I was going to wait to get a bigger consensus, but there appears to be a lack of entries. . . . I will go with Corky on this one and take #4.

:bang:

All y'all are safe...I got nuttin' from any of you.

Sorry Corky! Better luck today maybe?

Wow! Haptick is actually a word I have heard of before, but I am not sure about the meaning of it.
Hmmm... wonder if it has something to do with touching?
I'll go for #2.

Woohooo..Funnel..you are correct! Which means a couple of other people got good points for their convincing definitions!Glo-ree-bee got a point from Seagrandma...and herself!! lol And Corky...who do you think you gave a point to...do I really have to saY?...he even gave himself a point AFTER you'd convinced yourself it was ceramic art.

Okay, this time I'll jump out there and take a guess at #1. Lacking interest in one's children. Okay, now, do you trust me, or go out on your own ? ? ?

Oh no, Seamom...I knew who I gave my point to. And rest assured that he'll get his one day, oh yes, yes he will!! :hammer:

Now, I am going to have to think long and hard today for astorgia. Because I know I probably am waaaaaaay behind in points. Now that I'm counting or anything like that. LOL

Funnel - congrats on picking the correct answer!!

Thanks!
Wow, was I the only one?

Now it will be much more difficult again.
For astorgia I choose between #1 and #2, but I think I'll go with #2.
Did I make someone happy now?

LOL!!!! Tobyn...are you sitting there chuckling? You wouldn't do that now, would you, just because you know who picked your answer AGAIN...just when you invited her to trust your choice....which of course was correct! What could be sadder than lacking interest in one's children! Funnel..you had the misfortune too of picking dwarfism.

Mom and Glo-ree-bee chose my answer..teehee...I'd read sometime not far back about the Astor's and their furrier interests so stuck that in. :P

Now for morbidezza:

1. A mortuary

2. An Italian funeral home

3. A technique in painting that creates realistic flesh tones

4. The outer roof perch of a 'widow-walk'

How about this time you all try to pick the definition Tobyn invented and THEN try to pick the correct one? If it doesn't help, it at least could be funny!

Yep, I chuckled for a while! ! ! And quite honestly, I picked that answer based on your hint, I had no idea what the real one was.

For today, I will take #4. Who is with me? ? ?

Heck, if I can't beat ya, might as well join you...I'll go with

# 4. The outer roof perch of a 'widow-walk'

and see how far it gets me.

Okay, maybe we will both get a point or give someone a point as it is just a guess on my part. Cross my heart!

Oh no! One more point given away to Tobyn... :bang:

I thought I whould be too late for this today (ehr... yesterday) but it seems as if I still have a chance to feed Tobyn with more points!

Morbidezza: I think the definition from Tobyn is #3 so I'll go with that one!
Let's see if I tricked myself this time...

/Erik

Haha...you guys are soooo funny. Corky...don't trust Tobyn..not because he lead you to his answer but the WRONG one. And Funnel, you chose the right answer, and NOT Tobyn's! Seagrandma...did you intend it to be the correct answer or Tobyn's? Morbidezza is all about the flesh tones and not MY answer of the widow-walk (not bad eh!).

We're a little behind with the game because of the new board work but the definitions for barbaralillia (BAR-ba-ra-LAY-lee-a):

1. Having difficulty speaking foreign languages

2. Pertaining to strangers

3. Forging and twisting iron to form a decorative fence

4. Strength beyond norm in the female of a species

Wow, I guessed wrong and NO ONE picked my bluff? NO POINTS? I am hurt! Good job on your bluff Seamom.

barbaralillia:

1. Having difficulty speaking foreign languages

2. Pertaining to strangers

3. Forging and twisting iron to form a decorative fence

4. Strength beyond norm in the female of a species

For reasons to be described later, I'll take #1. Having difficulty speaking foreign languages.
