Would have been nice for the internet...I refuse to pay .70 a minute for slower than dial up speeds.
I know....I would've traded in my personalized stationery for 20 minutes of free internet.

I think there were no comment cards for a reason people. Maybe they get to many negative comments so they skip them all together....
I did not have any horrible experiences (well maybe except for the waves crashing against the ship) but I did not have any wonderful experiences either (except for being with all of you).
Oh...as far as dates go....do we HAVE to go in September, or would late August or any time in October still work for everyone?
I know Greg has some concerns about cruising when his next paramedic class starts, but I think we probably could get just about everything to work.
I keep on searching for something that meets our needs....why isn't there something that is perfect for us????
It seems like we are looking for the following:
Depart out of Florida
7-10 days
Ports other than Grand Cayman/Ocho Rios/Cozumel or Nassau/St Thomas/St Martin/San Juan
(though a couple of those ports mixed with new ports is totally acceptable)
Some happy medium regarding # of ports
Relatively new ship
No preference on cruiseline
Cost is a factor but is not the sole factor
Is that about right for eveyone?
I wouldn't mind going back to San Juan, and of course there is always something to do in Cozumel and Ocho Rios (?) The eight day Freedom sailing I posted met all the criteria you posted.....

Oh....George.....what do you think about the AirTran/Southwest merger? I have a feeling we'll be paying baggage fees sometime soon on Southwest. Grrrrrr.
This isn't bad....but it has 2 ports that aren't my favorites....San Juan and Nassau. I don't mind staying on the ship in Nassau since it's usually so breezy....but San Juan is just so hot and humid....if this is what the group agrees on we'd have to find something good to do there other than dodge rats and go to the bar! Antigua would be new. It's been years since we went to Tortola. And of course, St Thomas has Louis Vuitton!
Southwest bought AirTran, so I doubt you will see the baggage fees...and possibly on AirTran as well. It will take the better part of a year for the deal to be finalized anyway...so don't expect anything to soon.
There was an article in our Sunday paper about this today - fees will be gone from AirTran. GREAT!!! That woud've been a savings of $110 this year.
I wonder if that is effective immediately...sort of a sign of things to come business model?
It would be great....I find the fees so frustrating! I've said many times, raise my fare and don't charge me the fees, and I'd feel better about it.
