BB: Those cupcakes looks so yummy. What a special gift.

I decided to keep going with the cookies. Now doing NON/Ethnic cookies! They are so much more time consuming to make.
Never did get to do the kitchen floor. I’ll just wait until I put away the big mixer.

Lee: Nice that you got the test results. Hope all will be okay when the other doctor reads them

I got my results posted on my Portal by my internist. The Nuero doctor hasn’t posted anything. Figures. From what I can read of all the big medical terms the radiologist is suggesting another scan. Well, we’ll see what the Nuero doc has to say in January. I’m in no hurry to have anymore tests if I feel absolutely fine.

Here’s a few pics of my current Mini Cut Out Cookies.7648D5DD-F0E0-4814-9B2F-8224021EC896.jpegD2E702BA-4C07-4711-99A0-27D9536EF52D.jpeg7648D5DD-F0E0-4814-9B2F-8224021EC896.jpeg

I sure hope Bill and Rita are safe and sound. The storm in their area was of “Jim Cantore” proportions!
Beautiful cookies Kathie.

TGIF Bunnies. Plus, one week from today and it will be Christmas. Yes Lee, NOW is the time to start your Christmas shopping.

I love mini cupcakes, BB. And smaller one-bite cookies. I'll often pass on full sized ones, but jump at just a bite of sweetness.

You're quit the pro at decorating cookies, K2. I can only imagine the time you spend on each cut-out to make them so pretty. Plus having a steady hand.

I loved the picture of the can choir.

Lee; Happy to hear that you got the shingles and pneumonia shots. The shingles vaccination left my arm more sore than any other shot I've ever had.

Since our county has gone purple with Covid infections, and every day sets new records for infections and deaths across the country, I've quit going inside stores. So our short excursion today to get some Claritin D will be done at their bank like drive-thru. Normally I order my prescriptions on the computer and have Walley World mail them to us. But you have to show your driver's license to buy Claritin D.

I'm definitely not letting down my guard now that a couple of vaccines are available. If I did, I'd probably get infected and die before my turn came around to get the shot.

A quick good morning Bunnies! Not much new since last evening.
As long as the gas station convenience store is open Christmas Eve or Day I have lots of time to do my shopping Dave. Yes, the spot I got that shingles shot hurts like heck! Makes it tough to sit down.
Did Gary get the wrapping done Pat?
That is a very poignant drawing Kathie. Sadly there seems to be more folks like that since COVID and their benefits and pay checks have all but dried up.
Didn’t sleep well last night. I need coffee. Maybe a trip to Starbucks later for ginger bread loaf.
You all stay super safe and take care!

Good Mid-Morning Wrabbits.
Our Detroit community lost a true leader yesterday evening to the Covid virus. Sad that a man 65 yrs old that did so much good for Detroit had to die from this horrible virus. He was just n TV over a week ago telling people to wear their masks and stay home. He was in the hospital and wanted to make sure people knew how the virus can land you in the hospital. He went on a vent to give his body time to rest and heal and his condition just needed more than that. He dies in his sleep last night.

Today Art gets tons of measurements for his cataract surgery that will happen in 2021. I get to drive him there since he will have lots of drops to dilate his eyes and won’t be able to see clearly for awhile. So much for our afternoon! I think I will drop him off and go back home and wait to pick him up. They only let the patient into the office.

Dave: Thanks for the compliments on my cookies. I did these to add to the Serbian “GOOD” cookies that I will make a few trays up to give to family and friends since we are NOT doing the big Christmas Day Dinner and Open House this year.
Good that you are doing the DRIVE THRU and pick up these days. I really am going to try the Kroger grocery pick-up after the holiday rush is over. Right now when I drive by the pick-up area each parking slot is filled will a car. Busy, busy all the time.

Lee: I didn’t sleep well last night either. Stayed in bed a little longer than usual this morning.
Hope you got your Starbuck’s treat this morning. I really like the “Cranberry Bliss Bar! Yum.

You all have a good day. I think I’ll go and scrub that kitchen floor before we have to go to Art’s eye appt.

Later gang.

Our choir is having a ZOOM Christmas Party tonight. Need to find something Christmasy to wear! Ha ha.

Good morning, everyone! Chilly morning in this neighborhood. Feels like 46! Sun is shining though which makes it look warmer than it is.

