Happy Good Morning GIF by DINOSALLY
Just in case you forgot what day it is! (it happens) :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

Lee: We got I would say 10 drops of rain just now (9:29 am) and it stopped. Just hope it stays away. The deck carpet finally dried out from the Horrible Wind/Rain storm from the other day. Update: The SUN is shining outside right now. Another crazy day from Mother Nature.
Hope Lu-Ann gets a good report on the wrist. She's been a champ about having to wear the brace for all these weeks. Just wondering if you'll be losing a 'Client' at your make-shift Hair Salon if the brace comes off?? :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:
And your answer to how Mark is doing is: He's still in the Hospital getting another infusion today of the newer medication. Might come home later today or on Thursday. Only to go back on Friday as an out-patient for the Bone Marrow test. Blood levels are UP a little bit and staying up for now. Would be nice to see them go up higher. Patience all in good time. Crazy how difficult this is to find out WHY it all is happening.

Dave: Hope Kathi is feeling better. Sucks to be sick this time of the year. My money is on POLLEN from all the trees and pine trees blowing the pollen around. Our deck table is full of it every day I wipe it.

Karen: I meant to tell you the other day how neat it is that you sold "STUFF" on Marketplace. Where do you meet up with the buyers?

Mike: We have 11 out of 12 Potato plants that have pushed up through the ground! I'm thinking the last one will pop up soon too. Now we are supposed to mound soil on top of the green leaves according to what we have read online. I'll have to read up on that again before doing it. Seems like a strange thing to do!
Good luck with any new glasses you get.

Later gang. Enjoy your day and be safe out there. :emoticon 0115 inlove:

It has been pretty busy the past several days and my schedule doesn't seem to promise much relief for the foreseeable future. The Celebration of Life for Jason's dad was very nice and very well attended. Before he retired from the US Postal Service, Bruce was known in his town for delivering the mail in the coldest winter months while wearing shorts and on New Year's Eve wearing a tuxedo.
Sunday morning was the HOA breakfast, also well attended, where I won $60 in one of the two 50/50 drawing. More than paid for our breakfasts and the cost of the 50/50 tickets.
The weekend weather was, as usual, cool and rainy but is finally improving with temperatures approaching 80 yesterday and promising to be near 90 or slightly above that this afternoon.

Monday saw me at the doctors for a UTI which was quickly treated and seems to have been handled with a strong antibiotic.
Yesterday we went to a Massachusetts casino which is about an hour from our home but the casino gods kept most, but not all, of the money we brought with us and left us enough to enjoy a nice lunch at a new, to me but not to Rita, restaurant.
Last night was cribbage night and a very successful one since we won four of the five games (one by a skunk) so the final score was 9 to 2.
My high school class' semi-annual luncheon is this afternoon. Our numbers have been reduced over the past year so it will be interesting to see how many of us will be attending.
On the sports scene, the Bruins departed from the playoff scene, but our Celtics won a thrilling overtime game last night against the Pacers in the first game of the Eastern Conference Finals. Red Sox continue with their inconsistency of winning and losing from game to game.

NEGC: I remember Fr Dave saying he would dress up for a Holiday Party or delivery.
Glad the celebration of life for Bruce was well attended.

Your schedule made me tired just reading it. BUSY is BETTER than IDLE.

It's 85F here right now and WINDY. The wind is keeping the humidity down.... thank goodness.

Tomorrow I will be the busy one:
1. Stop at Car Dealer to help me get my CONECTIVITY re-started. Something to do with my cell-phone messages and SirusXM working together again. I tried to fix it per instructions, but got nowhere.

2. Quick stop at the Dentist to grind down the "crown again" so it doesn't drive my TMJ crazy!

3. Well needed HAIR APPT! Whew. Wish there was a Massage on this list at this point. Ha Ha.

Off to plant some of my Green Bean starter seeds that are 3 inches high outside in the ground.
I'll never start seeds again inside. Too much constant watering and moving to the sunny window.

