Thank you for all the good wishes - my new computer is up and running and it would appear that all the data was retrieved from my external backup drive. Now, I'm learning Microsoft Vista "on the job". :dizzy
We took the Duck Tour in Ketchikan in May. It was rainy and windy, so they threw a vinyl covering over the amphibious vehicle, and off we went. While we were paddling around the bay, I got to take this picture:
That Duck Tour is very cool. The vehicle is right on the pier at the boat (whichever end of the pier you are on), so you only have to walk off and walk on. The vehicle is not Accessible, though.
Remember when I identified the Segway Tours as a possible thing to do in Saf Francisco? And, a few folks mentioned that riding one of those contraptions might be a bit too complicated?
Segways are very easy to ride. We went to the Tech Museum in San Jose and got to play on one. Lots of fun, everyone did pretty well. If you can stand up you can ride a Segway. They rent them all over the place in CA, lots of police use them here too.
Reminds me of the story of how there were only two cars in one city at one time (when cars first started rolling off the assembly line) and the two cars managed to have an accident! LOL!