Lee - No, Gary isn't finished wrapping packages yet. There's a big pile of them done, but still at least half as much still waiting to be done, including assembling a bike and a desk. Good luck to him, is all I can say.

K2 - Those cookies you made look really great. Are you running an unlicensed bakery out of your kitchen? Sure seems like it with all the baking you are doing this year!
Too sad about that deputy passing away from the virus.

Dave - We also love bite sized cupcakes and cookies. I have one recipe for a tiny lemon cupcake that Laurie's husband can eat a dozen of them without coming up for air! He's a real fussy eater, so to like these cupcakes is almost a miracle!!

I really need to get away from this computer and get to work. I have a number of things I need to get done today before we go to the Grille tonight for dinner. So until later, have a great day, everyone. Stay safe, stay warm, and be good. Santa's watching!!! :)

Good afternoon all.

So, today I learned something interesting from Benjamin. He told me that owls don’t poop out everything, what they do is let what they eat stay in a stomach for 6 to 7 hours Whatever they cannot digest, like bones and fur, they cough it up and out through their mouth. The rest gets eliminated the traditional way.

His teacher got enough of these contents to allow each student to do an experiment on what the contents were. Benjamin found tiny bones and jaw of a shrew, the remnants of some kind of beetle and many tiny bones.

Just in case you were wondering if Owls Poop. You’re welcome.

Well now that we know all about how owls poop, I definitely will be able to sleep well tonight!! Now I know what was keeping me awake at night. ;)

Had a fun dinner with our friends tonight at the Grille. Now I really have to get to work. They exchanged plates or bags of Christmas goodies and I am still making things. Guess aside from bringing the fixings for Christmas dinner up to Laurie over the weekend, we need to get busy making stuff to be delivered to friends in the next few days.

Now it's time to make some hot chocolate to warm up the inner me. It's about 50 here right now and heading lower. Think it might be time to break out an extra blanket for the bed tonight. Bert already had his extra crochet blanket in place on this side of the bed.

Have a great evening everyone, and I'll see you in the morning. :)

Choir Zoom was fantastic. They put a lot of effort into making it special for us. Such talented people. We had a good amount of members show up. Most all of us got dressed up in Christmas sweaters or nice tops. It was fun. Had to be there to really understand.

SAN: Sounds like a interesting class Benjamin is in. We see OWLS at the Big Park in the woods. There are a few places where Art can takes us to see them. Beautiful bird for sure. Thanks for the extra education about them. Nice to know that BB will be able to SLEEP BETTER tonight after learning all about the owls!

Need to get up way too early on Sat morning to be at Jill’s house for Ashley’s VIRTUAL graduation at 9:30 a.m. Still feel so bad for her. She seems to be taking it quite well. You think they could have had it at 1:00 pm!
Good for her graduating in 3.5 yrs from the Supply Chain Management School at MSU. Rated best in the US! Wow! I know you’re all impressed....Ha ha.

We just heard late tonight that the WONDERFUL BAKERY up 24 Mile Rd where we get our excellent Birthday cakes and donuts, etc that the OWNER PASSED AWAY. This is just unbelievable. I need to find out if he had Covid or died of a Heart Attack or something else. I just saw him a few weeks ago. Just the kindest person you could know.
We lost the Wayne County’s Sheriff yesterday and now the news of Jasper. Sad.

Be real careful folks.

It's possible that at this time next week many of us will be thinking, "I'm so glad that holiday is over with."

And after 11 months of somewhat staying at home, our waistline didn't do so well either.

I so hope you wore one of those Ugly-Christmas-Sweaters to your ZOOM Christmas party last night, K2. If not, now is better than not at all to wear them around the house.

Only the Buffoon and his administration could screw up getting the Covid vaccine delivered around the country to where it's needed. States are now getting 30% less than what they were told they'd get. No trouble in production at Pfizer, they've got freezers with lots of it. Turns out the administration isn't telling them where to ship all of it.

I did get my Claritin D yesterday.......at the SECOND pharmacy we went to that had a drive-up window. The first place we turned down. I'd mentioned that you need to show your drivers license to get it and sign for it. But they said I'd have to go inside the store so I could sign their screen. I guess they never heard of paper and pen. But the second place had, and sent a paper form out through their drawer.

Today is more present wrapping time for kids and grandkids that live around here. Yesterday, after picking up 2 granddaughters from school Kathi dropped off a large, wrapped box that contained everyone's presents in that family, with a "Don't open until Christmas". Staring at that large box until next Friday will probably drive the girls nuts.

