Here's to uneventful travels!!!!! Now, if we can manage to find some tornado repellent, I'll be happy. Oklahoma got hit about an hour ago with two casualties, and our local weather said to be prepared for severe/tornado weather all during the night, and up until about 3:00 am tomorrow. Goody, It stops just in time for me to go to work! Guess I should go pack my carry on just in case. i wonder if the bathtub is big enough for two people, two dogs, and four suitcases? Oops, forgot Joey, so add one bird to that total. So far, Joey is silent and he's a very good tornado predictor. I'm REALLY ready to get away from this severe weather!!!!! Please stay safe Duckies - we're gonna have a fantastic time, even with Mal in his thong with a martini in his hand! QUACK

Not packed.
Very hard to pack and hide the suit cases from my dog.He is having a break down over the rolling rack.
The weight limit is a big problem .Is anyone else sitting on the suitcase to close it ????:madd:

I had to break the news to Pucci this morning that Mommy is going bye-bye - I don't know who's more distressed at "the news", he or I. He watched me pack (someone was helping me because of my bad back). Either Pucci's nose was in a suitcase, or he snuggled in to separate me from the suitcase.

Please give your dog some scritches from me. I understand exactly how you - and your dog - feel.

Bad back? I've got some catching up to do!

I will be gone only one night, yet Frasier is happy as one of his best friends will be staying overnight to keep him company (and to give him his insulin). Still, I've been packing my overnight bag behind closed doors while Frasier was asleep in another room.

Mal/Charles, I am so sorry to be missing you this time... hope to see you in AC.

And to all others I don't get a chance to see on Saturday... BON VOYAGE!!!

My darling cat, Lulu, caught on a few days ago that we were leaving and her nose is seriously out of joint. She is not her usual loving friendly cat but rather is in her secret place and when she comes out it's to yowl in protest. Poor girl. A good friend will come in and see her, feed her and give her treats but she won't be happy until I am back where I should be - a lap chair for her convenience:biggrin:

I am finishing up everything today so we are good to go tomorrow. Paid some bills this morning that positively hurt and washed out the bathing suits. About to run out to get the cat food, cat litter and other necessities fully stocked up.

I cannot wait to leave for the airport!

Pucci is so nervous that he got sick this morning. His [new] puppy-sitter is picking him up later this afternoon. Mommy is a basket case, as usual, about him. :(

Mary Ann - I am so sorry that Pucci got sick this morning. I am not sure who it's harder on - the furbabies or us.

I am really missing my lap time with Lulu but she is definitely not happy. She's off her food except for the dry and water. I have to hide the suitcase behind closed doors or she will "christen" it for me to show her displeasure.

I will miss her and think about her but know she will be okay here while we are gone. It's just the leaving for me that is hardest.

I hope Pucci has fun with his dog sitter and I hope you are okay too.

I don't know about you, Meg, but I'm pretty sure that Pucci's Mommy is far worse than Pucci himself. :whistle:
