Regina, yes, Jetty Park has a big (huge) campground. Not to mention Ron Jons Resort is walking distance!! Ice cold cervesa's!!

Posting to wish everybody a very Happy New Year! We are staying home and babysitting while our daughter celebrates her bday. Yes, she was a new year's baby. What are your plans?

Any experience with taking beverages onboard the Carnival ship? Don't do it on RCCL. It will be confiscated!

How did yours pass thru? Was this on the Carnival line? Did you pour yours in a different bottle? Our beverages were confiscated by RCCL two years ago so we haven't tried since then.

George...I had plenty of beer at debarkation.
Sheree... Our new house design would be 50% living and 75% closets. As far as "camping" in a RV the work "camping" needs to be clairified.

Hi guys - enjoying the last day off before returning to work. Went out and ordered furniture this morning. We are in the last month of construction. Hopefully we'll have our keys by this time next month! We're getting snow right now. Thankfully we don't get as much here on the west side of Cleveland as they do in the snow belt, which stretches from the east side of Cleveland all the way up past Buffalo. We have not booked yet, but do plan to do so. Just a lot going on right now! Glad to see everyone posting!

You may want to check Craig's List too for furniture. It is amazing how much money you can save shopping there. We just bought a marble table and chairs with tags for $150. It retailed for $2K. I wish I would have known about this site when we first moved in as we spent a fortune on furniture. The first table and chairs we bought cost over $3K in 2001. It is in terrible condition today.

Geez, it is cold here (35 degrees) and suppose to freeze tonight.

Thanks Barb - I will check it out. I knew you could buy used furniture there - but not brand new. That's good to know! George, we saw that snow on TV, too. We're about 20 minutes west of there, and we had nothing while it was snowing like crazy on TV. I don't think we had more than an inch. That's nothing for us. I allowed extra time for the commute this morning, and ended up at work 20 minutes earlier than normal. The only place with slick roads was inside the apartment complex.

I didn't know it had tags on it. The table and chairs advertised "like new." We found the tags hanging on one of the chairs. We are very happy with the purchase.

I thought is was going to snow here in FL. It has been freezing here for the past two days. I hate cold weather! Oh, this weekend will be back near 80 degrees. Woo hoo!

In Aruba, has anybody been to Eagle Beach or Palm Beach? If so, what did you think? Any special "must have" items from Aruba?

Hi All Happy New Year We are good here I think we might do the Dream again the second week of july It will be nice to cruise again I just wish it could be with yall. I will check back in from time to time..
 
Barb, Yes we booked awhile back. We have the cheap seats again this time around. :-) Better to have cheap seats than no seats I guess. I plan to spend most of my time lounging on George and Anne's balcony though so it really doesn't matter what my room is like. :doubleup:
