I never knew that Wabbits developed cravings for donuts as they grew older. :)

Keep your snow up in Michigan, K2. None of that stuff hit this area, only some showers. Same thing for today and tomorrow.

Kathi went grocery shopping yesterday and came home with something that reminded me of you, K2. Vernors ginger Ale. Didn't you work at one of their businesses? It's interesting that on the bottle it says "Ginger Soda". "A Michigan Original Since 1866".

Lee; At first I thought you made up the name Mount Dora, until I looked it up. Yup, there really is a place called that in FLAT Florida.

Put me down as King of Naps, Mike. That's what beds and afternoons were made for. It's funny that as your print gets larger, K2's shrank. Computers can be a "joy".

Feeling OK this morning. Not great, but OK.

I know reality will set back in in a little over two weeks BUT, I’m sitting out by the pool at 6:45 with a coffee as I catch up with you this morning. Already been for a 1.5 km walk.
I rarely “Facebonk” Kathie. I did when we had Bear and that was how the greyhound community kept in touch. So, I had to look and see what pics you were mentioning. They were from Disney’s Coronado Springs Hotel. We went over last evening for a stroll and to see the property at night. I bet both you and Art are glad his nose has stopped dripping! I have been taking an allergy pill the past couple of days with all of the pollen in the air. And on The Subie! Not just the Plant City prices and portions are discouraging. So is the traffic on I4!
Come on now Dave. Would I make up a place and weave a story around it? ;) Feeling “OK” is certainly a step in the right direction. No donut cravings here Dave. My weakness is the cookies from Gideon’s Bakehouse. At almost 8 ounces EACH we honestly cut them in four and have a piece in the afternoon and another piece in the evening after dinner. The gang at home has already asked that we bring them back an “original” chocolate chip.
Speaking of Gideon’s, we’re headed to The Springs this morning to get a Valentine’s Strawberry and Chocolate cookie. And likely a coffee from either Starbucks or Joffrey’s as we sit and people watch. One of my favourite and least expensive things to do here in FL.
I wish you all a terrific Thursday!

A nice wander at The Springs this morning. It was a tad overcast but the shade afforded by the clouds was most welcome.
I hope you have all had a fantastic day.

25F now at 6:00 pm and as the weather person said PLUMITING tonight.
Snow has stopped for NOW.
Ed came by earlier and shoveled the driveway and sidewalk. Light fluffy snow.
Then he came by at 5:50 pm and used his snowblower to clear the bottom of
the driveway.
I put out a message on our neighborhood site and asked if we had
street plowing this year. Low and behold the contractor came by shortly after that.

The Squeaky Wheel gets the grease as the saying goes. Works for me. My HOA money

put to good use.

I managed to pull a muscle in my lower back area by BENDING DOWN and REACHING the wrong way. Hate when I do that. I put some of my CBD suave on it and took 2 Tylenol and it's a tad better. The body likes it best when I'm standing and not sitting down right now.

Thanks for the picture Lee. Keep them coming.
DAVE: Good to know you're not suffering too badly. Take it easy. DRINK WATER.
Yup, I did work at Vernor's. I'll have to check and see what's printed on our bottles.

You all have a nice evening.

Tonight, we actually get to watch a few good TV shows.
One being Law & Order.

Hey there Karen and Mike.

As always, I'm so happy when any of you post a picture. Thanks Lee! So you are the cookie-monster and not the donut-monster.

OUCH! Bending, reaching and twisting the wrong way can often hurt like Hell, K2. I hope that by this morning the ouchy is all gone. Oh yea, thanks pal your snow and super cold made it here yesterday. Just not as much snow as you've got.

I wasn't sure last night if I'd be on here this morning, but in the hospital instead.

I've got poor circulation in my legs, and on Wednesday they started to hurt and go numb from time to time. Mostly in my left leg in the ankle and foot. And it happened twice again yesterday. I asked the doctor who did my prostrate surgery about it and he said to go to the Emergency Room.

Since the 1st of the month that surgeon has had me off of my 2 blood thinning medicines to avoid excessive bleeding during that procedure and the bleeding afterwards.

So we went to the ER last evening and they decided that my leg going numb was not from a mini stroke or anything else they could think of. But they believe it's from me being off the blood thinners.

So now I've got to find out when I'll be put back on them.