Hair by Mr Lee is officially closed! Again today we were in and out of hospital before our appointment time! The Doc was thrilled with yesterday’s xray and has discharged Lu-Ann. We may need Karen to list that brace on her marketplace.
Busy day for you tomorrow Kathie. Hopefully everything goes to plan. Just be careful running about.
I’m out of breath reading your schedule the past few days too Bill. It does sound like you didn’t fare to badly between your $60 windfall and the casino gods leaving you enough for a meal.
Time to go flip the burgers on the bbq.
Have a good evening.

Good evening. Well the problem with the sound going in and out is my ear. In fact that ear has lost more hearing, it is down to 50% from 82% 2 years ago. But the other ear is supposedly better.

Not sure what time we will be going to Jupiter tomorrow. Don't know when Mike and Max will be getting there as Mike does have to work some.

All have a good night.

Yippee.... Lu-Ann got a good report about her Wrist X-Ray! She can RAISE that glass of
wine without any spillage! Ha Ha.
Lee: Hate to see you having to CLOSE UP your "Hair by Mr Lee" so soon. Hardly worth reporting it to the Canadian Tax people. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

We ate dinner out on the deck and before I set the table I wiped it down from YUP....

LOTS of GREEN POLLEN from all those Pine Tree's and Spruces in our yard and up and down the creek. It even effected my nose after being out there with the WIND BLOWING!
tree pollen GIF
I'm not kidding we can actually see this happening this time of the year on some of the Blue Spruces and Pine trees.
I remember brushing the stuff off the guy who was spreading fertilizer on his motor type cart last year! He was covered in it from hitting some of the lower branches.

UPDATE: Mark is safely home! Still needs to get that Bone Marrow test. Maybe Friday.
ALWAYS SOMETHING~ DUH!

Happy to hear that Mark is home,

I am sooo enjoying the summer weather we've been having lately. I could take this till November.

You are so right Lee; Too many people find a way to be offended by almost anything. LIGHTEN UP PEOPLE!

I've heard that a lot of people use honey to fight a cough, Mike and Lee. So far, Kathi is using Day-Quil and Ni-Quil, and cough drops.

It sucks that Kathi's cough is still not clearing up.

You may have something there K2 that it may be caused by all the pollen. Nasty hard cough that brings up nothing, no temperature and no wheezing. Which makes it highly unlikely to be contagious. We're going to try and get out of the house, again today. It was a no-go yesterday. That is one scary video of all that pollen flying off that tree from just a gust of wind.

Bill; K2 remembers correctly. I wore a tuxedo on my last day of work before I retired. I was rather dapper delivering my loads of gasoline and diesel.

Yesterday morning at this time it was right around 70F. This morning it’s 60F with a very cool breeze. Crazy weather!
We head over to frame the last wall for the plumber. Hopefully he has explained to Jim his logic.
Lu-Ann and I enjoy watching older TV shows and picking out all of the lines that they couldn’t write or deliver on air these days. Like you said Dave, “lighten up people”.
Crazy the amount of pollen in that video Kathie. We had to run Subie through the wash a couple of extra times in FL this past winter because of all of the pollen that covered everything.
Holy cow! I best get my breakfast and get ready to head out. While the guys labour away in Jim and Gail’s basement the ladies are heading in to town for coffee.
So, no matter where you have your coffee today, have a good day!

Well we finally got our first 80+ degree day yesterday and apparently some spots in Massachusetts may have seen 90 degrees. We had 18 fellows at our luncheon yesterday which is the highest number we have had in quite some time. Not bad considering that we graduated high school 66 years ago, and our alumni are scattered around the world. There were a preponderance of canes and walkers at the gathering and it was good to catch up with some guys we haven't seen for a while.
Was awakened this morning by a very loud clap of thunder followed by a second one ten minutes later but saw no flashes of lightning. Sun was out but eventually hidden by gray clouds and now it is gloomy and drizzly. Outside temperature is alleged to be 77 degrees but it feels quite a bit chillier and the drizzle has turned into heavy rain with more thunderstorms forecast. Glad that, for today at least, we have no reason to venture out.
Celtics second game with Pacers is tonight. Hope the results are as good as Monday's but without the dramatic finish.
Glad to hear of the good report that LuAnn received and hope that the doctors can determine the cause of Mark's problems and resolve them.

