Return of the Cruising Bunny's....

Welcome Home Homeowner GIF by Ruoff Mortgage
YOU WERE MISSED. I love your style BB.... gets home and pours herself a glass of WINE! Too funny. Hope you're lungs are feeling a lot better.

LEE posted: If we can get in we’ll try to catch The Skyliner at the right time. It’s a great place to watch the fireworks from various Disney parks.
You need to add this information to your pamphlet that you REALLY SHOULD CREATE on what to see and how to get around Disney without a huge charge.
By the way it's doing a good job of RAINING here right now and freezing too. Jill's further up North by 45 mins and it shows it's snowing there. We'll get it next.

When I went to the bank just after 10 am it was sleeting and crunchy in the parking lots. When I went to the Wine Shoppee (had to make sure to get my favorite wine in case we get trapped inside) one lady slipped next to her car and was just getting up. She said she was alright. I had to be extra careful walking next to my car.

I came home and worked for the last 3.5 hours making DOUGH and Nut filling to make nut rolls tomorrow. My back told me NO WAY are you rolling those nut rolls for hours tonight.
Should be a piece of cake with everything that I did today.

Negc: I'm glad you got to read the books and are moving along reading more. Such a shame about the lady getting attacked and dying from the Alligator. That would just be a horrible.

I'm off to rest my BACK for 1/2 hour and then get UP and get us dinner.

I'll come back and report if we start to get any big amount of snow here LEE.
I think so far that the weather people did their usual OVER KILL for the morning and afternoon at least in our area. Jill did say it was bad up by her. She's 45 mins away.

Hoping you’re resting at home Pat.
Parkesdale was “OK” Kathie. Not as many berries on the shortcake. A shortcake (no extras like ice cream) and a shake were $10.50. Afterwards we went to Keel and Curley’s winery. True Blue is better. Home was bracing for ice today as well but so far it’s just rain.
We saw that incident Bill. We have to wonder if the lady didn’t see or wasn’t aware that the alligator was there.
So Nancy, who got the Baby Jesus in The King Cake?
Music. Everyone hears it. Some of it we enjoy some we don’t. Yes, we like country but from the 70’s and 80’s. The stuff now sounds for the most part like head bangin’ rock. Most of you know that Lu-Ann and I are Parrotheads. So along those lines we like also ”soft” rock, some folk and of course 60’s Gold on Sirius. How ‘bout all of you?
We may head to The Boardwalk tonight. If we can get in we’ll try to catch The Skyliner at the right time. It’s a great place to watch the fireworks from various Disney parks.
See you later.
Neighbor from the end of the street got the baby.

Pouring rain outside right now. NASTY. News stations are telling people to stay off the roads and especially overpasses. FREEZING!

Well BB....There goes your being waited on hand and foot. But it sure can't beat being home for you. So how's about some details on what got you in the hospital, and what they did to get you out so quickly, this time.

I plead guilty to not knowing the names of very many Canadian singers, Lee. Of the 5 you listed, I recognized only 2 as being Canadian. Anne Murray and Gordon Lightfoot. Back when I was on the air, I just LOVED playing this song.

K2; For once, our weather isn't matching yours. The cold front seems to be going west to east right across Lake Erie. No snow here. Heck it's going to be in the mid to upper 60's today.

I don't want to be within 100 yards of an alligator, Bill. Those suckers can run FAST.

Good morning gang. Not much new since last night!
We got so sick of Snowbird when it was popular Dave. Communication regulations in Canada call for a percentage of “Canadian content” throughout the day. So, songs get played to the point you you get tired of hearing them. No matter how good they are.
Lots of ice at home Kathie. I hope it’s all good where you are.
How you feeling Pat?
We’re off to pick up our race credentials. By this time tomorrow we should be across the finish line and maybe on our way back to the house.
You all be well.

29F and cloudy here right now. Trees have ice on them, but not bad like some years. Our power lines are underground around here, but some areas lost power from the wind and ice freezing.

Art always like Ann Murray. Must be the little bit of Canadian influence from his parents being born in Canada.

Dave: Good to hear that your temps are going up to 60's today. I think we're suppose to only get into the 40's. All in all it's still has been a FANTASTIC JANUARY & FEBRUARY so far!
My snow-removal "payment in full" must have helped Mother Nature to ease up on SNOW so far! Ha Ha.

Time to get out the balls of dough and start ROLLING it out and making NUT ROLLS. It's been over 2 years since I made these, so I hope it goes smoothly. The tricky part will be the new oven. I should just take them downstairs and bake them in my old trusty GAS OVEN!

BB: Hope your first night home in the HUTCH was a good one. Tell us what they did for you. Breathing treatments??? Don't forget to drink lots of WATER. It's really good for you in so many ways. And walk around as much as you can. (this advice is on the house) Ha Ha :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

KC: How's it going over your way? Any projects in the works? From checking your temps it looks like you'll be in the 85's today. Warm enough to sit outside and soak in some RAYS!
Lucky you.

Out of here for now. I have nothing more for you good folks.

LEE: Can't wait to see pictures of you and Lu-Ann in your outfits. :emoticon 0140 rofl: :clap002:

Hope this Kermit cartoon doesn’t offend anyone! I’m still laughing.