All these ER visits and hospital stays is getting to be real old.

Good morning!
All I can ask Dave is do you have a frequent visitor pass for the hospital? I’m glad that you ARE on here this morning (every morning as a matter of fact) and that they seem to know why your legs are acting up. How Is Kathi doing through all of this? Give her a hug for me.
What have we told each other about bending and twisting the wrong way Kathie. Stuff we used to do without giving it a second thought now takes planning.
The folks checking on our house have been extra busy with snow removal this year too. Last year they came down for a week with us and a week on the coast. An offer they declined this year. Of course last winter there was no snow. Shovels and blowers were covered in spider webs. I asked Doug if he wanted me to leave gas and oil premixed for the snow thrower this year. I’m betting he wishes he’s said yes to both offers…
What mischief did you get up to yesterday Mike?
We’re expecting a little mid day rain today. I hope there’s enough to wash the pollen off of Subie!
Well, that’s about it for now. Have a very Good Friday everyone.

Good Morning Wrabbits.

Dave: Good move making a trip to the Emergency Room.
Not being a doctor......DUH..... I would think you could be back
on your Blood Thinner pills by now. Call and ask and maybe you can
save yourself a trip. I know whenever I've had surgery the heart doctor
says I can get back on them right away.
Good luck with that and keep on
top of it for sure.
Now to be nosy and ask.... "how's your plumbing working lately?" :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

My lower back still has a nice GRIP on me. I'm going to go into the shower when I get off of this computer and use up 50 gallons of hot water on my backside! Then rub in some Vicks on my back and go lay in bed and read. Not doing a thing today.

Mike: Did you get some snow your way? Not sure if your mail gets delivered to a mailbox on your house wall or at the street but be very careful collecting it. Not worth taking a spill for the junk mail we get these days. I'm subscribed to a USPS
free service that sends me a e-mail everyday of the week showing me the outside of the envelope that will be in my mailbox. If it's just junk mail I don't bother going outside to pick it up at the curb.
Here's the site that you can sign up on. It's free and fun to look and see just what is going to be in our mailbox everyday there is mail service. Try it. It's FREE. Click on the site below:

Lee/Lu-Ann: You both enjoy your day today. Not too many left. Amazing how fast time will past the next few weeks.

Hello to Karen if you're reading along. Still can't believe you're not on here at least 1 time a week!! :(

Later gang.

HOT SHOWER and VICKS rub, 2 Tylenol and rest is helping with the grip on my lower back! Slow but sure.

So far no snow here today. Just WINDY!

Hope you all are having a good day! That means you too Dave. Hope your legs are better today.

Glad you are feelinng at least better Dave, that is some improvement. I enjoyed the glazed donuts for as long as I can remember.
K2, also glad Art is feeling better, hope you didn't get too muchs snow.
That is a nice walk Lee, we used to do about 1/2 that years ago, taking a nice walk in the afternoon or early evening around the circle (block) My weakness is chocolate and anything that is sweet
Fay and Pattie went to Costco today. Fay just walked in the computer room and said it is hot in here, I don't think it is.

I typed the above yesterday, I'm getting pretty bad at that. Happy Valentine's Day
Does Ava's bar have a spot for the well behaved humans Lee?

What mischief did you get up to yesterday Mike? My lips are sealed, actually I cant remember that far back.
K2, our mail box is just out side our door. I'm glad we don't have to go down to the street for our mail. I'm glad your back is better. Try not doing chubby checkers the twist.
Dave, I hope the not taking the blood thinner is the cause of your pain and you can get on the blood thinners again.

I am the same way with chocolate Mike. Of course when you added “anything sweet” you meant Fay.
The permanent residents in this community get delivery to the box either at the end of the driveway or across the street from their house. USPS uses a right hand drive vehicle for the deliveries. The condos have a central mail facility.
I clicked on that link Kathie. You’re right! Now I too can see what will be in your mailbox everyday. JUST KIDDING!
Speaking of chocolate, it’s time for my 1/4 of a Gideon’s triple chocolate cookie.
See you all in the morning.

There's a rumor going around Mike that you got a very, very expensive gift for Fay on Valentines Day, is it true? You got her a dozen eggs. :) Like us, you are lucky to have your mailbox right outside your door, and not down by the street. I feel really bad for the people that moved into a neighborhood where there is a central-mailbox for the whole neighborhood. I just can't imagine having to get in my car to get the mail every day.

