Not much to report on my end....a quiet day working from home yesterday. In the office today with meetings on the schedule.

Not as warm this morning as yesterday. 58 now but they say we will hit 85 later with sun. Yesterday we only got up to 73 with light rain most of the day.
My hairdresser called yesterday & changed my appointment to today which is ok by me seeing it was raining yesterday.
Other than that no plans here.

Good Morning Everyone
Bad storms moved through here yesterday and last evening. Lots of trees down, hail, flooded roads, many people without power, several houses caught fire. We even have several schools that are closed. More storms are due this afternoon.

Good morning cruise addicts,
We continue with the hot and humid with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. We did get a couple of thunderstorms yesterday nothing severe heavy rain for a short period of time.
Things are quiet here. A good bit of my day today will be taken up with meetings. Fortunately I get to do those from home.
Nothing new here.

It's a muggy morning with temps in the low 70's, and rain showers here today. We had rain throughout the night, but nothing severe.
I have an afternoon appt to get my hair cut. After the hair cut I'm going to take my Dad's wife to the eye doctor. Her appt. is for 4 PM.
I have never thought of Betty as a stepmom, I had a Mom. However, I think of her as a very dear friend. Fortunately, we have always had very good relationship.
KK, Those thunderstorms going through your area sound severe. Hope todays rains are much milder.

Good morning everyone. I have a sort of busy day for a change. Meeting at work, plus my usual workload, then after work we are all meeting at a local restaurant to say goodbye to one of our co-workers who is retiring. Then after that I'm going to my cruise office for a seminar by Norwegian Cruiselines. So I won't be home til late this evening - but hopefully with some helpful information!

Good morning gang. For the 3rd day it is warm & humid with t-storms on the way. Fortunately, we have had no severe weather but the rain has kept us shut in all week & the kids are getting cabin fever.
Connie, how wonderful for all of you that you & Betty have such a good relationship. It must make your dad happy.
Have I mentioned lately how frustrating some of my parents are? I have 1 little guy (3yr) who started having problems last Fri going to the bathroom. He was screaming hysterically as he tried to go to the bathroom & was in obvious pain. Finally, he got thru it but it was BAD. Told the parents when they came & they said they knew he was having problems as he had not gone for 7+ days! Instead of giving him something, they tried to talk him thru it! He came yesterday & I was told that he was fine & he was back on track. NO he was not. Had
2 horrible episodes with him yesterday morning & again in the afternoon. Contacted mom after each one. After the 2nd one I told her she needed to contact the dr as child needed some help as he was a mess & that I was not going to continue to deal with him. When she came to get him she finally admitted that he had really only gone a tiny bit during the 3 day weekend. She did take him to the dr & yes, he said the boy was a mess. Finally he is getting help to move things along. Mom did have the good sense to keep him home today. They would not let themselves go like this for over a week but they let their child. I hope they have learned their lesson.
Mike's club got canceled for tonight so think we will go shop for GD's birthday present. Hard to believe she will be 4 in a few days. Not a baby anymore.

Oh Kathy, that poor little guy! Some people just don't have a clue! Geeze! I used to have to be right on top of watching youngest DD's poops or she would get the same way. I always had to ask if she did the "Big Stinky today"

I have a drs. appointment this morning with the nurse for a review of my meds. since they were all changed when I was in the hospital. Even the dr. is confused! Then this afternoon I get to go to**physio & get twisted!
I got a pleasant surprise yesterday when one of my favorite home support workers showed up. So now I have 2 old favorites back. Not sure how long it will last so*I will enjoy them while I have them.

Kathy, My Dad passed away 3 yrs ago on Dec 23. I live near by, therefore I try to visit and give a helping hand. My half sibblings are there to help out too. We all have a good relationship.
I can't believe that the parents of that child would ignore such a problem. Poor Kid! My DD Gina had simular problems when she was a toddler, but we took her into the doctor to get help.

Hello all will try to get a post on today. I typed one yesterday but it would not post. Have had a very quiet time last few days. Rain a little yesterday and possilby some later today. Paw stump has been acting up with sharp shocks so he is taking it easy. He did change around some of potted flowers and redo flower box the Moss rose did not come up in side box but the other in pots did real well. He had 3 nice geraniums left so he moved those to pots. I was so drowsy much of yesterday I did not do much but sleep. Just going to enjoy the fresh air and read some today. Probably will head to Bolivar tomorrow to see girls and pick up perscriptions.
