Is it Traditional seating (Early or Late), My Time, Anytime, Specialty Restaurants, Buffet or somewhere else?

Traditional early for us.

I mostly dine in the main dining room and anytime, usually about 19:30 which gives you plenty of time to get onboard and have a shower and pre dinner drink after spending a day ashore.

My wife and I haven't dined in the main dining room in over 10 years. We dine when we want and where we want. Total spontaneity for us except when we have to make reservations for the steak house

We like to eat early, but I really like anytime dining. It just gives more flexibility when you've been in port all day. I check out the menu for the dining room and if there's nothing of interest, I will take the buffet or possibly specialty dining. We are not terribly picky, so dining is not an issue for us.

We'll be on the Enchanted Princess for 30 days in the Caribbean & since it's all repeated islands for us we'll stay with the early anytime seating at a table for 2. Plenty of time to get ready each day for a 5 PM sit-down.

I haven't eaten in the main dining rooms in the last 8-9 years. I always choose alternative dining or the buffet. However on my last cruise last month, I went to the main dining room for breakfast and they must have delivered my food to another table as I waited for over a half an hour and finally asked a waiter where was my meal. They had to re-order my meal.

Actually a similar question but different! We are traveling 10 nights on a Norwegian ship so it's dine anytime. But we like to get to know others at dinner time. Is it possible to be assigned a time and table to meet others?

I can not comment on NCL specifically. But other lines when you show up there is usually others in line that the "Organizer" will try to accommodate various requests. Sitting with others is a bonus for them..They will have a table of similar requests and when that table fills or time allows you will then get served for dinner. I'd ask for a smaller table (4-6) and take it from there. Anything bigger and the conversation with far away persons can be difficult esp in a new social group) We once ended up sitting with the same basic group for most of the cruise as we all ended up around the same time the first night. BONUS if you for some reason would like to NOT sit with certain people your request can easily be granted.