Cannot win! Had a post 3/4 of the way done and poof....I swear this computer is haunted!.
All you busy people and not so busy people, stop and smell the flowers, Have a good day.

Mike, I did just that this morning, picked a bud off my rose bush & put it on my nightstand, I love having fresh flowers in the house.

Kathie, great news about Mark getting to go home, still praying they will figure out what caused this problem though.
Good idea to stop dragging that heavy chair to the basement every year.

Dave, sorry to hear Kathi is still under the weather, pick up some pineapple juice the next time you go to the store, it really does help with a chronic cough!

Lee, hopefully the OGC's project today goes off without a hitch! Maybe the ladies will bring you back a treat as a reward for all your hard work.

Bill, sounds like a nice gathering with your old classmates! Sorry the Indians were not kinder to you on the last visit but it sounds you made up for it at your breakfast.

Hot & sunny here today, went to the pool around 11 with a couple of my friends, water still feels cool to me, but that's better that the bath water temps it will be later. The humidity is down a little bit the last few days so the mornings have been really comfortable!
Tonight is our last choir practice for the season, hopefully it will be a short one since we only have 1 song & a psalm to practice for Sunday. Our 2nd Alto is back from her cruise so I get to go back to being a soprano, YaY!
Dryer is calling so best get moving, have a super day all!

Since when did Memorial Day become a big holiday travel weekend? News to me. But that's what they keep saying on the news. Never has been to me. But it's suppose to be nutsy on the roads and at airports for this long upcoming weekend.

You got me thinking about a lot of the old TV shows, Lee. There was a lot of innocence in some of them, like showing only twin beds on the Dick Van Dyke Show, but also the shocking, at the time, of many of the jokes and comments on "All In The Family". The times they have been-a-changing. Please let us know what the plumbers logic is on framing in that bathroom, when you find out.

Oh you betcha K2, those air-nailers can be nasty dangerous. I'd bet a lot of people have nailed into body parts. I was working with a guy at Habitat-For-Humanity who was using one, when the nail hit something hard in the wood and ricochet back and bounced off his forehead near his eye. Now that he's home, how's Mark doing.

More members of your high school class showed up for your reunion, Mike. Did you ever think that some of them were ghosts of the past? Just saying. :)

Good advice, Mike. Stop and smell the roses. We've got to pay more attention to the things in life that bring us joy.

Kathi and I are with you KC on having flowers inside our home. It's unusual for us not to have a vase of fresh cut flowers on our dining room table. I'll pass along your recommendation of pineapple juice to Kathi. She sure needs something that reins in her honking cough.

Speaking of which, she stayed home yesterday because of it. The day started off well, but she still ended up sounding like geese going to and from Canada.

So I headed off alone to grocery shopping. Nothing much off the grocery list, but was tempted and got a bag of "Tostitos With A Hint Of Lime". Still haven't tried them yet.

Good morning.
A tad tired this fine Friday. Couldn’t possibly be from Ava’s walks, our construction and cutting the back lawn yesterday could it?
About the plumber…seems he wants to know exactly where the walls are so he knows exactly where the base of the shower will go so he knows, wait for it, exactly how much of the floor he needs to jackhammer for the drain. All well and good except the wall he wanted framed is nowhere near where the shower is actually going. Oh well. Job done. And while we were there we got Jim and Gail’s patio furniture out and set up.
I remember Tony and Pat telling me about pineapple juice Dave. Karen is right. Don’t know why it works but it just seems to.
What a great turnout for the reunion Bill. I’m surprised when I check our high school alumni page how far afield Erindale’s grads have scattered.
How was choir last night Karen? Glad your humidity dropped a little as did ours. It’s way too early for weather like we’ve seen here the past week.
When is Mark scheduled for his next tests Kathie? How is he feeling now he’s not being monitored 24/7 in hospital?
Our May long weekend was last week. I have noticed a few more MI tags visiting in the neighbourhood already today. I guess people took Friday off as well.
Have a great day and as Dave reminded us with increased traffic, if you’re out and about watch out for the other folks.

