. Today one of Kathi's sons is getting a new roof put on his house. But unlike you, his insurance is paying for it. Lucky guy. During one of our wind storms some shingles were damaged. But when the adjuster showed up to inspect the damage, he decided that since the roof was 16 years old the whole roof needed replaced instead of just fixing the damaged shingles. Without that windstorm, the son would have to pay for a new roof in the near future.

The pooches go to the groomers this morning. And while they are there, we'll be grocery shopping. And you betcha my chosen junk foods are on the grocery list.

Good morning!

Flexibility ... The need to be able to make changes in an instant. That's what's happening here. As I had said M&J are going to Vegas tomorrow for Jimmy's sister's wedding. We were to get the kids from after school tomorrow until we drop them off on Tuesday morning. Simple, huh? WRONG!! Missy called me at dinnertime to ask if they could drop the kids off already for the night. Seems like they had to drive up to Ocala last night to drop off 2 of their dogs with Laurie and they would get back too late for the kids to go with them. Plus this morning they had to be at Celebration Hospital at 7:45 for Jimmy's pre-op workup. Still not sure what surgery he is having, but I know he will be on a liquid diet until the surgery.
The kids will stay over again tonight, as it turns out their flight to Vegas is around 6 tomorrow morning. Aside from the kids, we are also getting one of the Dogs, Daisy, who is a real sweetheart.
So instead of the other definition of flexibility, you can just say GRANDPARENTS!!!

Bert just dropped the kids at school and he's making a stop at Publix for stuff for dinner that I did not plan for us to have today. They we're off to Orlando to see if we can get some lower car & home owner's insurance. What we have right now is killing us. Home owner's went up over $1,000 in just 6 months! Car insurance is doing the same. We have not had a claim in for either in years and years, but everyone here is getting their a$$ whipped and our wonderful governor is too busy fighting with Disney to try to work with the legislature to see about getting the state better insurance rates. Instead, the legislature is tacking on a 1% fee to everyone's insurance in June to pay for FUTURE possible hurricane damage. If I could think of anywhere else we'd want to live, we'd get the he!! out of Florida. Unfortunately, we don't want to go north. We're getting too old for freezing winter weather.

Karen - Glad you got your ribs. We have 3 racks of ribs in the freezer, but I'm not supposed to eat them now. Bummer, huh?

Dave - So what were to "goodies" you were planning to get when you go shopping? Have you found any new flavored ice cream lately?

Bert just pulled in the driveway, so I better get off here and get ready to go out. Have a wonderful day, everyone, and if I get a chance, I'll drop back later.

Good morning. Done with the Mamo, got there a bit early and was taken early and out of there a few minutes after my appt time. Then went and fill the gas tank and then to Walmart. This morning I dropped my alarm clock and it broke so had to get a new one, done.

Dave, I sure wish I did not have all these pains.

Pat, last year I changed our car insurance to Progressive. It saved us over $2600 a year and that is with insuring 3 vehicles. We have been with Citizens for a few years and since out house was built in 1980 I don't think there is any private company that we can go with.

All have a great day.

Hi Wrabbits!

Got my hair cut and colored early this morning on the East side of town. Down the street from the dentist office. Here's where it gets interesting.

While I was there, I saw that ARTIE was about a mile away. What the heck was he doing way over that way that early in the morning.
Well.......his temporary Crown fell off this morning after I left the house.
He called the dentist and was told to drive on over. (40 min drive)
While the dentist was fiddling with it and trying to re-glue it the temporary crown CRACKED! Ha Ha. Talk about bad luck. So he had to make another one.
At least I know Art wasn't out with a "girlfriend"! Ha Ha.

It's SUNNY, but still cold. 44F at 1:20 pm.

While we were gone USPS tried to deliver a pkg that needed a signature. It was from the NEW and CRAZY Mail-Order prescriptions that the UAW just changed over to this year. Now I have to go and pick it up. Thank goodness the Post Office ANNEX is only 1 mile directly down the street.
ALWAYS SOMETHING!

Lee must still be cozy under the covers! Ha Ha

Pat: You sure do a lot for your kids. But then I guess we all would do just as much when needed. Hope the little kiddies behave for you guys. Just be glad you didn't get 3 big dogs.
Try and pace yourself with all the things you have to do today and until next Tuesday.

Later.......

Back from our insurance adventure. It was a successful trip, as we're saving $1,500 on the household & car insurance. AAA really does have lower rates!

