Welcome to a new week, Bunnies.
125 to 150 trick or treaters for you BB. We came nowhere near that. Had around 45. And one real interesting girl in the bunch. It was a girl that brought along her pet rat. She even sat it on Kathi's shoulder. The girl said, "It must like you because it's sniffing around you". Better Kathi than me. I happen to like daylight trick or treating. Safer for the little kids, plus we can better see their costumes.
YIKES, 5 bucks a gallon for your gas, Lee. So happy that you are eligible for your booster shots now.
Thanks for the heads-up on Eddie, K2. It's a shame you weren't home when Marge called. But at least she left a message. Sorry that Art needed that tooth pulled. A bridge now, or an implant?
KC; How cool and creative those lighted Christmas presents are. You are so right that all those Medicare plans can make your head spin. The differences in some of them are so small.
We were Mrs. Kravitz-ing our next door neighbor yesterday.
A lead-up to that; They've had an above ground pool for about 15 years. And had even built a large wooden deck for it. A couple of weeks ago their pool liner was out for trash pick-up. Didn't think anything of it since those things do wear out. The deck sits above the top of their wooden fence, so we can see it when looking out the kitchen window.
But yesterday there was hammering that sounded more like a sledge-hammer than just a hammer. And the sound of a sawzall. And I saw one guy with a crowbar.
In the morning the pool-deck was there. By the end of the day it had disappeared.
Now that they are empty-nesters maybe they just said, "enough of this pool". "Its' maintenance and cost."
