Let's Play BALDERDASH!!! (copyrighted game name)

wanwierd:

1. Usual, normal

2. Unknown loss of energy

3. Bad luck, ill fate

4. Someone with a strange or an unhealthy pallor

Hmmmm:
#1..wierd is not normal so that's out
#2..Doesn't seem to have anything to do with energy
#3. ???
#4..wan is pale... wierd is strange...maybe too obvious???

I'll go with the unknown and guess #3..Bad luck, ill fate

Wanweird.........Bad luck, ill fate...to any of you who chose anything but that definition. So.... Tobyn, you are returning a point to Corky and Funnel has given you, Tobyn, one back with usual! Red was pulling a few legs trying to lead them to her strange pallor by sitting on the fence for a while, but no takers...better luck next time, Red! :)

As for crapula:

1. Major headache

2. A false cover

3. Nausea caused by eating & drinking too much

4. Dolphin rotating in the water while at play

What's it gonna be?

Thanks Tobyn...

# 2. A false cover

No problem Corky. For as many as you have given me, its the least I could do . . . . now for today . . . . .

crapula:

1. Major headache

2. A false cover

3. Nausea caused by eating & drinking too much

4. Dolphin rotating in the water while at play

Based on the possible answers, and discounting my own bluff . . . . . I'll take 3. Nausea caused by eating & drinking too much . . . .Now it is your turn to trust ME! ! !

OK, I said usual was most unlikely for wanwierd so I was correct, but for some strange reason I chose it anyway... :duh:

For crapula (is that really a word?) I'm guessing #1, but I have no clue.

/Erik

Corky...you did it again...gave Tobyn a point for false cover...lol Funnel, I'm giving you half a point for giving Glo-ree-bee a point because one definition I found said it meant a headache but the card said nausea so only full point to Tobyn. So now you know why we probably say you feel like 'crap' if you drink too much! :)

We lost a few today playing....hope I find a more enticing word for tomorrow.

For spityura:

1. One who eats his words

2. The hired hand in charge of cleaning spitoons

3. Religious artifact for a feminine pagan god

4. Small burst of gasses from a fissure in the earth

(and I just learned that you can write either gasses or gases and be correct!)

Goodnight

Thanks Corky! Let's see if you guess mine again today . . . . .

spityura:

1. One who eats his words

2. The hired hand in charge of cleaning spitoons

3. Religious artifact for a feminine pagan god

4. Small burst of gasses from a fissure in the earth

I was going to wait for a few others to go first and then ponder the results, but I have already waited so I will go with #3. Religious artifact for a feminine pagan god

I'm half-happy for my half point! :boogie:

Spityura... #4 is my wild guess. Why? Gases can never be wrong!

Put me in the camp with Tobyn!

1. One who eats his words

2. The hired hand in charge of cleaning spitoons

3. Religious artifact for a feminine pagan god

4. Small burst of gasses from a fissure in the earth

I choose #3..Religious artifact for a feminie pagan god

I'm late tonight...went to a really neat Portugese restaurant with all you can eat fish......and they meant it! A waiter circled around with fresh platters...from bream, to kingfish, skate, shrimp, octopus, squid, tuna, salmon shishkebabs.....all grilled and yummy...started with seafood bisque, ended with delicious grilled pineapple $24.95 with a small group singing fados! the atmosphere was so warm and as friendly as our wait staff...lots of fun!

Well this one was a funny one....lol... Corky actually was smart enough to avoid Tobyn's lead, pick the right answer AND fool Funnel!! But for all of you who fell hook, line and pagan god..you gave Tobyn a point!
