Return of the Cruising Bunny's....

A quick good later morning to all of you!
Poor Eddie. Wishing him a speedy recovery. I sure hope that, at the end of the day, he's A-OK!

We had about 45 kids here lat night. The first little one was about 5:30!!! It started to rain about 7:00 so, with three bags of chips left, I shut off the lights. I have to say that all of the kids were polite and their costumes weren't gory and covered in blood! Lots of little Super Hero's, first responders and comic characters.
After zapping I got home, had breakfast, walked the dogs (now there's a surprise!) got Lu-Ann off to the dentist, brought in the outdoor Hallowe'en stuff, changed my dermatologist appointment, did my stint on the bike and vacuumed. This afternoon is games day so after lunch we'll head off for that. I will be wearing my mask!
So Kathie, did The Lions ever show up for that game yesterday? Which team is more important? The Spartans or the Lions. I bet your college team could beat those other guys! I hope that Art makes out OK at the dentist!
Karen, those presents are genius! Fairly inexpensive to make but look so neat. Well done. You need to become one of those internet influencers with your own blog.
I had white mice when I was a kid Dave. But they're a far cry from rats! I have heard that rats are very intelligent and make great pat though. Gas is up again this morning to about $5.96 CDN for a US gallon.
When you said Jimmy was smoking his butt on the lanai a couple of mental pictures came to mind Pat. One was to tell him not to sit on the grille! How many kids do you reckon Bert took care of last night?
Lu-Ann's just pulling in so I'll be on my way here.
Yep, it's getting old (so am I!) but everyone please be careful out there!

I'm BACK........Ha ha!

Dave posted: Sorry that Art needed that tooth pulled. A bridge now, or an implant? NO IMPLANT or Bridge. It was a useless last in the back molar and it didn't have a MATE above it, so it got pulled with NO ISSUE at all. Didn't need stiches to close the whole or anything. Art said it was a piece of cake getting it pulled. PAINLESS. (well they numbed it)

All you folks sound like you had some interesting kids show up.

DAVE: Do you think you'll miss seeing the top of that POOL DECK when you look out the window, or are you use to it already?

PAT: We have the same issues with houses selling like HOT Cakes HERE. The sign barely is up for a day and the "OFFER PENDING" sign gets slapped on. Your right about having to have a place ready or a huge storage unit or two or three. If something ever happens to you and Bert your kids are going to HATE you because of all the stuff in the garage. Darn good thing you don't have a BASEMENT! Ha Ha.

My friend from choir who is baking 50 nut rolls for our choir nut roll sale sent her hubby over for me to grind more pounds of walnuts for her. It's a 15 min job with my Cuisinart food processor. He sat and waiting and chatted with Art while I ground the nuts. I did 15 pounds last week for her. I use to help her make these (you may remember), but I wised up and said NO WAY could I stand for hours in one spot and roll that dough. I didn't mind when my knee was feeling better, but now I don't want to push things. And when I did about 50 rolls the choir needed the extra money for the treasury. Now they have $15,800 bucks and I figure WHY IS SHE TAKING THIS ON. They don't need the money. Talk about our group hoarding money. Ha Ha.

Okay, I need to go back outside and finish pulling a few more plants and trimming the Hydrangea plant back for the Winter. I'll be glad when that job is over.

Lee: You sure do put in a LOT OF WORK in one day. You need to take a 1/2 hour for yourself and just sit down and chill man.

Karen: How's that head cold doing today? Let's hope much better.

Lee: Our gas prices went up over night too. $3.25 a gallon at Meijer. Our Kroger is still holding at $3.17 a gallon. They just don't have enough drivers. Where the heck did all the drivers go that were here at the beginning of the year? They ALL can't just be collecting those checks from Washington and living as well as they use to on them?? Crazy times.

Tomorrow I'm going to take dinner over to the gal in our choir (83 yrs old, but looks 20 years younger than me) that just had her knee replacement done. I'm wising up on bringing her and another gal from choir who is staying with her for 3 days something to eat. I'm buying a Chicken Pot Pie from our famous pie maker shoppe. Everything is made on site. I bought one on the way home from the dentist and ART and I will be trying it to see if it's good enough to bring to them. It's frozen raw and the lady said keep it frozen until you slide it in the oven for it to turn out right. Works for me. They're not cheap, but it will be a easy thing to deliver with some rolls and a salad! I'll look like a hero and won't have to do much. See I am getting smarter in my old age. Why kill myself making something from scratch when I don't have to.