Quick good morning from chilly Belleview.... it's been quite nippy this month for sure....I've actually gotten to wear my Christmas sweatshirts quite a bit this year!

Tony, I can honestly say I now know more about Owl poop than I ever dreamed I would...I bet Benjamin had a blast sorting thru the owl puke....he will probably go in search of more the next trip to McCloud...

Kathy, so sorry to hear about your sheriff & the baker who passed.....sadly it seems t happen more & more at our age...your cookies look amazing too...

Dave, kind of defeats the whole purpose of a drive thru pharmacy if you have to go inside to sign the form....not to bright on someone's part....

Pat, hope you added a lil something extra to that hot choc. to keep you warm last night....I know you all don't get as cold as we do...but I bet sometimes the wind off the lake can make it feel colder....how is Cappi behaving lately, better?

Lee, hoping the doctors agree you are fit as a fiddle!! Your cannon picture was beautiful...I can see that hanging on someone's wall!

Not a heck of a lot going on around here....still battling with the post office on 2 packages that have fallen into a black hole...I filed a lost mail report, but don't have a lot of hope anything will come of it....the paperwork to the Ohio lawyer never made it to him either...so today I am going to UPS and send off a 2nd round of forms....should have done that to begin with, but the lawyer said regular mail...so that's what I did...
Hope you all have a good day....stay out of crowds...and wash your hands!

Good EARLY Sunday Morning Wrabbits.

Well where has the month gone? Soon all this hustle, etc, etc will be over for another year. THANK GOODNESS. And we’ll be into a New Year and new Month and the Anderson’s will be wondering just how many Puzzles can we put together to keep from going nuts? :D

SAN: Not sure when or if you and your family are traveling to McCloud? Is it this week or after Christmas or not even going? Refresh memory!

Dave: So how is the new mattress working out? Sleeping okay? Any different feeling than the old one?

BB: Has Gary gotten all his gifts out of your house yet? Sounds like that family is going to,have one bang up Christmas.

KC: I sent you a video to your messenger area of a Cat Climbing a Christmas tree. Look for it. It’s funny.

Rita: How’s Bill doing? Got your plans in order for getting out of town?

Lee: How are you and Lu-Ann doing. Are your arms hurting from those shots you got? Did you two experience any after “shocks” from the Shingle shot?
Art and I really need to get that one soon.

PQ: Saw a lot of neat pictures on Fbook of you and Gary and your Mom at one of the Disney venues. Looked like fun. Are the kids coming home for Christmas? Has Tracey been sending pkgs to your house like she usually does? Take care and Merry Christmas in case I don’t get your attention again.

I’m NOT sending out Christmas cards this year, so MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of you fantastic extended family members and a much better New Year!

Time to make some coffee over here. I’ll put in a good word for ALL OF US in Virtual church this morning.

Almost forgetting that today is SUNDAY. One day goes into the other lately.

Good Sunday morning Bunnies!

For quite a while it sure looked like it was just you and me on here yesterday, KC.

I absolutely loved your video of the pooch. Even wearing a Christmas sweater.

Hi there K2. You're up bright and early. We too haven't sent out any Christmas cards this year. Mattress is fine, but still getting used to the higher profile. Tonight we drag the old one out of the garage to the street for pick-up in the morning. Don't understand it, but they said to have it out by 4 AM.

It'll be a grab-bag of weather conditions in Ohio today. Cold with rain shifting over to snow, and by late afternoon nothing at all.

Kathi delivered the presents, inside a box, to the family of 6 kids yesterday. One item she kept out of the box and unwrapped was the book of "The Night Before Christmas", that she recorded for all of them. They were almost fighting over who got to hold the book and turn the pages. None of them could understand how Granny's voice came out from the book.

Today, nothing much planned for either of us. This Elf has a couple more presents to wrap, but that's about it.

Good morning...nice to see a couple more bunnies here this morning...it get's lonely rattling around talking to myself....heading off to church in a little bit & then this afternoon Wendy is coming over so I can hopefully print off her boarding pass for tomorrow....she showed me her "confimation" paper when she was here last week....but there was no confirmaton number on it...her daughter made the reservation thru a 3rd party site and they "masked" the number on her reservation...she was going to Madelines on wed. so I told her to be sure & get the # without it she won't even be able to check in at the airport....I'll be back to check in later gang...
