What is your favorite Christmas Movies?

Jeanie

Staff Captain

All thru the years we always watch Christmas movies during the holiday season especially Christmas Eve and Day...

Some our favorites are

it’s a Wonderful Life
Miracle on 34th Street
A Christmas Story
Scrooge
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

What are yours?

White Christmas
Miracle on 34th Street
and
Christmas with the Kranks!

MANY years ago, a TV movie would be shown each year - the Story of Silent Night (the hymn). I adored it, but I guess it wouldn't be PC to air something like that nowadays. I've googled it, but none are the version that aired back in, probably, the 1960's.

I too love all of the movies mentioned already. I also like some oldies like, The Bells of Saint Mary's with Bing Crosby, Going my way with Bing is also special. The Bishops Wife with Cary Grant is also a favorite. I remember watching those with my mother. Brings back fond memories of Christmas past.

 I like the Bells of St. Mary's and The "Bishop's Wife too! I use to LOVE the Christmas musical shows on TV hosted by Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Judy Garland, Bob Hope and the like back in the 50s and 60s....the "musical variety" shows of old are a thing of the past....the shows of today are just not the same.
