Wi-Fi access onboard Arcadia

We are new to cruising and about to go on 48 days Southampton to Sydney I notice that you have to buy Wi-Fi access is this true or are there places to use free Wi-Fi on board

There is no such thing as free wfi on a ship. There are plans and there are plans within a plan and generally speaking most of us are disappointed in the wifi at Sea. That being said some Cruise lines and some ships are better at providing the service. I am unfamiliar with that specific ship but I checked and its a 2005 Launch so unless it has had major upgrades I doubt its wifi is great. Check with who you give your fare money too and ask them to be honest with you. Google is your friend.
