I will be there April 12-16. Daughter and her b/f from April 12-20. She is in the USAF and going for some training sessions. They invited me, of course I said yes. I just want them to have some alone time in Hawaii. Isn't that thoughtful of me! I think on Monday we are going to the Polynesian Village (she doesn't start the training until Tues). The other days b/f and I will just hang out, we really don't have any real plans made, this just came up last week. They are renting a car, so maybe we can find something to do! LOL

Are the pictures you posted of the area around the resort?

I googled for pictures. The top one is Waikiki Beach, the other is a view of our hotel on Waikiki Beach.

I've been going crazy online trying to get ideas of what to see, and what not to see, and when to see it... it's time consuming yet fun. I'm so used to booking a cruise, packing a suitcase and going. A land vacation is so much more involved!
