*BIG CATS INVADE THE CARNIVAL VALOR - 5/26/12*

Trying to figure out whether to stay in FLL or downtown Miami the night before...right now prices in downtown are quite high. Still would like to stay by the water, so might try to find something in FLL for a cheaper price.

Forgot to ask...where are you flying in to...FLL? Let us know what you thinking for hotel the night before.
 
Jim...haven't heard from you in some time...any chance you guys can make it? I'm sure you will find this shocking, Arrielle asks for daily updates s to whether Bubba is cruising with us this year...some things never get old.

Barb / Greg, hope all is well. We begrudgingly made our final payment last night as well. We were hoping for a price drop, but I suppose a obc will do as well. Many cabins still available, so I'm thinking we will still see further drops coming soon. Any chance you guys come in the night before for pre-cruise festivities...with prices the way they are, there's no telling when will be the next time we get to do this again.
 
Ended up going on to lastminutetravel.com where they were showing a 5 star downtown miami for $141. The one big difference between them and hotwire is they actually show photos of the hotel...which was easy to see as the Intercontinental...which is shown as $250 + on all other sites. So with the close proximity to the port and Bayside, we went ahead and booked it.
 
Argh....started union negotiations today for one of my hospitals. Thankfully got out early, but my boss and our attorney said preper for some long nights. So, every Tuesday for the next two months, I'll be working longer days. Longer than my typical long days, of course. I will need this cruise by the time this is all over, for sure!
 
We may have time to walk over and check the place out in Grand Turks.

Sorry to hear you have to work later than usual. Hopefully, you will still have time to get settled in your new place.

Have you tried any new OPI colors that are worthy? I need a pedicure soon and a cruise too!

I have to say, Barb, that I don't like very many of the new colors and I may just stick with one of the older ones. I have an appointment over Easter weekend and I'll make sure I book my pre-cruise appointment then. I have to have my nails done before the cruise!

I have no idea on the ports - I am so sorry that I have no idea yet - I just haven't had the chance to do any research.

But....I am very happy that I thought to check our passports a couple of days ago. We expire this year. So....tomorrow we'll be mailing away for our renewals. That would've been a problem!

Happy St Patrick's Day everyone. It's a big deal, with a big parade up here. It's going to be crazy!
 
Well than Happy St. Pattys day to all!!! WE BOOKED!!! YES with the BIG CATS CRUISE!! Bobbie and I and Calum and Aurora so far are going we have a balcony midship somewhere I don`t care as long as I get to cruise this year. We are paid in full. Now if Bubba gets off his A** and looks into booking he and his girlfriend Elizabeth will be comming also. Not sure about a hotel the night before we might have to drive down the day of the cruise.... but we are cruising with the Big Cats again :)

Woo Hoo! We are so excited you are cruising this year. We are so excited. Need to get some discussion going on about excursions. We haven't booked anything yet.

I would really love to start looking at excursions too.....I just love Curacao and would be happy just walking through the port and taking in all the beautiful sites.....In Aruba, I know there's a Carlos n Charlies near the port. Which port has the Margaritaville?