Later gang. If I get a hold of Marge I'll be sure to pass on every ones best wishes. And thanks for sending out the cards. They'll both appreciate it.

The COUNTDOWN begins to look forward to April! That's when it will be warmer in PURE MICHIGAN again! :emoticon 0111 blush:

Our first Halloween in our new home and, sad to say, not a single trick or treater showed up in the whole neighborhood. Now this is an over 55 community but I had thought that some grandkids, nieces or nephews of the residents or young kids from neighboring locations might show up. Oh well, we have more than enough Reese's peanut buttercups to last us a while (if I can exercise enough restraint to keep from eating all of them at a single seating.
I thought that I had Eddie's address on a Christmas mailing list on my computer but can't locate it, so if someone could email me his address I would be most appreciative. Although Rita and I escaped from our collision relatively unscathed I know what a traumatic effect it has on anyone who experiences one. Here's hoping that his time in a rehab facility helps restore his to his former self.
Big win for the Pats yesterday and they showed some signs that the rest of the season's contests might have even more favorable results.
Red Sox fans and sports fans, in general, lost a favorite former Red Sox second baseman, and sportscaster extraordinaire in Jerry Remy. He will be sorely missed.

Yup, fall is definitely here. In the 30's this morning with a high today only in the mid 40's. Many places will get their first frost. Some will even get their first light snow. But with the ground still warm, none of it should stick.

Local dentists are so happy Bert passed out so much candy on Sunday, BB.

Hope that you still aren't getting bad side effects from your "zapping", Lee.

K2, how lucky Art is that his tooth that got pulled isn't really needed. I don't miss seeing the neighbors pool deck. But if they'd kept the pool and deck, that wouldn't have bothered me either.

Bummer that you didn't have any trick-or-treaters, Bill. Sure hope you like Reese's peanut butter cups.

Cold getting better KC? Or just hanging on.

We gotta leave here at 8 for a trip to my urologist to recheck my prostate. 5 years ago he found it to be enlarged, but not cancerous. Just the curse of a male getting older.

Oh here's a hoot; I now have three 16.9 ounce bottles of skin moisturizer. But we checked our order and we only ordered one. And that's all we got charged for.

When I recently visited my skin doctor she gave me a bunch of sample bottles, and I really like the stuff. This lotion isn't like smearing grease on your skin, which is highly perfumed.

Good MID-MORNING Wrabbits!
It's mornings like today that I'm glad the SUNSHINE comes out even though it's 40F! Brrr.

NEGC:
I sent you Eddie's address to your e-mail address (Bill35) Let me know if you get it!
Sorry about the Red Sox loss of Jerry Remy.
I bet you and Rita can't wait to get to Florida now that we're starting to have these COLD mornings and temps barely reach 50F through the day. Start packing your bags! Ha Ha.
Will you be able to load the car with luggage and "STUFF" or is that not allowed? It could save you dragging big luggage and paying for it through the airport.

DAVE: Good for you getting a tad extra Moisturizing Lotion! That should keep you through the dry Winter season. What's the name of the stuff? Good luck with that prostate check-up.

Lee: Hard to believe how much you folks have to pay for GAS over your way. Perhaps as soon as all this COVID restriction testing ceases you'll be able to cross over into the STATES and save a few bucks buying our expensive gas while you shop at some the stores you use to back in the "GOOD Ole DAYS"! You do know that like everything else here in the STATES that goes on "Good or Bad" Pres Biden is the BLAME for it. Some are never happy.

Karen/ Pat: Hope you Southern Belle's are staying warm down your way. I know it's colder for you, but I'd take your COLD compared to OUR COLD any day right now! Ha Ha

I don't have to make the FOOD delivery to the choir gal (82 or 83 yrs old) that got her knee replacement until
tomorrow.... WEDNESDAY! Somebody else is doing a delivery today. And it won't be the Chicken Pot Pie. I don't want her to have to worry about putting it in the oven to cook for 1 hour. I'll be BUYING something else at our one grocery store that has packaged homemade meals to go. Their food is a tad pricey, but it's so GOOD. Worth me not having to stand on my feet and cook all morning! YUP, I'm getting wiser as I get older! Better to dish out some money than to wear myself out. Ha Ha.

LATER GANG. You all know the drill........now just do it.

I Love You Dogs GIF by Chippy the Dog

Good morning, everyone! 71 here right now heading up to the low 80s. Sorry for saying that, Dave, after hearing your temps right now.

