Veendam Ducks and DITs!!!

That's a hard one, Earl, but it sure beats the Dockyards!

Let's see. It could be a Disney ship, I guess. But it's too small. But isn't that NYC across from the quay?

:)

That makes it too easy, Earl. :)

The ship is Victoria, the port is Halifax!

For you duckies from the Northeast, don't worry, the duckies are a very friendly bunch and everyone speaks to everyone - ALL the time! That's just the way it is, HONEST. I was very surprised at our first ducky experience in San Francisco, as eveyone acts like they've known you forever. Hope you don't mind! By the way, Mama Duck is the one with a different Pucci shirt every day, unless she's wearing a duckie shirt. Here in Oklahoma, we speak to everyone, because if you don't, you're considered to be "uppity" as my very Southern grandmother always said. Believe me, I always did what she told me to do!!!

Throughout my life, I've never tolerated, nor been a part of, "cliques". Fortunately, while friends will congregate on Ducky cruises, we've never been plagued by cliques. Plain and simply, we're a friendly group - sometimes wacky, sometimes serious. But always friendly amongst ourselves and with others aboard ship and even ashore.

Congratulations on your short count down!!! Wish we were going along to share in on the Duck fun, but this cruise was not a good fit for us. However, we have booked the July 13, 2012, 14 night AK cruise r/t from Seattle, looking forward to seeing Mama Duck, the Ducks, and hopefully some DITs. Wishing everyone a safe and fun filled trip, Quack, Quack.

Jim & Claire,

Jim & Claire - I'll miss you on this cruise, but very much look forward to seeing you on Amsterdam's July 13, 2012 cruise. There will be many DITs on the cruise - as of this writing, we have more booked on the Amsterdam than we do on Veendam. That cruise, thankfully, took off like wildfire!

Wow! I didn`t know that and its still more than a year away.

I am so looking forward to the Ducky cruise and meeting everyone. I have not met some of the group and all ready they are making me feel like family. I am looking forward to a cruise where there are no cliques and everyone accepts everyone..that is my kind of cruise! We in Kansas also are friendly to everyone, part of what everyone calls "midwestern hospitality." I am also grateful to be able to have a choice of group cruises. Some are a better fit for some and some are a better fit then others.

I'll be sending out an email this weekend to the Duck Crew giving you my cell phone number and New York hotel contact. Not knowing what's happening with C@, sadly, I think email is far safer at this point.

QUACK!

Mama Duck

Congrats on the short count down duckies, I remember when it was over 500 days. You are going to have so much fun
