Lisa - is there ANY way that PizzaBoy and Neil could sneak a week off, (you, too, of course!!!) especially since the Memorial Day holiday occurs during the cruise?

Unfortunately, no. It's a very busy time of year for teachers as they close out the school year, including meeting one-on-one with graduating seniors and doing all the necessary paperwork. But we can certainly spend all day Saturday and Sunday morning in the City.

Calgon - stop it!! I can't stand the torture of sitting here waiting for you all to take another Duck Cruise. :D Of course I am kidding and relish in your excitement. :boogie:

What is the air and water temperature like in Bermuda at the end of May? Inquiring minds want to know. :)

Jeanie ... just think of Our Pool Temp when U were here at the beginning of the season and that should be a close comparison. As for Air Temp think April in your area with perhaps a bit more humidity and that should be close. :)

Gotta line up a few Ducks in regards to next Fall and 2011 Spring cruises but if by chance it happens I guess we could always visit the Catskills.

If it was a Vista Class ship it would be a Slam Dunk as HAL has a REAL Beauty there but I will Never say Never. Like Lisa63 I seriously doubt it would be a secret like the Alaska cruise. Time will tell as we monitor the pricing and what lies on the calendar in 2010. Doubt we could swing the Balcony pricing but perhaps we can sleep on earl's balcony. For the time being we will let Calgon keep control of the countdown and drive Sunflower nuts. :bbat:

I hope to have group fares next week, at long last. Quack quarters will be in 001.:boogie:

If Judi is checking this thread, she is the Ambassador of Good Will for Bermuda.

Calgon - a friend gave Pucci ducky slippers several years ago. Absolutely no way - having some self-respect, he wouldn't even allow me to slip one on a paw.

Lisa - we'll look forward to seeing you in Manhattan. Jim and Val, hope you can join us. Hope you bought FCD's on Westerdam!

QUACK-QUACK ... 570 days to go. It doesn't matter how you get there. Just get there! ...

By the way, I couldn't help but notice that the Swizzle Inn webmaster uses a duck as his logo (lower right corner of the page). This must be a fine establishment ........

E, thanks for the information, I will never forget that first dip the beginning of the season a few years back. It will lived with me forever. We all need to win the lottery so we can book the duck cruise and all the group cruise for the next few years. That would be fun but a dream for some.

Why, yes, yes we have! One time many years ago, Colleen was with us (thank heavens) and she had to lead us back to the ship.

Another time, Mal and I went there for lunch. It was so good, we turned around and went back for dinner! :boogie:

Still another time, Mal and I had a pitcher of Swizzles with our lunch, then moved out to the bar for yet another pitcher. The owner refused to serve us until we told him we were calling a taxi to take us back to the ship....he thought we were on mopeds. :duh:

Before we went to Alaska the first time, Bermuda was my all-time favorite destination (8 cruises and 2 land trips). Now, it's a toss up between there and Alaska!!!

Judi, if you like Bermda as much as Alaska, I think I'm looking forward to this even more than I thought! QUACK! QUACK! QUACK!

Jacquie, it's totally different than Alaska, obviously, but it's the best island I've ever been lucky enough to get to.

There a song about Bermuda that pretty much sums up how I feel about it, "Bermuda is Another World."

Samuel Clemens is oft quoted as having said, "You can have heaven, I'd rather go to Bermuda." I agree with him 10000000%

Judi, since you've been there so many times ... can you fill us in on the Bermuda triangle? Is there anything the Ducks need to be especially wary of? Would a square dance off-set the effects of the triangle?

Can you fill us in more on "Swizzles"? Should we consider a "Swizzle-Swill Party"????????

I just checked their menu. Are those prices in US or Bermudian dollars??