Kathie - Glad Art made out well with the tooth pulling. I don't blame you for passing on making the nut rolls. Nice though that you could grind up the nuts so easily. I love my food processor, but it's a pain to get it out of the closet each time I want to use it. That thing is heavy! Not having a place to store it is one reason why I don't have an air fryer. The closet I keep that kind of stuff in is totally full or stuff that there's no room for in the cabinets or pantry. Bert's stuff in the garage runs pretty much along the same lines as my kitchen stuff. Way too much of it, but used once in a while, so I keep it. Heck, I still have the grinder that you attached to the side of the kitchen table to hand grind veggies or meats. My mother gave me that for Christmas over 55 years ago! I have no place to use it here, but I just can't part with it yet.
Good question you had for Bill. I never thought about how they'd get all their stuff to Florida. Smart thinking, lady!! Our gas here right now is $3.39/gal last time I looked.

Dave - From checking out the Halloween candy our little ones got, there's a whole lot of other people in this community bringing business to dentists. It definitely was less than other years though. Boy, your weather really is dropping! That's even worse than winter here most years. Keep warm! Good luck with your prostrate recheck today. What's the name of that moisturizer. All of us suffer with dry skin during the winter due to the dry air being inside most of the time.

Karen - I hope that cold of yours is getting better. Try to get outside in the sun and soak up some vitamin D. It may help you feel better.

Lee - I hope your treatments are going well. Any idea when you are getting your booster shot yet? Do you have to make an appointment to get it and where would you have to go?

Bill - Too bad you didn't have any trick or treaters. You could always have gone adult trick or treating. That's usually good for a drink or a snack. A girl friend and I once went trick or treating to our friends' houses. At one they gave us cans of vegetables!! LOL They never knew it was us either!!

We did a lot of running around yesterday - 2 trips to Restaurant Depot, Sam's Walmart, and Publix! My butt was hurting from sitting in the car. We are all set for the holidays - We now have 2 Jenno turkeys in the freezer. I'll just have to worry about sides when the time comes to make one.

Missy is busy making small meatballs for our meatball stroganoff tonight. For dessert I had Bert pick up a pumpkin praline cheesecake. Doesn't that sound delicious? I can't wait to try it and if it's good, I'll have Bert pick up another one before they're all gone. Best part the are frozen and precut with 14 pieces.

This is really a beautiful day. Now the temp is already up to 76!!! I think it's time for me to grab a cup of coffee and go sit outside. Have a wonderful day, everyone! :)

Good afternoon. OK, I'm lying like a cheap rug. Right now it's overcast. windy and feels like 40F.
A great night to have a banding and owl walk event in town. But hey, its all about learning a little more about our town and the wildlife.

71 here right now
Now the temp is already up to 76
On both accounts Pat, BITE ME!
Agreed about the food processor and stand mixer. They are really heavy and live on the bottom shelf of out pantry cupboard. Easy to get to if needed but no matter how often you use them they don't get any lighter!
There's a lot of factions calling on the Canadian government to stop requiring a negative test to cross Kathie. As long as you are double vaccinated and have the certificate to prove it. Right now that rule is hurting the casual cross border shopping and visiting that used to go on between Windsor and Detroit, Niagara Falls, ON and Niagara Fall, NY and so on. So whatcha takin' that dear lady for dinner tomorrow?
Good luck on the checkup Dave! Just reading your post sent chills down my spine as I thought I heard the sound of snapping latex gloves!
Working Are You Ready GIF by La Guarimba Film Festival

(if I can exercise enough restraint to keep from eating all of them at a single seating.
Bill, those darned things are like potato chips. Especially now that they are a fraction the size that they used to be.
How's tricks in in your neck of FL Karen? Hope you're feeling a little better each day!
I love the term "shrinkflation". Packaging is the same, the price is the same but the stuff in the package or box is less than it used to be. Reeses Peanut Butter Cups made me think of that!
We want to wait a couple of weeks after our flu shots before we add the booster cocktail to the mix. Especially with my zaparation (zapping and radiation) for the next 2 1/2 weeks. Yep, 7 down and 13 to go! We still have one mass vaccination site open and it's only about 20 minutes from here. Unless our local health unit sends us elsewhere.
I should get a move on. Although I don't know why because it's too cold (and now damp!) to do anything out side. Temps are looking better for next week so I can get our outdoor furniture stowed and covered then.
You all have a good rest of the day.

And, what Kathie said.