Also posted Bird House with icicles and awning frame! Trees look like a frozen village. AD962884-B8B6-41A0-9630-C213D63E35A9.jpeg6FE4B97C-3CE9-4F63-BD5D-C1ED0B197D85.jpegDAD6881E-3BC3-41AC-9D37-4B1D4D4EFB3A.jpeg

Good morning. It is going to be another hot day here, it is already 83. Watered Bruce's tomato and pepper plants and should be out repotting succulents but my hands hurt too much.

Last night i fixed the Spinach salad and tonight dinner will be the Mushroom soup we had on Carnival.

All have a great day.

We have our bibs and shirts for tomorrow. After getting our bibs and before picking up the shirts a very nice young lady asked if we’d like a picture in front of Moana. Now, the only thing between us and our medal is 5K (3.2 miles). Well, that and being at Epcot at 4:00 am. Group A starts at 5:00. Our group, C, likely won’t get to the start until close to 6:00 so we may cheat and arrive at 4:30.
Let me think here. Kathie is dealing with cold and a layer of ice. Nancy is dealing with a warm day and should be repotting succulents. Kermit is drawing a map. Anybody else see the connection?
I do hope you are all doing well.

Tell me that there really is a 4:30 am, Lee. Only way that I am ever up that early is when nature calls and I am then quickly back to bed for at least another three or four hours (at least). Well, there was the time that we had an early AM flight and we were probably up by then in order to get to the airport an hour or two before the flight.
Corrected our e-payment info with what I hope is the last of the vendors (utility company) to need the new account number. I must say that all of the customer service representatives that I have had to deal with have been very good to work with and made the process as painless as possible.
Walgreens came through and actually processed my most recent prescription refill quickly.
Warm weather is due to hang around well into next week, and the TV forecasters are indicating that temperatures are averaging 10 degrees higher than what is usual for this time of year. Doubt that they will be getting any complaints from us snowbirds. High temperature back home today is 39 degrees which, were we home, would likely be considered almost balmy for February.

Hope that Pat is resting and enjoying being back home. I am sure that Bert and her kids are providing a degree of attention to her wants and needs that exceeds the service she was receiving at the hospital.

Kathie, either I'm physic or you are repeating yourself cause I know I read this same post earlier this morning, like around 9:16 am when it first posted...

Busy week with not a lot to show for it, sometimes it just works out that way I guess. Got a call from the roofers a little while ago & they have an earlier opening so will be starting my roof on Tues. That sure doesn't happen often in Florida! I had a feeling it might though because they had already applied for & received the permit this week. Now I just hope my checks for the new account get here before final payment is due!

Lee, good luck with the race tomorrow & how nice of the lady to ofer to take the pic, it's a good one!

Dave, any opinion on the Peepsi yet?

Kathie, I did see the story about the semi hitting the overpass here in Ocala. It took Barb over 30 mins to get from my house to hers which is normally a 10-15 min. trip at most. All the traffic from I-75 was re-routed thru Belleview. Sure wouldn't want to be the driver of that truck!

Bill, good to hear Walgreens finally got a prescription right, hopefully they will continue to improve during the rest of your stay here.

Pat, hope you are doing well today & check in soon to give us an update!

Good afternoon, cyber family! Sitting here in our nice air conditioned house sure beats being in the hospital any day. I read over all the posts I missed and proceeded to firget everything I read (extended senior moment?), so I'' try to pick up from today's posts.

Dave - You asked how I ended up in the hospital on Sunday. I knew by Friday that my breathing was not going well. Saturday evening we went to that wine tasting. I couldn't eat anything and was not having a good time breathing, but I didn't want to go to the hospital after drinking about 9 ounces of wine. Woke up Sunday morning and everything was a chore and was causing my oxygen to drop too low. I didn't even make it out of the bedroom when I told Bert we need to head for the hospital NOW.
They did a chest x-ray, listened to my chest and recognized that I had fluid in my lung once again. Took until 9 PM to finally get into a room. By that time I was starving, so they gave me one of those crustless PB&J sandwiches. Yuck, but better than nothing, right?
Bright and early the next morning my cardiologist came to see me. He ordered an ECHO cardiogram done. Around this time I realized that this was all my own fault. I had consumed too much salt while watching the Super Bowl. Scoops are a weakness of mine and I paid for it.
By Tuesday afternoon I was cleared by my cardiologist and pulmonologist to go home, but the resident doctor wouldn't discharge me until I got by O2 down to 3 liters. By yesterday morning I was there and was finally allowed to go home. So here I am now!!

Lee - Good luck to you and Lu-Ann tomorrow morning. I have to leave here by 6:30 to get to Orlando for my vascular surgery at 8:00, so we'll be running at the same time. Great picture of you and Lu-Ann taken this morning.

Kathie - I hope that ice goes away soon. Make sure you aren't driving or going out in it. Too easy to slip and fall.

Karen - I too saw that picture of the truck caught under the overpass on I-75. Knew right away which one it was. Have they been able to open it up again now?

Dave - So how did the Pepsi/Peeps test turn out? I prefer Pepsi, but used to like Coke in the glass bottles. It just tastes better. You can buy Coke in the glass bottle, made in Mexico, at Sam's/ It tastes so much better because they used sugar cane as a sweetener.

I see by the clock on the wall that it's almost happy hour. Time to head for the lanai. Not sure if I can make dinner tonight, as no one else has offered to make anything. Bummer!!

Have a great evening, gang!
