Good morning.
19F here but feels like 12F. A heat wave I say! By Wednesday and Thursday we could see the upper 30’s and mid 40’s.
My appointment exceeded my hopes yesterday. Six months ago for the first time since my radiation my PSA had crept up. Still within the range for a guy my age but not what we hope for. Both the doctor and I were a little concerned. Yesterday it had dropped to .38! The second lowest level since our journey began in July 2021.
Now Kathie, this is where you and Art come into the story. I remembered what Art’s doctor had told him about cycling before his blood work. I laid off the bike for a week before my blood work this time. I related that to Dr. Yousef as I had been on the stationary bike regularly leading up to my previous test. He smiled and went in to a very medical explanation about how, yes, the cycling could indeed contribute to the level. Bottom line, THANK YOU ART!
In other news…
We had a right nasty snow storm yesterday as I headed up to the hospital. Not a lot of snow but blowing, whiteouts and nasty. Subie and I slowed down and drove “smart” but the roads sure did get nasty for a bit.
I used to be fairly proficient with electronics and computers Kathie. As the manufacturers have tried to make things easier I find I get more frustrated when the simple things, like your email, don’t work as they should. And the average person simply can’t figure out the fix.
Charlotte Church has been in the news a lot lately Mike. Mostly it seems for constantly wearing outfits that show her cleavage, not shaving “anything” (I quoted her there) and not wearing deodorants of any kind. But the lady can still sure sing.
I see a lot of mid 60’s and low 70’s in Florida’s long range forecast through January Karen. We’d appreciate if you could have them not get any cooler. How are you and the family doing?
I think I’d enjoy an early cup of coffee. Can I put one on for anyone else while I’m up?
Have the kind of day you look back on this evening and smile about.
