Return of the Cruising Bunny's....

Thanks Lee, we did, saw some old friends,
I wrote the above last night, guess what I forgot to do.
Thanks for t he good wishes Lee, It is supposed to get to the upper 80s today, I plant on going ourside in a few minutes, there will be shade if I want it.
Have a god day.

Understandably, it looks like it’s just you and I for a few days Mike.
They are predicting the temperature to feel like 95F here late this afternoon. I imagine if it’s that warm for you Mike you’ll sit out for a bit.
I’m glad I replaced a cracked fence board yesterday when it wasn’t as hot.
Hugs going out to our two caregivers, Kathie and Karen.

It is 89 degrees right now, good time to stay inside where we have air con., I like it warm but that is a little much
I got my blood test this morning, results were on the my chart by the time I got h ome, nothing unusual on it. I guess I'm sorr of boring which is okay, I still may get out side in the shade. I think it is supposed to get to 90 tomorrow, the mail man asked Fay earlier, what is the problem with this weather? He is a friendly person.
Hi Kc and K2

It must be the day for getting test results Mike. I would consider you anything but boring! We get colon cancer tests, thanks to our provincial healthcare system, every few years once we turn 50. Both Lu-Ann’s test results and mine came back clear this morning.
Feels like 91F here. Agreed…too hot for too much outdoor time. I do feel bad for outdoor workers.
((Kathie)) and ((Karen)).

Good morning my friends.
It’s supposed to be a little cooler by just a few degrees today.
It’s recycling day and the bin man was down the other side of the street well before 7:00 making all kinds of racket! Lots of people will miss the pickup because they put their bins to the curb when they go to work. They do say to have your bins out by 6:00.
Not much else going on today. Yet!
Have the best day you can all have.

Finally getting a chance to check in, Barb is still here & will be for quite a bit longer I believe. She had a follow up appt. today at the hospital Trauma center which is managing her wound care. They took the wound vac off so they could take pictures of the wound for the Dr. when the assistant came back he said there was still dead tissue & fat in the wound and gave her the choice of having out patient surgery on Monday or putting the wound vac back on and giving it 3 more weeks to see if it cleans it out. Since I have my laser eye surgery on Monday she choose to wait. She was upset about needing more surgery, but I take it as a positive sign that they were giving her the option to have it out patient, before it was you need to go to the hospital NOW!
Kathie, I am so sorry to hear about your friend Elaine, sending Hugs & Prayers to you

I guess Summer isn’t quite ready to leave us. After a few weeks of no blooms we have one hibiscus stopping by to say “hello”.
Speaking of stopping by to say ”hello”…Thank you so much for the update on Barb Karen. Better to take time and heal properly than to rush things. Will Jane be able to pop in on the two of you after your eye surgery Monday?
Jim and Gail’s brand new Chevy Traverse has some sort of computerized brake cylinder issue. 4 months old maybe? and virtually undrivable since Tuesday past waiting for the part and a service slot. We picked Gail up and took her to the grocery store this morning. When we got home the local GM dealer had called and it goes in Monday at 08:00. The dealer didn’t even offer them a loaner! What has happened to good will and customer service?
78F here under bright sunny skies Mike. A good day to get some fresh air.
Thinking of you too Kathie. Hope all is as well as can be expected.

Late getting in here. I went to the dr. this afternoon and went over the blood test, actually the dr went over the test and said every thing is fine, heart sounds good so I'm good for another 6 months. Glad your test results came back goo,
Your hibiscus look very nice Lee, nice to see it t his late. As for summer leaving us it was 90 today, I too feel sorry for any one that had to work outside today, as we were leaving for the dr's office the mailman walked up our ramp, he smile and gave a it;s very hot wave.
Our grape tomatoes are very small but they are so sweet they taste like candy. Fay said her big boy was sweet also.
Fay takes the recycle and garbage to the curb Tuesday evening as do most of our neighbors. It is picked up early Wed morning. I used to do all that fun stuff.

The dealer didn’t even offer them a loaner! What has happened to good will and customer service? It is getting harder and harder to find but we h ave been very fortunate that we have great people that help us.
Have a good night Lee and any one else that is reading this.

Aw, isn’t that nice. After 70 plus years Fay still says that you Mike, her big boy, is sweet also. I think she’s sweet for saying that.
Have a good night everyone.

Hi friends.
My dear, Elaine, passed peacefully yesterday (Thurs) at 2:15 pm.
May she rest in peace.
Funeral viewing & service is this Sunday.
It’s been a long week.

I’ll be back. Just need a day to put my tired feet up.
Love you more than you know.

This has been a lazy day for me. I did a few light exercises and that is about all. I did get a letter from a lady I used to dance with and i will write a letter to her soon.
When I checked the temps earlier today it was 89, it wouldn't surprise me if it got up to 90 again, summer is hanging on , hope it last for a long time.
Sleep well.

Thank U GIF by Lucas and Friends by RV AppStudios
YOU ARE ALL THE “BEST” extended family a girl like myself could ever wish for! Bless you for caring.

Funeral home tomorrow. I managed to contact some of the neighbors from our old neighborhood that shared SO MANY GOOD FUN and CRAZY times together. Stacey will appreciate seeing her childhood friends support her. (They’re all over 50 now).
Enjoy your Sunday. Good night.

No doubt a day ahead filled with memories, laughter and tears Kathie. Remember and cherish the good times with Elaine.
Yes Mike, uncommonly warm for this time of year. It could feel like the low 90’s later today!
Hi Karen.
Have a wonderful day everyone.

Memories with old friends are the best Kathie, cry a little bit and I hope you can laugh a lot with your old gang, We all care for each other.
I hope you enjoyed the nice weather Lee. 90s seems like a little too much. It is supposed to be in the 70s starting tomorrow or th e next day with rain.
Hope all is well with you Karen.
Take care

65F to start this Monday morning. There was a slight breeze as Ava and I headed out on our early walk. It may feel like the low 80’s later on with a chance of much needed rain. We could see rain over the next few days as temps settle in to a more Fall like range.
Good for you keeping up the light exercises Mike.
I hope your day went better than you may have hoped for Kathie. Was Stacey surprised and happy to see some old friends?
I also hope that your eye procedure goes well Karen.
We have our Dancing With Parkinson’s later this afternoon. That gives us all morning to get into mischief.
Have a good, no, have a GREAT day.