Kids just went back to their house to get the rest of their stuff and will be back in a little while. I think it's time for Bert and I to head for the lanai for a drink before they all come back, and with the dog.

Have a great evening, gang!

Pat: Remember years ago when we were at your house and

BERT SHARED his Coffee Candies from a big plastic jar?
Well, I saved the wrapper ALL these years and finally found them online. Ashley ordered them for me and they came today.

3 - different flavors. Coffee, Espresso and Latte!
250 of them or 2#’s all together. Please show this to Bert and tell him I’ll think of him every time I have one! 8EAE755A-95F3-4384-8B26-B10D9661FED5.jpegA4EBF072-DA2D-4AE1-82C2-67F9E67887F8.jpeg7A6FBAB5-3210-4E26-8575-E9D4A40852C4.jpeg

Good evening from The Quality Inn at Gettysburg Battlefield.
So, was I under the covers this morning? NOPE! Did I let Ava out when I got up to, well, pee at 4:00. YEP. Did Ava and I go for our 1KM walk at 5:30. YEP. Were we on the road at 7:30? YEP.
Did we stop at Panera in Gettysburg for a dinner salad and at the wine store for a bottle of wine? YEP.
Tolls alone will take their toll on us. $28 coming down!
Now, this guy is tired so I’m gonna finish my glass of Snoop Dog Red, take Ava for a walk and call it a night.
Everyone stay well.
See you in the mornin’. Or at some point tomorrow.

Morning Wabbits!

We had a pleasant surprise yesterday. The day started off below freezing but ended up sunny and 65. It was beautiful. (But I've got a feeling that quite a few people around here were back at Lowe's buying more posies to replace the ones that froze.)

That's got to suck BB having all this food in your freezer that you can't eat. But still fix for other people. FANTASTIC savings on your house and car insurance. As to your question about what junk-foods I put on our grocery list; Flamin Hot Cheetos, BBQ flavored pork rinds, and Funyuns.

Great picture of the pooches drinking wine, K2. It reminded me of the picture of dogs playing poker. Wow, two pounds of coffee candy. If you eat a few of those in the evening, would it be hard to sleep at night? Art's just not having any luck with that temporary crown.

It took almost a month for the door-closer to come in but it did yesterday. It's to replace the one that got busted during a big wind storm. It's a dark green. Here's a hoot K2, the door and the closer are made by Anderson.

YEP, it's nice hearing from you Lee. That's a lot of cash just for tolls to get to Gettysburg. Hope you're having fun and some decent weather while you're there.

Howdy to all you Bunnies! Have yourselves a sunny day, no matter the weather.

Good Morning Wrabbits. 43F and climbing today!
It
RAINED through the night. Dry now. The grass is really green and the trees have a lot of White Flowers on them. They look really nice. They don't last long, but they sure do stand out everywhere you look.

Lee: Hope you and Lu-Ann and Ava have a blast at the Grey's get together at Gettysburg.
Should be a REALLY NICE WARM DAY today.

Weather folks calling for it to be 83F in Gettysburg today. ENJOY.

Dave: Glad the Door-Closer finally made to your house. And hope the ANDERSON name makes it a quality product!
By the way I like myself a bag of BBQ Pork Rinds from time to time.

PAT: Hope between you and Bert you don't wear yourselves out watching the Kiddies. It's going to be a long week for you guys. :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

I have nothing else for you folks now. I'm off to get a cup of fresh coffee and a Blueberry Muffin!
Then I need to drive over to the Post Office Annex and pick-up my Pkg from the Mail Order new drug company. I see it's going to be a pain in the butt every time I order something that is on the "Controlled Drug List" and it needs to get signed for to finally get it in my hands.
EXPRESS SCRIPTS never did that. :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

Later gang. Enjoy your DAY and come back and tell us about it.

Why I shouldn’t speed read…
Art is going to Dave’s to close their door.
I repeat…Why I shouldn’t speed read.
Have a fabulous day!

Good morning, fellow bunnies!

Kathie - That is too funny about the coffee candy. I showed Bert the picture and told him how you had saved the wrapper. He thought that was too funny, especially since he hasn't bought any in years. I think he probably forgot about them. I bet he'll now go looking to possibly buy some more.

Dave - Nice choice of goodies yesterday at the supermarket. I too love pork rind. Unfortunately, that's on the no-no list now, so I can only dream of having some.

