Good morning, Ducks, Ducklings and DITs, from central Joisey where it's a partly sunny and chilly 32 degrees.
Today is half-day Friday. I don't have quite enough time in this week, so I have to stay until 2 or so, but I still get out earlier than normal.....hooray!!!!
Now that we have sufficiently recovered from the cruise (read that as all the laundry is done), we need to start getting organized for our whirlwind trip to Cocoa Beach in two weeks. We're heading down for a 50th Wedding Anniversary party for close Friends of ours. It's a good thing I procrastinated on putting my summer clothes away! :lol :lol :lol

Quack Quack enjoying the San Francisco facts Judi. Enjoy your friends 50th. Have hit time to just dream abt cruises and things to come here. Don't think we will hve a very big Thanksgiving dinner. Christmas kids are planning to be here the day after Christmas. so stocking up on books and lots of reding between now and then. Thinking abt time to get the tred mill down and getting to walking more., not rushing into that as still have some sore places from my floor dives. Hugs to all . Have seen some really cute new ducky things recently.

Good Mooooooooorning DDD's!!
I've missed all you Duckies and have had fun reading the back posts....can't wait for August. Woo-hoo!! I am working on 2 - 3 other couples. One being Mindy's parents. And the other two being our close friends from home here. Fingers crossed of course that they will be able to come down quack-quack lane with us.
Other than that, I've been working really, really hard, but today is Saturday, and I have the upstairs to clean and get ready for Ryan to come home this coming week, I'll make sure his room is ready and that he is comfy. It sure will be good to see him and give him a big =hug. It's only been since Feb!!
Then tonight I am going to make a turkey spaghetti dinner. I've never used ground turkey before, for spaghetti, so this is going to be a new thing. I'll let you know how it works out.
Watched a pitiful movie last night...War, Inc...the sad thing is that both Cusacks were in it...they were too good for this plot and made the rest of the characters flat. I just about had to put toothpicks in my eyelids to keep them open. :lol
Then I woke up at 6 am this morning after having a Weird dream, so here I am. Time to rise and shine and start the day, come one, come all...quack-quack-quack!!!

I did not arise this a.m. until 8 and it felt so good to snuggle down in my cover each time I awoke. Today is a putter around day as I worked so hard yesterday. I must and will get laundry done today though.
Den shot a turkey yesterday so we'll have fresh turkey breast for dinner. I made a homemade turkey spaghetti sauce last night and have plenty left, so I think we'll put fresh rosemary from the garden, olive oil and capers on the turkey breast - wrapped it in bacon and bake it, and then serve the turkey breast over a bed of fresh fettuccine noodles and the spaghetti sauce,sprinkle with fresh parmesan, have a salad and garlic bread, and call it dinner. :lol

I spent all of yesterday trying to reconstruct data missing from my computer crash - I think I have retrieved all the most important data, but I'd really like to know what happened to two months of data on my external backup drive.
Computer Tech returns tomorrow morning.
