Same here...severely depressed to say the least :( We spend so much time leading up to the cruise, and just like that it's here and gone in a flash...goes way to fast. Anne was saying yesterday we need to find another cruise to give her hope for the future.

Checked on San Juan flights with fake dates since it's more than a year away. The prices aren't horrible ($300-$350) but the flight times to get down there are horrible! There is actually a perfect return direct flight from San Juan to Cleveland. Go figure! The flights to San Juan go through Houston and either have a one hour or a nine hour layover there. I'll continue to check things out, but so far the flights look pretty yucky! (Not to say we wouldn't do it for the perfect cruise!)

I ran the same check and flights are $450 from here. Flight times aren't to be, but I would like to see that price come down some. I think Carnival has an eight day out of Miami / Ft. Lauderdale that does have that great intinerary...that might be an option. The Dream west itinerary looks good as well...but it sure would be nice to get an extra day for the same price.

Got some bad news yesterday...have another hot water leak under the house foundation again...this time in kitchen...quite mad. I'm gonna try to do myself this time around, quite expensive the last time and I did the bulk of the work.

Hi All,
I made to home safe from PA in my new bus. I had a blow out in VA. was fixed in 10 min and I was on the road. I have some body work to do but that will come in time. First I have to change the fuel lines and buy a fire extingusher. Than new tires. This will make the bus safe. I will be posting pics on the Full Moon Bus Club if anyone has an intrest.
I hope everyone is doing well.

Jim, glad to see you made it home ok. If you find yourself needing any kind of VW parts, I have a contact for you. A good friend I used to work with restored VW for two decades with his wife and her dad. The dad died and they no longer do restorations, but they have a ton of stuff left he tells me.

On Saturday I found myself thinking about it had been a week already since getting off the ship. Then I sort of took comfort in knowing those who took our ship from us were now being forced to vacate themselves...I want them to feel my pain. Twisted I know...but still somewhat comforting :D

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming ;D

I heard from my cousin the other day. She asked about the Dream. Her son went in May. I think that I posted that back then. She said they had so much drama on the cruise. They were not happy and wrote a letter to Carnival and all carnival said was we are sorry. I could not get the whole story except they were very upset. So how did you guys like your cruise? I did post on FB for her to tell me all about the cruise and she never did, I think I now know why.
