MSU just WON at Illinois. Coach Izzo surpassed Bob Knight‘s record as winningest coach. 354 Big Ten games. It‘s a big deal in Basketball. He’ll most likely keep this record for a long time.

It's Sunday.......AND THERE IS NO FOOTBALL!!!!
What do non-football people do all day on a Sunday? I should just go back to bed until Monday. The whistles, the sounds of the crowds.......
You've got to be kidding me Lee! You NOT returning to the sunshine state next year? That's something you and your bride look forward to every year, and the rest of the Bunnies look forward to hearing about your adventures while you are there.
And how the Hell have you only spent only $20 cash since you've been there. That's not even one day's tips.
I LOVE the idea of using a leaf-blower to disperse the snow. I bet you a very happy that you bought a battery powered one. I've got to admit that I've never had a problem with ducks or duck poop.
Mike; You can thank Fay for her her spaghetti, because now I've got a craving for some. I see that you DO like your chocolates. Me too. And once in a while I like to slip in some dark chocolate. Before the election, I did NOT like the Buffoon. But now I just hate him and his ideas to hurt people. Firing all these thousands of people, some of which have had their government job for decades. Some within months or weeks of retirement. He has NO empathy for anyone.
No great plans for today. Kathi is going to set up my new cell phone today, since my old one I've had for years and years crapped out. And yes, the new one is another Jitterbug flip-phone. I just want a cell phone with me when I'm out and about, in case there's a problem. But when I come home, it gets turned off and put back in the closet. You'll never see me walking around staring at a screen.

We use our credit card for just about everything we purchase Dave. It actually helps us keep better track of where and what we spend than using cash. Cudos for you having an emergency phone. My phone is my camera, my gps and on rare occasions, a phone. It’s in my pocket or on my computer desk.
RANT…As much as we do look forward to visiting The Sunshine State the chat with fellow Canadians is around what we all fear is the blatant disregard for democracy and all of the good people of America. People just don’t feel comfortable coming back unless things change.
I’m sorry my friends but one only has to look up Germany a few decades ago which suffered through a dictatorship and totalitarian state. If you can’t see the similarities between that and what t-rump is doing to The USA look closer. END OF RANT
That’s a heck of a lot of wins in any sport Kathie! Well done Coach Izzy. Speaking of sport, I see Team USA beat Team Canada last night. I also read that the hockey game finally broke out once the fights ended. Tensions are most certainly running higher than usual. Of course, you and Art (and the rest of you) will always be welcome in Amherstburg. I still have the old plates from the van so we can cover up your state tags to help you blend in.

Lee: I'm still laughing t the "Old Plates" going over our car plates when visiting. Too funny.
And ART really wanted CANADA to win that hockey game.
Dave: You could watch re-runs of Football games or get into Basketball. March Madness is always fun to watch if you pick out your favorite College team and follow them.
Good for you getting another Flip-Phone. Did you have to go to a Pawn Shop to find one!
My biggest problem with my iPhone is when I switch off the sound button at night to avoid hearing it ring and forget to switch it back on. Then I get land line calls wondering if I'm alright or why haven't I answered peoples calls. Ha Ha.
We didn't get 1/4 of the snow the weather people were screaming about. I'd say a 1 inch at the MOST. And that was from WIND and snow most likely flying around from rooftops.
I'm still staying home from church. Might turn on Karen's church service online. Rev Lisa does a good job.

Dave, Fay takes her phone to the basement with her, we have a phone in the basement but if she would be a distance from it she may not be able to get to it if she fell. I read some where the averag person is on their cell phone every day for hours. I'm like you considering my feelings toward frum, What time is the football game on today, I hope the chiefs are playing, I want to see whats her name.

I hate it when that happens Mike. From what I can tell by the view on our doorbell camera it looks like we got off easy with 6” - 8” of snow. A tad more than your 2”. We did get some high winds and a couple of showers here in FL.

Jill & Mark are off for a weeks vacation in the morning to Marco Island. His brother rented a house and asked them to come down for a week. Jill gave me the site of the place and it has a really nice pool etc, etc. The house last sold for $1,700,000. Crazy somebody would RENT OUT a house costing that much.

I can’t imagine what a $1.7 million dollar home on Marco Island rents for Kathie! Is it pet friendly or are Ashley, Eric or (best pick) you and Art Manny sitting? We are meeting friends at their condo this afternoon to, wait for it, play bingo. That’s it. I’m officially over the hill. Old retired Canadian guy in Florida for two months of winter playing bingo.
I’ll be checking back to see if there’s any word on our Dave.

Went for a drive to see Eric & Manny. Ashley had to actually go into the office today.
Manny was full of energy and happy to see us.
Mark & Jill had a 7:00 am flight. They are there. Landed in Fort Myers airport. Then a 1 hour drive to Marco Island.
The sun is shining, but it’s REALLY WINDY and temps are just at 18F!
I was hoping to hear news update from Kathi regarding Fr Dave. Hope they’re taking real good care of him. He must have a frequent visitor card and gets a big prize when he fills in the card!

Unbelievable Delta plane crash at Toronto airport today. All 77-80 people and crew made it out alive. Plane was UPSIDE DOWN. Just imagine hanging upside down and having to unbuckle your seat belt and drop down.
Prayers for Dave and Kathi.

I hoped to see Marvin the Martian on here this morning. Concern is bordering on worry for Dave and Kathi.
I can’t believe the snow pictures our friends from Ayr (where we lived before The Burg) have sent us! The snow banks are over 5’ tall and there’s more to come.
That was one frightening incident with the Delta aircraft flipping Kathie. I’m sure we’ll hear more today. A miracle that everyone got out.
I do hope everyone has a good day.