Not sure what or how much stuff we can put in the car for transport to FL, K2, but we can probably take enough clothes and other essentials in our suitcases to handle things while we are there (or we can pick up stuff once we are there). We shouldn't be needing heavy or bulky clothing in the southern climes.
Thanks for Eddie's address, K2. A card or note will be on its way to him shortly.
This was the first really chilly day so far and the temps will only be approaching 50 most days this week. Brisk is how I would have characterized it this morning.Gas prices jumped considerably over the past week to ten days and I paid $3.25 a gallon (without a discount) when I filled up over the weekend. Still getting 50+mpg in the Prius which helps reduce the sticker shock when I am at the pump.
I know that, for various reasons, there has been a reduction in the number of episodes for the various TV shows but last week both NCIS and Blue Bloods were already showing repeats from the previous season. Couldn't they, at least, get to December before showing repeats?
Lisa taped last week's Blacklist and I watched it the next day when we stopped by. So far I believe that they may be back on track after last season's disasters.
One can hope, at least.

The weather and gloominess this afternoon has made me CRUMPY! Yup, it happens!

Lee: I've got homemade Stuffed Cabbage Rolls in he oven right now. I'll make a tomato sauce and pour it over them after they are cooked through. If they taste good that's what the nice gal will be getting w/mashed potatoes and a bought mixed salad! Our veggie market has tons to choose from all made up fresh.
And if the cabbage rolls don't meet my high standards then I'll be buying a ready made meal like was going to do at the market that makes up all kinds of take out dishes. I just thought she might like something most all Serbs like and usually don't make for themselves. We'll see how things work out. I'll be taking a loaf of fresh made bread from the veggie store that they make everyday. And dessert will most likely be a bought Apple Pie since it's the season for that here in Michigan!

1635881574637.png OUCH on those SNAPPING GLOVES! Hopefully the doctor slips them on quietly!
How fun that you and Lu-Ann will be able to bundle up and go learn about the OWLS. I wonder if they will have one there to see?

Negc: Glad you got the address I sent you. I would think that the shipping company would let you put 2 suitcases of STUFF in the trunk. Better call and ask! Just be sure to take a 2 Umbrellas or a hooded rain jacket. And a sweatshirt. It gets cold on and off in Jan, Feb, heck even March. But you know that already.

Later, need to go check those Cabbage Rolls. They have at least 1 or more hours to bake.

PAT: Dinner sounds good over by your house. YUM

Bill - I definitely agree that Blacklist is looking a lot better this year. I think the reason the shows were repeats this past week was because of people having Halloween parties or going out to a party. Just my thoughts. They certainly don't do the number of episodes that they did in the past for sure.

Kathie - When I learned to make cabbage rolls, you put the tomato sauce on them right away and they cooked in the sauce. That was the Polish way of doing it. It's called golumkies in Polish. My former sister-in-law, Mary used to make they for special days especially for Bert who loves them. Gary's ex used to make them and they were awful!!! I hope yours come out delicious.

Time to start prepping dinner. I need to peal and slice carrots before I start building the strognaoff sauce. Probably won't make it back here tonight, so I will just say have a great evening now and I'll see you in the morning. :chef::sign bye:

Pat, Lu-Ann makes GREAT cabbage rolls! Always a challenge to find cabbage with good, large leaves! As soon as they are rolled she puts them in a tomato sauce until the pan is full, covers them with more tomato sauce and then they’re ready to go into the oven.
We are meeting at the book shop Kathie. Phil is supposed to be bringing an owl. First the group will band it and then head to The Navy Yard to set it free. We’ll also be looking for other owls we have heard.
Bill, I suggest taking the minimum of what you think you need and if the need arises, buy stuff.
I’ll be glad of wearing a mask tonight if for no other reason than to keep my nose warm. ;)

Ha Ha..... Lee you made me laugh that you want to keep your NOSE WARM tonight. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

These are sour SARMA's as we call them. I put down a layer of Sour Kraut and then layer the Cabbage Rolls. Add more of the Sour Kraut and some water and cover and cook. After they are pretty much cooked I make a sauce. Oil & Flour browned as if for a white sauce, but I add the juice from the bottom of the pan and a big can of Tomato Sauce and if it's too thick I add some Tomato Juice. Then it gets poured over the Cabbage and cooked for another 15-20 mins. We SERBS also make sour heads of cabbage in a brine, but that takes months and using Sour Kraut is a quick way to get a little sour taste. We never add the tomato sauce right away, because Tomato sauce tends to make the meat in the rolls tough. When I make Beef Stew I cook the meat for awhile before adding the Tomato sauce to avoid tough meat. Just the way I was taught decades ago.
Anyways, now my house STINKS AGAIN....like a Polish Restaurant we use to go to! Ha ha. But it's a much nicer STINK than that fish I had a few weeks ago.