Lee - You and Lu-Ann have a great time in Gettysburg. Enjoy that warm weather too. It'll be a while before you get to enjoy those temps back home.

Ended up last night having the gang here for dinner. Good thing we had a big enough piece of salmon to go around. We made zucchini & yellow squash zoodles with alfredo sauce. They devoured EVERYTHING. Good thing, as I'm making chicken potpie for dinner tonight.

So far having the kids here has been good. They're a little hard to get moving in the morning, but other than that, they're good. Jennifer is at that moody stage and everything hurts her feelings - raging hormones, for sure. Nate is a great help and does whatever I ask him to do. Daisy, their Shepherd mix dog is a sweetheart. She likes to stay right by me all the time, whether here or at their house. She just loves me!!!

Nothing much going on here today. Either today or tomorrow we will need a trip to Sam's to replenish my beverage of choice. I might need a bit more by the time Tuesday rolls around.

I think it's time for another cup of coffee and to read the newspaper. Have a great day, everyone!

O.K. I am hooked.... I Love coffee sweets.
I used to buy ' Coffee Nips", But now I am interested in the ones that naughty rabbit

Good evening. Well I sat for almost an hour before being called back to see the Dr. And he was please that the shots he gave me last time got rid of the pain. As to the finger not being able to bend he said that is just the arthritis and the only thig that might help would be joint replacement and he said the healing time is not worth it. And then he said unless I start having a lot of pain I don't need to go back. If I get eh pain then call and he will do more shots.

PT today was not too bad and I got massage at the end so that was good. Right now I just have one more session, next Tuesday. And since I see the Dr about the neck next Friday will see if I need to do anymore PT. Tomorrow morning I have the MRI for my neck.

All have a good night.

K2; It sounds like they didn't research that new mail order drug company you have to use now.

Oh Lee, this darn Anderson Company. I'm still waiting on Art to come over and close the door. Have you run into anyone you are familiar with at Gettysburg?

Fess up BB, how many treat have you been sneaking to Daisy?

We lucked out again yesterday. Sunny and into the lower 80's. Of course there's cold and wet days right around the corner.

Good morning, nothing much to yack about this morning. Going to be doing some baking today as I'm going to visit my friend Connie tomorrow & spend the weekend, so I want to take a little thank you treat with me.

Good morning! Bert is off to take the kids to school while I enjoy a cup of coffee in the nice quiet house. The kids are really being good, but it's nice to have some "ME" time, even if it's only about 10 minutes.

Dave - No treats for Daisy. She has a very sensitive stomach and I don't want to upset it. The most she gets isif Cappi doesn't eat all the treats I throw to him, Daisy cleans them up. No problem with 2 or 3 of those tiny things.

Karen - Enjoy your visit with your friend. Have fun this weekend!

Nancy - How many different doctors do you go to? Just curious.

Not much planned for today. I'm finally going to make those blueberry muffins that I promised the kids. Might also make a trip to Lowes to pick up some new herbs for my herb garden. While we're there, I want to see if I can find a nice jasmine plant. I want one for right outside the screen enclosure. If they have the right variety, they smell so nice.

It's going to be a quiet weekend here of just us and the kids. That's going to mean lots of time to play games. The kids are also invited to our friend's house, if they want to go swimming. For us that will mean a glass of wine while sitting by their pool. Life will be good!!

Bert's back, so now it's time to figure out the game plan for our day. Whatever you have on tap for the day, have a good one!

Rainy Day Rain GIF by Simon Super Rabbit
Not hard, but still it’s wet out there right now! I just wish we would get a HARD RAIN to wash down the pollen!
KAREN: How fun going to visit Connie over the weekend! Safe travels! Enjoy.
I wish I had a close friend in Hawaii to go visit for like a MONTH! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:
BB: Nice to know that the kids are doing good so far. Have fun on e you get to the pool.
LEE / Lu-Ann / Ava: Did a few of your friends from years past show up? Need a few pictures!
Negc: How’s your HIPS doing? I bet this damp dreary weather never helps.

Dave: Art said he’d try and fit you into his schedule to fix that ANDERSON door latch. Meanwhile, he said just follow the instructions and it should save him a long trip!
I felt like some Crepes this morning, so I made us a batch. We like them sprinkled with Cinnamon and Sugar and rolled up. YUM!
Okay, time to get busy around here. Be back later!