Good morning.

We had a very nice day yesterday in Jupiter. Nick had been stuck with 3 "girls" so he was glad to see Bruce. The two of them went up the beach a bit and got in the water and had a very good time. Then came back and got in the pool. Becky and I also got in the pool with them. About 6 Mike and Max got there and it was a nice surprise for Nick. All of them will be staying until Monday. We will go back down tomorrow. Today Bruce's brother and his wife will be going down.

This afternoon I get the basil cell cancer cut out. So I probably won't be getting in the pool tomorrow, but that is okay.

All have a great day.

We should post and celebrate the military's sacrifices everyday. So I'm posting early!

DAVE: It was BILL that had the nice school reunion not Mike! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile: Try and keep up.. Ha Ha.

Lee: You're seeing a lot of Michigan License plates because of the nice $.37 cent exchange rate on the USA Dollar! Thank you!
Mark is sleeping well. Bone Marrow is scheduled for Today. He's at the hospital now. I'm doing my best not to bug him these first few days he's been home. (we'll see how long that will last) Ha Ha
Nice to know you got the shower framed and even helped by bringing up outside furniture. Good work.

May a good batch of CREPES early this morning and filled some with Cottage Cheese mixture and rolled them up in a baking dish and topped with Sour Cream mixed w/a tad of sugar and spread on top. Baked in oven for about 25 mins. (It's a Serbian type way of making stuffed crepes) Going to deliver one small tray to Marie/George up 24 Mile Rd. It was 3 yrs since their daughter passed away yesterday and since I didn't want to bother them yesterday, I'm taking them these today.

My TMJ (jaw) is doing good so far this morning. Let's hope it stays that way. I put some of that CBD/THC stuff I bought for sore knee and back muscles and it seemed to relax the jaw muscle.
Always Something over here! :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

Have a fantastic Memorial Weekend All.
I'm making a VERY QUICK appearance to sing at our Serbian Singing Federation's 82nd Concert in Windsor on Sunday.
Not going to the festivities tonight (Fri) or Sat. Just don't feel like I can PARTY HARDY and shoot Booze Shots like I'd like to and don't want to be a Party Pooper. My group of Serb Choir friends love to sing by the bar and do shots and have a
fun time at these Festivals. I don't think my JAW (TMJ) could take too much loud singing and then there's the fact that I'd have to drive home or stay at one of the Headquarters Hotels over night and they're all booked already with all the 22 choirs coming into town.

LEE: My advice to you is STAY AWAY FROM DOWNTOWN WINDSOR AREA this weekend! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:
The SERBs have invaded the area! You've been warned! Ha ha.

perhaps you used that jaw too much? …but I have to say, that the way of making crepes sounds delicious.

I’ve decided to take Mike’s advice and stop and smell the flowers this afternoon. While I cut the front grass. We went to Costco this morning before all of the members of the 22 Serbian Choirs got there. ;) At 9:15 it was already crazy busy. The air was pretty still down by The Navy Yard which made it feel a lot warmer than it was.
That figures Kathie. Lu-Ann saw your post on that Facebook thing and wondered when you may be in town. We thought we’d drop up and see you and hear your choir. Sadly the only day this weekend we have something going on with friends is, of course, Sunday. ARGH!

Cap‘n Red Stripe, most of this gang has been together in some form or other since, oh, I’m going to guess the later end of the last century. We’ve laughed together, cried together, supported, teased and been able to share a drink with each other. They are a he!! of a fine group of people.
Now if I’m going to take Mike’s advice and take it easy, I better get my chores done.