These Cabbage Rolls will taste even better after they sit overnight (in the Refrig of course) and get reheated tomorrow for the nice lady! She's very European and will like them for sure.

I too noticed that a LOT of the FALL shows have been REPEATS. Way to early for that to happen. I bet it's due to Covid-19 and when they weren't filming.

LEE: I hope you can post a few pictures or Lu-Ann can of the OWLS. Sounds like a fun night.

Here’s the Cabbage Rolls w/sauce going back in the oven for about 20 mins! Tomorrow I’ll make some mashed potatoes to go with it! Fresh bread & a salad and I’m done! Whew.

Good evening! I'm not quite sure how the last 2 days managed to get away from me, but they did!

Kathie, your cabbage rolls look yummy...never heard of putting them in between sauerkraut, but like you mentioned...it's a Serb thing.
Glad Art's dentist visit went well...did he go biking as usual today?

Lee, sounds like another fun evening out for you & LuAnn...sorry the weather isn't a little nicer for you...but that just gives you guys another reason to snuggle closer while you are walking...

Pat, your dinner sounds good too...I haven't had stroganoff in ages...where did you guy's pick up the cheesecake? I need another dessert for Thanksgiving & that sounds really good!

Dave, those silly neighbors of yours tearing down a deck...with the price of wood now days they could have listed it for sale & someone would PAY them to haul it away....unless of course it was all rotted & falling apart already...but I doubt that...most pool decks are build pretty solid...

Bill, our gas prices are actually coming down a bit here...I topped up the truck today & paid $3.09....the other day when I looked it was running $3.25-3.29...so every penny down helps....wish my truck got the kind of mileage your Prius does...but that's the trade off I guess...

Cold is slowly getting better...seems to bother me the most in the morning when I first get up..once I get past that I'm fine...
Ended up having lunch with Jane & Barb today at Jane's house...Barb wanted to meet up & give us some of the apples she bought & some chili she made...had a bowl of the chili for dinner tonite & it was pretty good....and I still have a bowl left for another night..win/win....now I think I will go get comfy & ready for tonites TV line up....catch up with you all tomorrow...oh..I got my card sent off to Eddie today too... bet it will be a nice surprise for him getting cards from all of us...

Karen: Good to hear from you. And that chili would be welcomed up here with our cold damp temps.

Our gas is holding at $3.17 a gallon. Next time my gank is close to empty I can use my fuel points and get $.50 cents a gallon. That only means I bought too much food last month!

So the BASEBALL GAME IS BACK IN HOUSTON TONIGHT. STARTS IN ABOUT 5 mins.
I really feel sorry for Lee & Lu-Ann being so close to the DETROIT RIVER tonight and the wind and low temps. Brrr. But it will be worth it to see the OWL get banded and released. Hope they bring some HOT HOT CHOCLATE WITH THEM.

I’m not a fan of Cabbage Rolls (Sarma in Serbian), but I actually surprised myself and liked the ones I made. Wow.

Okay..game time. Night from Macomb!

It’s SNOWING in Boyne City right now. That’s the area where we would go and stay in our friends George & Marie’s condo.
Jill & Ashley sat in those same chairs one Summer!

Hump Day so soon?

In answer to those asking what kind of moisturizer my skin doctor recommended, I like, and now have tons of; The brand is EUCERIN. But some things are never simple. At the store you'll find a half dozen varieties of that brand. The first time we went to the store I didn't bring the sample bottle with me and brought home the wrong one. It was thick as grease. So Kathi just got on Amazon and ordered the right stuff. It's Eucerin for very dry skin, Advanced Repair Lotion, which is midway between Light and Rich in how thick the lotion is.

You guys are right about some kitchen appliances. They sure are heavy.

The doctor was funny when it came time to stick a gloved finger up my butt; He said, "It's time for the urologist's handshake."

How cool it would be to be part of banding an Owl and then setting it free.

Sometime today I will be starting on my last container of Jeni's ice cream. This could be interesting. It's called Middle West Whiskey & Pecans. This is how they describe it on the container, "Middle West Spirits whiskey-fueled ice cream-with notes of butterscotch, honey, and vanilla-laden with crunchy, salty, toasted pecans."

Good morning! Another beautiful day here in the Sunshine State!