Happy to hear that your back is feeling a bit better, K2. If you tore a muscle, that pain is going to be around for a while. As for my "plumbing", it's 85 percent healed, and very few traces of blood in my wee-wee. Kathi must use that U.S. Mail link you posted, seeing as she tells me ahead of time what's coming in the mail every day.

I like that Lee. A doggy bar. I guess the dogs take their owners to it. I just hope us humans are allowed inside. You had mentioned that your Florida visit is getting near its' end, which got me thinking. When you headed down to Florida, our weather went down the pooper the very next day. So when you get back up here, should we be looking forward to nice spring weather?

Weather today is going to suck. Snow in the morning and rain in the afternoon. AND, I haven't seen a palm tree all week.

A warmish 70F start to the day here. “Home” is under another winter storm warning with the possibility of 15” of snow between now and tomorrow evening.
Good to hear that you’re at about 85% Dave. Another “wee” while and you should be better than new. I can only hope that we bring the warm temps back up north with us. Maybe even send them a day or two ahead. I wonder how many women (or men) got a dozen red coloured eggs yesterday. That made me giggle.
That sign actually reads “Lava Lounge” but Lu-Ann spotted the short version. It’s under the volcano beside The Rainforest Cafe. The spot used to be occupied by Captain Jack’s Oyster Bar before the then quaint Disney Village started to transition to Disney Springs.
There is quite a display in Mt. Dora’s Welcome Center with information about the town‘s history Kathie. Of course the catacombs are part of the history. It really is a cute little town with beautiful residential architecture which captures an “Old Florida” feeling.
We’re headed out to True Blue Winery to meet friends. Hard to think that this could possibly be our last ever visit to Harold and Fatima’s. Lu-Ann and I have been saying that about a lot of places we have visited, possibly for the last time, this winter. Coming back next year seems to be a topic of discussion with most Canadians we meet.
Is that Mike I hear rustling up a pot of coffee for all of us? Thank you. “Appreciate Ya”.
Time to check the morning news and see what hell and high water the functioning moron has bestowed upon all of us this morning.
Have a good Saturday and stay safe if you’re getting any unpleasant winter weather.

Hello from Dr Zavago Land! It’s actually pretty to look out back and see all the snow!
At 1:00 PM’ish it stopped for now. I used the Leaf blower to clear the backyard path to the bird feeders. Worked like a charm since the snow falling was light & fluffy. The guy we PAY to do our grass & snow doesn’t go to the backyard path. He‘s not a fan of us feeding the birds. WHY you may ask? Because he doesn’t like when the ducks sit on his lower lawn during the Summer. Has nothing to do with Winter if you ask me, but it’s not worth bugging him over it.

Dave: Good to know you’re 85% good on your recently roto-routed plumbing. Keep up the good work.

Lee: Always hard to believe we have to come back to reality and GO HOME soon. Get a big container when you get home and out all your lose change and bills in it all year and use it towards your next years vacation.

Good idea to use the blower on the path Kathie. Do the ducks not move when the lawn guy (Ed?) does the grass? Believe it or not I don’t think we’ve used more than $20 cash so far this trip. As for saving for next year, 2026, we already are thinking that we may not be back. Heck, it could be January of 2029 before we even think about using The Gordie Howe Bridge that we, Canada, paid for. Although I suspect someone will convince his feeble minded followers that America paid for the bridge and it should be named after him.
We had a nice trip to True Blue this afternoon. I did raise my glass to Pat, took a sip, and raised it again to all of you.

Lee, thanks for raising your glass to us. If I would have read this sooner I would have had wine tonight an raised the glass to you,I did make a motion of raising to you when I first started reading your post. That person's feeble minded followers will believe any thing he says. 15 inches of snow, don't tell me you miss it.
Dave, that expensive gift I got for Fay was chocolates, unfortunately I could not resist so I tried one, than anoterh, etc suddenely there wan't any more, oh well, it is the thought that counts.
HI K2.
Michael came over yesterday and spent the night. He left about an hour ago for an one hour drive back to his home. Fay made one of his favorites, speggeti or how ever you spell it.
Have a good night and sleep well.
