Did you finish with selecting blinds, furniture, etc? You will definitely need a break after all that work! Can't wait until the cruise. DD and I both need a cruise!

Anybody book excursions yet? We haven't done anything yet. So many things to do and so little time.
 
Hi All,
I have ben very busy at work. I need this cruise more than you know. I have a new fee ordence I have to get done before the cruise, on top of that I have to write a new building code ordence that has to include the new floodplain ordence, a post disaster recovery ordence, and a new licensing ordence. Than I have to have to get it approved by the Board of County Commissioners. But I have some real good people that work with me and I am sure We will get it done. I am so ready to cruise :)
 
I need to finish unpacking, get window coverings*, lose weight, get the rest of my furniture, oh, and finish negotiating our union contract.....plus watch Greg put in a lawn. All is good here!!!

*Oh Barb.....I'll be online shopping again this weekend! The wood blinds for the great room are not wide enough and the roman shades for the morning room are too sheer! At least the front of the house has all cheap blinds so no one is seeing us walk around in our skivvies!
 
On my last Sunday work rotation today, and then we will be going to a 1 weekend every 5 weeks rotation. Now that I've finished my rotation and wouldn't have been going back on weekends for about a year, everyone feels a need to make a change in the system.
 
Forgot to mention we worked on finalized and assembled all of our cruise paperwork yesterday. And of course what weekend would be complete without a trip to the mall. Anne found a nice dress for real cheap at Dillards, and Arrielle ended up with a few accessories to add to the ensemble.

We had another busy weekend here. Went outdoors to a garden festival and woke up sick this morning. I need a bubble to live in.

Hope everyone is getting ready for a lot of fun together. I have not and doubt if I will be doing any shopping for the crusie this year. All our money was used to pay for the cruise. Now that we have invested in an Rv there is very little fun money that does not go to camping.
It is undetermined if we will be dressing formal for dinner on the suggested nights. Not to sure I want to take up the extra room in the luggage. I need that room to smuggle drinks. :-) Since we are car pooling we need to keep luggage to a bare minimum.

George I did nto realize that you worked on weekends ever. I thought you had one of those cush government jobs.
 
I was lucky enough to find a couple of sale dresses at Macy's when I was visiting my parents. I was just as happy about the prices as I was thinking that I could roll them up into a ball and they wouldn't wrinkle! Still thinking of being slightly dressy versus anything close to formal....

Coming to visit Curaçao on a cruise ship anytime soon? We have a special new tour for you. Sheree, Congrats on finding dresses on sale! Gotta love sales! Greg wants to wear his tux, and I will wear long gowns that I already own.

That excursion did sound interesting. I haven't researched in a while. I need to get busy looking at excursions. The last time KonTiki beach looked interesting as well.

Anyone been to any of these places or have recommendations?
