I am also in the not packed group but I am not leaving till Fri so I will start putting things in suitcases on Wed. I still have a hundred and one things to do before I go need to make a list of everything that dh has to eat I put everything in freezer inside house I have one outside but don''t want him to even go into it.
I have everything ready to pack and just have to put it in suitcases I have to weigh suitcase for even if it is first bag is free it can't be over 50lbs it says for jet blue stuff I got with my E ticket.

Audrey - I hear you on the not packed yet, weighing the suitcase thing. I am just starting today to pull it together. My goal is to have everything set to go by Wednesday so I am not packing at midnight like every other trip... :bang: We will see if it works out as Marty is working straight up until we leave on Thursday.

Today I am getting a box together for my daughter so Marty can ship it off tomorrow. I pulled out chicken for dinner tonight but can't wait until I am onboard and not having to cook dinner....

Okay I am not getting anything done today at all. I keep going to read about the ship, the port, going on Holland America to look at the gifts to order for the cabin (chocolate dipped strawberries are sounding good right now)......Fun yes but not making waiting any easier.

How many people are like me and find themselves checking the board constantly?

I am now going to try to find Calgon's attire for the Walk for the Cure so I can show it to Marty (and make sure he isn't planning a similar outfit :bbbat.

I just got through ironing and will start to pack tonight. I am bound and determined not to leave it all for the night before (Tuesday) and pack all night long like I usually do However....I never sleep the night before we leave on a cruise so why not wait, lol
We head out Wednesday and am looking forward to meeting everyone soon!!

Main suitcase is packed, carry on isn't. I do my best to pack early so when things happen (tornadoes and power outages, for instance) I'll be ready. Can't stand that last minute stuff! Of course, I will probably revise the main suitcase 10 times between now and then.

I guess it does not make a difference when you pack. It still wrinkles.
Our last few cruises, we brought that new wrinkle free spray & it works. I now call the spray my new travel iron.

Charles, I've never used it, but I believe someone said it was a Downy product.

I've also heard that a mixture of 50% fabric softener, 50% water will do the trick!

Yes that is the name but I have purchase the dollar general brand and other off brands and they work.

We spray Ricks shirts, hung them in the bathroom while taking a hot shower and the wrinkles are gone. I was a non believer at first first but it works, I was amazed

Good morning fellow Duck and DIT's! Running around and doing last minute things today as we are off to New York tomorrow!!
Guess I have another thing to add to my list of things to do today..Downy Wrinkle Release, lol Better that than trying to sneak in my
travel steamer which is a pain anyway.

If all goes well we will get to meet Calgon tonight as FEMA is setting up headquarters here for the tornado disaster in Joplin. We are looking forward to taking him out for a bite to eat.

Thanks to everyone for all the good wishes, I look forward to seeing and meeting those who we have not met yet soon! Hope all have a safe and relaxing trip to New York CIty.