Dave, that is one of the flavors I bought my brother...what did you think of it? His order is out for delivery today...only 1 day past his birthday...
Nice to hear your Dr. has a sense of humor....

Kathie, the snow sure was pretty...but I agree it's way to early for that to be falling now...

Lee, so how was the owl walk? Hope they had a nice turn out in spite of the weather...

Pat, so did the gang devour everything in site again or were you blessed with enough left over's for another meal? And most important...How was the cheesecake??

Not a darn thing on tap for today...except maybe taking a nap...Note to self...do NOT take Mucinex on an empty stomach...took one when I got up this morning & it did a number on my tummy & made me woozy...ate some cereal & toast so feeling better now...but lesson learned....

Good very late morning, everyone! As Karen said, it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Which reminds me, did any of you see the beautiful sculpture of Mr. Rogers surrounded by children that was erected at Rollins College, his alma mater? It was just unveiled last few days.

Karen - The pumpkin cheesecake was pretty good, but I don't think I'd get it again. I got it at Restaurant Depot and it cost just under $20. It looked beautiful on the box, but once we opened the box, the pecans were off to one side, so Bert had to spread them around. For that price, I would have expected better. I prefer the sampler type they have at Sam's or BJ's.
There were no leftovers from dinner! Elaine wasn't feeling well, so she stayed home. The limited amount of the stroganoff that was left, we sent home for her and her one son who couldn't come either due to soccer practice. I'd do things a bit differently next time. Instead of mixing it up with the noodles before serving, I'd keep them separate as the noodles sucked up all the juices. Live and learn, right?

Dave - Funny comment from your doctor. That last ice cream sounds good. How was it? Might just have to bite the bullet and try it one of these days, if I hit the lottery!! LOL

Kathie - I have never heard of sauerkraut and cabbage rolls made like that. Definitely is a Serbian thing, for sure. That picture of the snow gave me the chills. Keep that up north, please.

Lee - so how did the banding and owl release go? That must have been so neat to do. We have lots of owls down here too. One day when we lived in Ocala, there were 3 huge ones all sitting on the same branch in front of our house!

Tick tock, it's almost 12 o'clock, so I'm going to get off here for now and find something for lunch. Have a wonderful day, gang, and behave yourselves! :)

Hi GANG! So it's like FREEZING COLD up here in PURE MICHIGAN.
Tonight's low is suppose to be 25F. Come on Mother Nature.....What the heck are you thinking woman!! Way too early for temps that low. Geez!

Pat:
Glad your dinner was a hit. And YUP.... those darn noodles can really soak up the yummy juices. I love Beef Stroganoff w/noodles. Mmmmm good. And lots of mushrooms too! LOL

DAVE:
We don't have that Ice Cream around here, but man that LAST carton you described sounded SO GOOD! I might have to order it one of these days.
I've seen that LOTION you bought. It's a quality brand. I can't stand when you can still feel the lotion all over your hands and face when you're done putting it on. YUK. I like the stuff that just soaks in and disappears, but still does the trick.
It's the time of year that Art starts to get cracks on his hands on the knuckles.

So I got all the food packaged up and picked up a warm loaf of freshly made bread & a small Greek Salad at the Veggie Shoppe and delivered it the gal. She was so grateful. But she said she's had so many deliveries that she's going to have to go on a diet soon. Ha Ha.
She had 2 of her Lady Friends there and her dining room table was set for 6 guests. She said a few friends were stopping by for lunch. She was glad they were coming so she could use up some of the massive amounts of food she's gotten.

Here knee surgery was 7 days ago and she's scooting around with her walker and says she isn't in any pain. SORE, but no real pain. She doesn't take any Tylenol anymore. The physical Therapist that came to the house yesterday to check her told when she goes for her Out Patient therapy to take 2 Tylenol just before she leaves the house. They make you do a LOT of big time stretches to get you to bend that knee all the way.

Karen:
They got 7 INCHES of snow in that area in the picture. CRAZY even for Up North!
1635968502093.png Somebody posted this 1st Snowman from that area. Way too early for that.
Hope you can get rid of what ever it is that you have going. Just don't let it go too long before getting it checked.
Did both of your sisters get their 2nd Covid-Shots and maybe even the Booster? How about you.... can't remember if you said you got that booster or not.

I'm out of here. I need to go downstairs and arrange the Treadmill so I can watch TV and start up a daily walking program. Don't want these legs to get stiff since I can't bike outside anymore. Brrrr.

Lee: Are you out looking for OWLS to save today? Those pictures on Facebook were just so cute.

Later gang.
