it's a cool autumn night here; and I have beef stew slowly cooking in the crockpot.....

Yummo, can you email me some? I've been working all week till closing and tonight anything I don't have to cook will suite me fine. Trouble is, hubby is getting very tired of my balogna sandwiches. LOL

Think I'll see what I can throw together in the crock pot for tomorrow, or maybe a slow oven meal. I think there is a chicken hiding somewhere in my freezer. Great idea there Hucc.

We had a Weight Watchers goulash recipe. It was quite yummy, and the whole family will eat it, which is an even bigger bonus!

Maureen - do you make your cincinnati chili or is it Gold Star or Skyline. If you do make it, do you have a recipe? I am delighted to find Skyline in the cans here at Krogers in VA, but would love to tackle it myself (then maybe the rest of the family would try it).

Right now I am roasting some Cornish Hens that have been marinating all day in thawed Pineapple juice concentrate, canola oil and caribbean jerk seasoning. We'll eat it with some cous cous. It's delicious!!! I marinated 4 cornish hens so that there is enough for leftovers tomorrow.

We had KFC before we went shopping @ WalMart for those last minute cruise items. Magazine for the airport/plane, new unders for DH, cat food for the girls while we're gone, etc.

I'm sure I can find a WalMart in Miami for what I forgot to pick up.

You reallllly don't want to know. I started a very severe/strict doctor-supervised diet on Sept. 27th, and have lost 12 lbs. BUT, it's pretty much a nutrionally-balanced starvation diet. So, all the goodies mentioned above are mere memories right now.

Had a bible meeting tonight, so just picked up McDonalds on the way home to share with Simon. Max and Scooter won't eat human food.
