ParrotMom, we just returned from a SA/Antarctica 16 day cruise on Star Princess. It was great. I signed up on the "other" roll call way later than a lot of people, and found a lot of them had already made "friends" or knew each other from past cruises. I understand what you're saying, but I just asked a few questions, talked about my excitement about the cruise (probably only 1/2 dozen entries), met up at the hotel, then the ship w/ some of the people and found I met up w/ some nice people. Did I hang around w/ the group?--not really, but it was fun to run into them from time to time. Try again--if you're still not comfortable.. oh, well, you're still going to have a good time on your cruise.( I'm just an old"er"optimist!!--drives my daughter nuts!!

My husband and I will be sailing the Mexican Riviera on April 17, on the Sapphire Princess!
Can't wait to see the Dolphins swimming alongside the ship :)

Don't let any one spoil your trip......that's a big ship...no need to even be around them (fellow cruisers) this will be my 4th with princess .....can't say enough about how good it is.....

I hope that you had a good time. It doesn't matter what cruise line you sail on. There are always those who cannot have fun, even on vacation. My cure? A bucket of beer, and all you hear is blah-blah-blah.
